Quinn showed up for his date late in the evening. According to the new security procedures, he was escorted to the back of the Palace and waited for Astra. Within a few minutes, she arrived and he was handed off to her by the security team. Who rendered a simple apology with no other comments on the increased security of the Summer Palace.

"Quinn im so glad to see you" astra said she watch the security leave. " im sorry there's extra security. How are you doing? " she asked stepping closer to him. She half wanted to hug him. But given what he had told her earlier in the day she did not. She did not want to upset him with another vision of Sol.
" I ummm...Quinn" she said quietly looking down as her fave turned bright red. Why was telling him how she felt so hard.

Quinn looked as tired as he acted, he just gazed out over the darkened Garden as he drew in a deep breath. "Its okay Astra." He turned to and smiled, "Can we walk," he said motioning her towards the garden.
"Something wrong," he asked softly trying hide his exhaustion.

" sure we can walk but would you rather sit down" she asked him. She could see he was tired. She led him throw the Garden iregatdle. " no not wrong just trying to find the right way to say I think. I'm falling for you" she said. She smiled up at him. " I like you Quin a lot. For the first time in a year im happy. Iv not felt this way in a long time. But I know it's probably hard for you to be around me. Given my history with Sol and your ability. Quinn I love Sol I always will but that does not mean I can't love you the same way. I agreed to rejoin the Academy and the Jedi to spend more time with you. Do you understand anything im saying" Astra said the looked at the ground at they walked her face turning red. Then back to Quinn.
" Quinn many we should get you to bed. Do you want to stay here or I could take you home" she said worried about him.

He walked along side as they disappeared in to the garden. The bio-illuminius plants glowed in the darkness and reacted to their passage by dimming and brightening.
Her words sliced his skin like s vitro-blade. It triggered a painful memory for him...
'Come on Quinn,'Raza voice echoed in his mind. 'Tell me what you can see.'
He shook his head and drove memory away.
"Why...." he asked softly. "You barely know me." He laughed softly, "just a couple of days you accused me of ignoring the suffering of this world."

" your right and I was wrong to do that, I am sorry for that. But something keeps drawing me back to you. You sweet and goofy Roza absolutely addors you. I know you care a lot about your family and what they think, you don't always enjoy being a hunter it bothers you that people don't trust you." She said she looked up at him. " what I don't know is that you feal or why you keep having around. It's strange but I get the feeling your afraid of something. What's been bothering you Quinn I want to help if you will llett me" she said worried. She genuinely vared about him. She reached out and put her hand on his arm. She wished he would talk to her. Tell her what was going on in his head. She could not read minds.

'how can you not be a monster,' Roza horror filled scream echoed in his memories. He winced at the memory as it cut him deeper and penetrated his heart. He felt his knees weaken, but maintained his balance and composure. "She didn't adore me," he said candidly. "I have always wanted to be a Hunter, and I never regretted that decision," he added with equal candidness.
He walked over to a near by tree and turned to lean up against it. His tear filled eyes turned skyward as he let out a breath that he swore he had been holding since he left the bomb sight. "There was so much suffering," he said with his composure completely gone. His voice dripped with pain and anguish as he continued, "so much pain." He closed his eyes and tears dripped from them and drew wet lines down his face. "And behind all of that, all that suffering, I felt something. Something conscious, vile, and" he fell silent as if in pain. For a moment his face twisted as if struggling with something. "I can hear it, just below the thoughts around me. A soft whisper, almost inaudible." He paused a moment, "I feel like, If I were to open up my defenses, I would be able to hear it clearly. But everything in my being, all that I am, tells me not too."
He opened his eyes, "I spoke with a fellow Master who was at the site. I asked about what I felt. He said he couldn't sense anything beyond what we saw. He suspects that the suffering of the site might be clouding my senses." He turned his deep eyes towards her, "I don't think I am wrong about this." He paused a moment trying to gather his thoughts, "there is something here on Baklid."

