Subspace Posting Rules
The posts within this forum are to be formatted in such away that they are short and to the point. There is no need for long descriptions of actions. Only dialog is required within these posts.

There are two types of dialog for this forum:

Two way communication is where a channel is open and the character receiving the call can respond to the call. These threads can be as long as possible.

One way communication is where a signal is sent to a character without a channel being opened. There is no possibility of sending a reply without a channel being opened. One way communication is terminated by including 'End Transmission' at the end of your post.

Secure or Open. You can secure a message to a character or ship by including the word 'Secured' in Title of your Thread. Open does not imply that anyone can intercept this message, just that it uses a lower security protocol.

Please title your Communication threads as the following: "Channel Open" for two way or "Subspace Message" for one way communication. Include a point of Origin that can be a ship or a person and the destination or intended person the message is for.

Example:
A) "Channel open from the USS Repulse to the USS Thunderchild" This communication would be between any character in charge on the bridge of either ship. All those on the bridge would be privy to what was said.
B) "Secure Subspace Message for Dr. McCoy from Dr Bashir" This message would only be viewed by Dr. McCoy.
C) "Secured Channel for Captain Campbell from Admiral Tate" The conversation would only be available to Captain Campbell and who he wished to share the conversation with.
