Bird Watching - Unna Hi Chaanu - 07-08-2017
As the party traveled on their new friend Jonash's ship in pursuit of "OWL," there seemed to be plenty of time for everyone to pass. Unna sat in a common area and was focused on a datapad. She had a ball in her lap.

Ni bursts into the common area and flops onto the floor, whimpering and mumbling to herself dramatically. Upon noticing Unna's presence ,she starts and sits up immediately, appearing a little anxious and wary, like a youngling with a guilty conscience. The Zeltron nervously bites her lower lip, her eyes darting around the room desperately as she tries to think of something to say. The only noise she manages to emit is the sound of her awkwardly clearing her throat, a pathetic attempt at combating the heavy silence.

"Ni!" Unna exclaims urgently, as the ball on her lap launches into the air. "Fetch!" Unna shouts with a rare excitement as the ball flies across the room. Unna was in an unusually good mood and even seemed happy to see the Zeltron who had annoyed her so recently.

Jaden sat in the common area looking at blueprints of the B1, B2, and the commando droids. His mind was analyzing all the strengths and weaknesses of them and on a separate datapad writing down his thoughts to share with Bay later. He looked up when Ni burst into the common area and watches the exchange between her and Unna. His eyebrows slightly rose as Unna threw a ball across the room and told Ni to fetch. 'What the hell?,' he thought to himself.

Ni instinctually reaches out with the force and pulls the ball toward her. She catches the ball lightly between her palms and blinks up at Unna, her anxiety melting into confusion. The Zeltron clearly does not know how to react. The corners of her lips tentatively curve up into a smile, more because she assumes that this is how she is supposed to react.

"Good girl!" Unna exclaims with a smile. It was obviously a little forced, but also obvious that Unna was trying. Unna raises her hand in the air and pulled the ball back. She tossed it up and down in her hand as she asked Ni "can you do any tricks? Can you do a summersault?" Unna had a nice tone of voice and a somewhat friendly demeanor to her. She was genuinely interested, although going about it in a way that one might do with a puppy.

Ni looked around uncomfortably. "Are you...feeling ok, shy one?" She seems genuinely concerned, cupping her mouth with one hand to whisper to Jaden with a panicked expression, "Do you think she's hallucinating?"

Jaden watched them and was very confused as to why Unna was treating Ni like she was a puppy. He cleared his throat and spoke up, "Um Unna? While someone can say Ni was following you like a puppy on Fray why are you treating her like one? I mean yes she should have gone about things a little differently, but she was just concerned about your safety."

Ashla walked into the common noticing Ni, Unna and Jayden as well in the room. Hearing the question Jaden asked. To be honest she felt Ni was more like a child at times than a puppy but kept her silence. She sat down beside Unna not wanting to interrupt

All hints of a good mood disappeared from Unna's face. "I was excited over a project I am working on and I was attempting to assess Ni's reactive and tumbling abilities in a playful manner, since Ni is a playful being. I'm clearly not good at it, so I will just return to what I am good at. Unna refocused her attention onto her data pad.