Astra folded him and lisioned in silence. She reached up with out mouth thought to wipe his tears away she stopped just shy of actually touching him. " she was afraid she would make maters worse and him more uncomfortable. " who did not Adore you" she asked. She thought quietly about what Quinn had said.
"Jedi masters are not perfect perhaps he is wrong. The my be trying to hide sumthing. When we were kids Sol, Roza and I encountered these monsters. There order tried to right it off a as coolant leak but I know it was not halutination it happened. So perhaps the order knows sumthing about this planet this vail you felt. Perhaps they are hiding it many we can investigate it together " she suggested.
She wanted to pull him into a hug and comfort him. But again she stooped heself, she was so afraid if the toched him he would shut down and run off. For a hunter this boy sure was fragile. It worried her, she did not want to make another mistake and upset him more. " I want to help Quinn I just don't know how. What do you need" she said gently? Hoping that he would give her a state answer. It hurt to see him like this. She took a deep breath. Deciding to take a leap she reached up and wiped his tears away gently and quickly. " I know you sometimes read minds it's ok I don't care if you see in my head right now I care about you and want to help" she said gently letting here hand drop to her side.

The moment Astra touched his face, she felt it, she heard it. In her unprepared mind, the sensation felt like a thunder crack. His emotions invaded her mind and threaten to suffocate her with each passing moment. The petty he had for these people, the sorrow he felt for what was going. The shame, he carried for Roza's death. In a brief moment, she could see through his eyes, a Terror filled Roza backing away. Fear in her eyes, 'how can something like you live!' Astra felt Roza's words cut like a knife through his heart. The setting, Roza's clothes, everything hinted at a romantic, and secret, meeting. But somehow it had gone so horrible wrong and now Astra watched helpless as Roza ran away yelling to him to never look for her again.
He pulled her hand from his face breaking the connection. Tears in his eyes and guilt across his face, "I told you, she didn't adore me..."

Astra just stared shocked. " it was not your falt" she muttered confused. She was trembleing from the shock of the event. " im not afraid of you your not a monster?" She said more to herself the Quinn. She just stood there for a long times starting at him as she struggled to deal with what had just happened. It was invasive and she was not as prepared for it as she thought. She reached out taking his arm. " i-im sorry I was not ready for that." She said gently.
She took a few deep breath. " Roza would not have blamed you for her death and nether do I. I don't understand what happened that she called you a monster" Astra asked. Clear confusion on her face.
She took a few more deep breaths. " I thought her death was my falt believe me I understand" she said calmly. The trebling starting to go away as she processed what had happened.
" Quinn, I don't think you are a monster but that was wow, I...i was not expecting that." She smiled at him almost as if. Trying to break the tension. " I still like you, we are definitely going to have to work on navigating that I think it would take work from both of us. You willing to try?" She asked.

He shifted from the tree and moved slightly away from her. Gone was the vulnerable side he had willingly showed her. Back was the ridged and controlled man that she had met before. She could see him struggling to control his emotions. "She wanted us to kiss. For weeks, I had avoided it," Quinn explained. He shifted and turned away from her as he drew in a deep breath and scanned the dark garden. "She confided in me, that she had only accepted my Master's offer to remain close to me. She said that she really loved me, and wanted us to be together." He frowned as he spoke, "I didn't know that she was behind dishonest with me." He finally turned back to face her, his emotions and control fully back in place. "I had believed her," he said softly. "And so I agreed to kiss her. I had tried to prepare her for what she was going to experience. But I didn't prepare myself for what I would see in her mind." He frown grew deeper, "she was very sexually adventurous with so many...um...friends."
"She knew what I had seen, and was horrified by it," he said softly. "It was the last time we ever spoke, and I had assumed that she vanished because of that kiss. My Master had sent me to find out what had happened to her. I never went, I never tried to find out cause she told me not to seek her out."
He looked down, "I didn't plan on falling in love with her. It just happened, and I don't judge her for her," he paused as his uneasy voice trailed off. It was clear he was nervous, "adventures. By the time I was willing to kiss her, I didn't care about that. But for her, I knew the truth. I knew that she felt nothing for me." He pointed to the side of his head, "their all here. Her life, her memories." He teared up, "I warned her and tried to prepare her for it." He drew in a deep breath as he fought back the emotions.

Astra listened quietly she followed him. "I'm sorry but im a bit lost that dose does not sound like Roza. You have all of her memorys" Astra asked. Without working tears streaked her face. She was quick to wipe them away. She took a deep breath recurring herself for falling apart. " im ok " she said more like reminding herself.
" Quinn im so sorry that happened to you. I don't understand why Roza did what she did. But please believe me I do care about you im not going to disappear or run away." She reached out to brush his tears away again but stopped herself. Instead she put her hand on his should and forced herself to step closer. " Quinn you dont need to be strong all the time you dont need to hide what you're fealing from me. I'm here for you I promise" she said struggling to keep her voice calm.
" on the bright side I know what you can really do and well it's a bit scary im ok with it. We are just going to have to finger that out" she said. She tried to smile at him lighter the mood anything.

