The Boss Man (Round 2) - Gar - 07-29-2017 The Zeltron watched Tarkin from his makeshift cell with mounting interest. The little device in his hands, whirring and cranking between his fingers, taunted her curious nature mercilessly. After a while simply pacing in front of the room was not enough to assuage her from the tormenting sound, and she glanced at Gadeon--patiently guarding the door--with pleading eyes. Ni knew that bed time was fast approaching, however, and Gadeon had promised that Tarkin would not be 'disturbed' during this time, whatever that meant. She figured that it was probably best to continue her conquest for the mysterious, handheld gadget in the morning. Ni waved good night to her short partner, told him to call her if he needed anything, and started walking toward her bunk. She sighed a little as she could no longer ignore the bored feelings, coupled with that mild, festering twinge of dread. As she made her way down the corridor she reflected on the day's past events and how well things seemed to be going. She smiled to herself as she thought of reuniting with Bay, and then--she halted in her tracks as she remembered the other happy memory--Duncan had returned!! A mischievous smirk slowly grew on the Zeltron's face. She activated her com and paged Duncan with, "Hey Boss Man, could you meet me by the second cargo bay? See you soooon~!" Then she skipped away to go shower. RE: The Boss Man (Round 2) - Duncan_Starchaser - 07-29-2017 It had been a long day and Duncan was actually considering going to rest when Ni contacted him in the com. He had no idea what it was that she wanted, the truth was that with Ni you never knew what she wanted. "I'll be right there." He said and made his way to the cargo bay. RE: The Boss Man (Round 2) - Gar - 07-29-2017 Ni took a quick shower and slipped into a simple, light blue, sleeveless summer dress. After applying her lotion and makeup she started walking to the cargo bay, paging Duncan again, "Sorry for the delay! Almost there!" The Zeltron entered the cargo bay in good spirits and wrapped her arms around Duncan's waist, giggling, "I wanted to give you a proper welcome back, Boss Man!" She wore her usual playful smile as she stared into his eyes suggestively. RE: The Boss Man (Round 2) - Duncan_Starchaser - 07-29-2017 "Well that's not really necessary... but thank you." He replied. He unwrapped her arms from around him. "Actually not only should I be thanking you for that intelligence you got for us. But I also need to apologize for leaving. While I was meditating during your date I realized somethings that had seemed hidden from me before. The Force had granted me a moment of pour clarity and there were things that I thought I needed to deal with immediately instead of waiting to complete our mission." RE: The Boss Man (Round 2) - Gar - 07-29-2017 "Whatever the reason, I'm glad you're back!" Ni responded, taking his hand and guiding him over to some crates to sit. She patted the spot next to her with that familiar, impish gleam in her eyes. "Sooooo, Boss Man," she said flirtatiously, "Do you think my Intel was impressive enough to garner a reward?" RE: The Boss Man (Round 2) - Duncan_Starchaser - 07-29-2017 "Doing the good deed should be it's own reward. After all there really is no way to calculate how many lives Tarkin's information has saved." he replied. He walked over with her, but did not sit. RE: The Boss Man (Round 2) - Gar - 07-29-2017 Ni smirked at this response. "You aren't very good at reading between the lines, are you?" Since Duncan would not sit, she pushed off the crate and knelt down in front of him, slowly reaching her hands up to loosen the buttons on his flight suit. Her eyes remained locked on his, studying him, as she asked, "You showed me the other night that you didn't need an excuse to kiss me. And you said that very peculiar thing about my heart right before you left--" she laughed and shook her head, "--I still don't understand that little riddle. But what I do know is we have two days until we reach Corrusant, and you haven't had time to take a load off your shoulders, forget about the world for just a moment, and enjoy yourself." Her eyes traveled down for a second before returning to his face again. "I can help you with that." RE: The Boss Man (Round 2) - Duncan_Starchaser - 07-29-2017 Duncan smiled as he unfastened his flight suit. Everything she had said was true. "But why chose to do that?" he asked her. "As to that riddle I was talking about that you have endured a lot and you still care about what happens to others. That's an admirable trait." he explained as he raised her up and not letting kneel on the grating. RE: The Boss Man (Round 2) - Gar - 07-29-2017 "I'm not sure what you're talking about, Boss Man," Ni replied with a teasing smile, taking Duncan's hands and gently pulling him around so that his back was to the crate. "I guess you'll just have to show me." The Zeltron leaned into him and caught his lips in her own. Her hands softly touched his chest before lightly pushing him back, attempting to coax him to sit. RE: The Boss Man (Round 2) - Duncan_Starchaser - 07-29-2017 Duncan smiled as he felt his body giving into gravity, however using his impressive dexterity he was easily able maneuver Ni into his arms so that she was now on his lap. "Is this what you intended?" he asked before kissing her. |
