"I give my Oath to defend the Galactic Republic,
With all the abilities that the Force has gifted unto me,
I will lay down my life in its defense should I be called upon.
I promise that I will strive to protect those weaker than myself,
And defend those who cannot defend themselves.
I will respect all life in its many forms,
To remain unbiased in the internal affairs of member worlds.
To this Oath, I shall uphold the Code of the Jedi.”