He nodded, "don't let what I know, or experienced, with her darken the love you had for her. I know that she loved you. Long before she met you, she suffered abuse that broke a part of her. It drove her to actions which I was unexpected to face."
He frowned as he stood there. He wasn't sure if she was telling the truth about her declaration of support or loyalty. He wanted to believe her, but he wasn't sure. Unlike his sister, who was a walking lie detector, he was far from that. There was the temptation of touching her and knowing the truth of her words. He shook his head and dismissed the thought.
"I am sorry," he said softly. "I will do everything in my power to shield you from it," he added softly.

" She never told me any of that" she said. She shook her head she had never known, why had Roza not told her. "I don't know why she did not tell me" she said. she could not believe her sister had kept that from her.
She smiled at him. “It was not your fault it was mine. I just wanted to help you. I did not realize how powerful your ability was and did not take your warnings seriously enuff. Quinn, do you trust me?” she asked.

He tried to hide his truth, he tried and failed. His eyes told her the truth. Despite wanting to, he couldn't trust her. At least not yet.
He shrugged, "I got a last response from Master Throin this afternoon. My Brother and Sister had made a full recovery from what ever happened to them on Baklid 2. So there is that."

" That is good Im glad that your siblings are ok. you must have been worried about them? Can you tell me more about them?" she said. she continued to Walk with him. She looked up at the sky. She looked to him and smiled. " You would not happen to have any images of the Dark sliders on Baklid 2, Perhaps we can put out a warning to sunco to be on the look out for them and report any information of there whereabouts to the Jedi?" she sigested.

Desperate to change the subject further than what had happened before, he nodded, "yeah, I can't imagine what they went through. From what I understand, it was like having the Force Cut off from them. But not many of the details are still known. But the darksider responsible for it," he said showing her his datapad. "They think is this person."
The woman was about Reine's height. Dressed in a dark hooded robe. Astra could see blond hair, just like Reine's. But there was something else in the hair. It looked like a feather or something worn in the hair.

He walked up to a stone bench and took his seat, "I never imagined how lovely this place could look at night." He gazed around the glowing night time spectacle that was the Royal Gardens.

"too bad it holds much pain," Astra said as she sat down next to him. " I know the story of this place now. The culty of the delphinium family is horrifying. How can such a beautiful place be home to such horrible things " She said quietly. She shook her head.
" I just don't understand why they were so horrible. The King and Crown Prince. They wanted to kill me before I had even been born and did nothing to that monster they call the crown prince." she added quietly starting over the garden. A dark expression crossing her face.
She took a deep breath" I was supposed to tell you about Ava's crazy plan to get voted into as prime. I was also going to invite you to stay here at the Palace." She said.

He turned as he listened to her speak, "there had been some pretty horrible things carried out by people," he said softly in replying to her story about the Delphinium family. "One thing that Master Throin, taught me. People are capable of some pretty horrible evil things. People...." he restated. He took her hand in his gloved hand. "You are Delphinium," he said softly. "That fact, and their actions don't define who you are," he said softly with a slight smile on his face.
"I can't tell you how many times I had to watch my Master speak to the children or the parents of a Darksider," he explained. "He had to tell them that the actions of others should not define who they were." He held is smile as he looked in to her eyes, "you are a good person, and I can.....I have seen in to your heart. I know this to be true."
He blinked, "Plan," he said puzzled. "Stay here," he commented. "It wouldn't be proper," he said softly. "If a Jedi, let alone a Hunter, were to be discovered living here, it would appear that the Jedi were giving favorable support to the Lady Forma."

She smiled at his comment. “ Oh even if you were here protecting me, I beleave thats why you stayed behind was it not” she asked batting her eyes at him. She was totally unsure about what she was doing this was New territory for her. She put her hand on his Thigh the leand against him. She looked up at him.” besides it gives us more time together. Give me a chance to prove you can trust me and maybe we can figure out the physical contact thing because im sure thats something we both need to work on” She said sweetly.

Quinn gave a nervous smile. "I did," he said with his voice holding a much higher pitch then he had expected. He gulped down air and what was lift of his pride as he watched her hand resting on his leg. It was so close to crossing lines with him. "I did," he said getting his pitch back under control. His mind raced over what to say next. "Well," he uttered trying to work out the issues in his mind. "The palace was attacked by Durro Thel-Tanis," he finally worked out of his mouth. "But, there has to be certain rules," he added.
He shifted slightly and moved her hand down his leg. He allowed himself a noticeable sigh of relief. "I require several hours of uninterrupted of meditation and early morning workout."
He paused as if he had covered his own desires.....then it dawned on him, "my own room please."

