Simon's eyes gleamed with glee. With Solaire and Time, Simon spent wholly just repairing Meatball's body. It was intact, but the Mind was Gone. In truth, the spark of Life wasn't there anymore. However, Simon could strap down the body and push the spark of life into the body, where it would live again. Stupidly without a mind and only with Instincts, but Live Again!
Simon would then look for Richard, finding him reading in his room.

Richard noticed Simon enter his room above his book. "Sup bud?" He said, continuing to read.

Looks at Richard with a gleam in his eyes. "I did it brother! I brought Meatball back to life! However, he's dumb." grumbled annoyedly. It was frustrating, having to admit failure to his brother. He liked to create things to surprise and delight his brother. Richard had always been there to point Simon in the right way, even if Simon chooses that the right way is the opposite of what Richard says. That's why Simon believes in Richard. Not for blind guidance, but because he's always trying to help.

Carries himself with a bounce in his step as well. They arrive at Meatball, with Solaire eyeing the drooling mess. "Here he is! Strapped down and dumb, but alive."

Richard looked over the mindless form in front of him. He couldn't believe that Simon had managed to bring the creature back in such a short time. The thing was a mess but it was alive. "Do you want me to try and give it a mind or do you have other plans for it?" He asked excitedly.

Simon nodded. "I think we should take this as an opportunity to really test both of our powers. I've brought it to life, why not construct a bodyguard type for the Cabal?" Suggested Innocently. After all, Simon trusts Richard since they have each others backs. Anything else would be less then that. "Oh yeah, I ever tell you about the time Rebecca confessed to me in private that she was the one to betray my location to the Vampires?" added since they were standing over their history in a way.
