"Yes thank you Jay." Duncan replied. He noticed Ni's pause mid sentence but wasn't going to push for more information.

As the water for Duncan's tea brewed Jaden noticed Ni's pause. He moved closer to her while everyone was distracted and whispered to her, "Ni are you okay?" His tone should concern for her.

Gadeon gave a little sigh, he was perfectly capable of serving himself and certainly did not particularly enjoy the kisses, but he figured it was a compromise since he was sure Ni was aggrivated by how he never wanted to have any fun. he gave a nod to Duncan as he came in and as Ni paused he was about to speak. Hearing Duncan he decided to just listen for the time.

Ni perked up and put on her usual smile, assuring him with a big thumbs up, "No worries, Martyr Boy! Everything is a-okay!" She began to nibble at her bread.

"Martry boy?!" Duncan asked curious about the name he hadn't heard before. And since she seemed to be directing it at Jayden which made him even more curious.

Gadeon ate quickly, listening to how things, moved, but sending Unna a little message. from his communicator. "Everything ok?" He'd give her her space if she needed it, but just like Ni he'd leave open the chance to meet him somewhere if they needed to talk.

Luckily the sound of the tea kettle going off saved Jaden from commenting about Ni's new nickname for him. He took the kettle off the burner and poured the water into a tea cup with the bag already in it. He let it steep for a few minutes, added a bit of honey, and then handed it to Duncan. He then addressed the elephant in the room, "That's uh Ni's new nickname for me."

Ni cheerfully made a plate for Duncan and handed it to him, offering a flirtatious wink as she did so. "Come join us, Boss Man," the Zeltron welcomed with a smile.
