The Elements - Nightmares Echo - 11-10-2014
Life, it is simple. It started as a spark or thought...an idea. Which barrel rolled into energy and force which shaped everything that followed.
Energy and Force are the 2 prime Elements in Trimbel. They shaped the 4 base Elements (Earth, Fire, Wind, Water). As time passed, and the 4 based began to collide against one another, with the guiding hands of Force or Energy...they formed new elements. Thus, the endless mixtures of the Elemental planes are born.
The list of Elements is so long, that it's almost impossible to track them all. Like trying to keep an actual count of how many Tanar'ri exists.
The Shaping Elements

Prime Elements
- Earth - Created by Force
- Fire - Created by Energy
- Wind - Created by Force
- Water - Created by Energy
But, how can Earth and Wind, then Fire and Water be of the same Shaping Elements? Easy...Force repels Force...Earth and Wind will always be at odds because of this. Then how about Fire and Water? Again, another simple answer...Energy can neither be created nor destroyed; it can only change shape and form. This is what Fire and Water do to the world around us. They change the shape of things, define them and redefine them.
The Shaping Elements empowers the Prime Elements to mix.
Earth and Fire - Energy = Lava
Earth and Fire - Force = Meteor
Earth and Wind - Energy = (Still working on this one)
Earth and Wind - Force = Sand
Earth and Water - Energy = Nature
Earth and Water - Force = Mud
Fire and Wind - Energy = Heat
Fire and Wind - Force = Lightning
Fire and Water - Energy = Steam
Fire and Water - Force = (still working on this one)
Wind and Water - Energy = Tempest
Wind and Water - Force = Ice
Earth, Fire, Wind, Water - Energy = Life
Earth, Fire, Wind, Water - Energy = Destruction
Since the Demi and Para Elemental planes exists, the details of the mixing of elements can go on and on, but the above is just a idea of the ones that currently exists. I know there is a Demi plane of shadow and a Demi or Para Elemental plane of Flesh. So...the divisions of elements breaks down. The more Elements you mix with the shaping elements, the weaker the Demi or Para's power. The more divided you become the weaker you are.
