Good morning,
We begin our segment with reports of overnight action ordered by the Prime Minister. In a courageous move, Prime Minister Walibra Reebil ordered a series of air and artillery strikes at Terrorist strong holds across the River Delta region of Europa. At the same time, Baklid forces raided over a dozen homes of known Terrorists and Terrorist supporters within Rotterdam. The defensive operation was carried out in response to the unprovoked and murderous attack on Richie Resort by European Terrorists cells just two days ago.
We have a press release from the Prime Minister’s office explaining the heroic actions carried out by our Security Forces.

The image fads as a government spokesperson come into view. “In the pre-dawn hours, a series of raids were carried out by a joint military and police task force across the major population centers in Europa, though most notable across Rotterdam. Hundreds of Terrorists supporters have been arrested. Including the notorious Terrorist lawyer Lê Ðông Dương and his family. Do not forget how this crooked, lying man was able to allow the Maroc Five to walk after murdering an entire family.”
Hitting his fist on the lectern, “these Terrorist sympathizers have had a history of preventing our security forces from carrying out their duties. They help hide these Terrorist from justice. Aided murderers and criminals in these very acts. These Terrorist Sympathizers carry the blood of hundreds on their hands. The Prime Minister has signed a new bill in to law. Anyone who reports a Terrorist Sympathizer to your local Security Force Office, will be rewarded. You,” he said pointed to the holocorder, “will be helping us bring lasting peace to Baklid. We must stop these Terrorists and those who would protect them from Justice. Do not forget the Maroc family” an image of a family shows up behind him. Father, Mother, two boys and two girls. “IF we don’t stop these Terrorists, your family could be targeted by these murderous monsters!”

He took a moment to regroup himself before continuing, “at the same time, Baklid Security Forces launched a series of air strikes against Terrorist’s training camps along the Mekong and Hán Rivers. Ground forces have moved in and started to finish mopping up survivors from the attacks. And as I am sure it has already been reported, there were a series of explosions in the river side city of sông Thiên Đức. Despite what has been wrongfully released to the media, these strikes were in fact intentional. We learned late last week that a thriving Terrorist Intelligence network was being operated out of sông Thiên Đức. Therefore, the Prime Minister gave the order to attack the network.”
He frowned, “yes, there were a few regrettable losses of innocent lives. However, we blame the Terrorists and their leadership for locating their command-and-control centers in such densely populated areas. And while our hearts and prayers go out to the innocent lives affected by this necessary action, we must not forget the bravery of our loyal defenders who have ensured that murderous acts like the Richie Resort Attack won’t happen again. These men and women should be praised for their efforts in making Baklid a safer place for all our children.”

He shifted an item on his datapad, “the Prime Minister has officially requested the assistance of our Corporate partner, ArGros Industries. In response, they have committed their elite ArGros Security Forces to our plight. ArGros Industries only wishes to help us protect their sizable investment at Rotterdam. Their forces will fight along side Baklid’s own security forces.” He nodded, “I want to warn the Terrorists out there, now is not a time for war. That said, the Prime Minister wants peace, and has offered it. Any Terrorist who wishes to come in from the cold. Return to civil society, then the Prime Minister wants them to feel welcomed. If any Terrorist turns themselves in, the Prime Minister has promised to cut any judgement against them down by well over half.”
He raised a warning finger, “be forewarned, upon signing that new bill in to Law, the Prime Minister has authorized the Courts to strip property rights, and legal protections from any community that protects known Terrorists. This includes native communities deep in the River and Highlands of Europa. We are coming for the Terrorists. Hand them over and you will be treated with peace and respect. Hide them from us and we will destroy you along with them.”