He nodded, "I will let the Temple know that I will be remaining here until further notice." He leaned back as she pulled her hand away. He blinked at her with surprise and question. Her reactions surprised him. At one moment she was pushing limits and the next she recoiled. Her actions confused him so much. "I am sure everything will work out."
He shook his head, "Master Throin taught us, that we need travel light. I only have a few outfits which the Temple can deliver."

She smiled " I'm afraid of everyone knowing it will put Roza in danger. And I would be a threat to the prime minister you and I both know how he deals with threats. He animated the 12th this morning around the same time as the Boom in the apartment complex. " she said quietly. " you and Roza could both be in danger" she admired glad to have dropped the conversation of her testing his limits. She looked back up at him.
" Ava thinks it's a great way for her to get the peoples support and get voted into office. I'm afraid the priminister will atack Roza and I. " she said quietly. She looked up at him.
" would you not want to hide who you are if the role's we're reversed?" She asked him she lay her head back agents his shoulder.

Quinn thought on that question for a moment. "There is truth to what you have said. But to give in to your fears and allow them to control you, empowers them and forever cast shadows over your life."
He paused for a moment before continuing, "you know what happens to us, when we give in to our fears." He motioned back to the Palace, "and what would you tell your daughter. That you choose to hide rather than just be who you are?"
He nodded, "I would like to believe that if the roles were reversed, than I would have the courage to stand up and take back my life. A life that had been stolen away from me."
He rested a hand on her shoulder, "if you decide to continue to hide, I will not think badly of you. This is just how we, as Jedi, are trained to think and behave."

" Quinn I want to hide bit I know I can't if something is not done Baklid will fall to the dark side I can't let that happen. I am a Jedi after all. Even if my master did spoile me a little" she said with a grin.

He smiled and gave her a reassuring smile, "to desire to do something here isn't wrong."
He shifted to face her as he spoke. "There are many recorded events of Jedi leaving the Order to return home and tend to family and or planetary issues."
He gazed longingly in to her eyes, "wanting to help others is part of who we are. The Council and the Order understand this. Which is why there are protocols in place to allow Jedi to tend to such issues and even seek emotional help during and after such times."
"But, Astra, you can't help these people while hiding who you are," he said as a matter of fact. "You have to decide what is more important to you. Hiding or helping this world."
Realizing the weight of the decision he reached out and resting his hand on her shoulder, "doing nothing isn't bad, so don't think you have to do something. It is a personal decision that no one can critique you over."

Astra smiled shaking her head with a smile. " the decision has been made we'll kinda we have to deal with the sereno's first. Because other wise they will come after me anyway the plan is to announce who I am get ava elected into prime minister and she will get my mothers peace treaty passes. Which frees me to return to the Jedi order my friendship with ava will help her gane the peoples support because the people of the system will see me as their prinsess before a jedi. Which means I don't have to be directly involved" she said wondering if that made sence to him.
" this does scare me but if you really know me then you should know I would never give into fear. To admit that you feal fear is one thing but to actually give into it. Do you think my master thought me nothing" she asked with a grin. She had a fealing that question would startle him.
" though actually rejoining the order is still a question any idea what I would need to do. Any idea where we might start with that one I can say the Sereno's are expecting me too rejoin the order I have a feeling it will the only reason they let me stay on baklid" she said quietly.

He laughed, "you have a great deal of misconceptions. First you act as if you left the order. When I searched your profile, I found no such status. Nor did I find and ejection order from the order."
"As for the Serranos, I don't under why you suspect they will come after you. Yes, there is issues with your adoption. But the very worse they will do is petition your removal to their own family leadership," he explained.

" that is because everyone thinks I am dead. I have been missing for a year and will circumstances are. Not exactly normal. I don't know what to do but as long as the order thinks I am dead im tecnicly not a member correct. And once they know im alive and have been this entire time what happens. My master is dead would I be assned go a new master to sent to the corps. As for the sereno's we'll they don't know who my mother is yet and I was worned to stay hidden," she said.
She looked across the grounds. " Lord Sereno found me only because he fell in love with mother and went looking for me. He is my father, it takes more the DNA to make someone a father. Both he and my mother wanted peace on baklid. I have to finish what they started. The people of this system should not suffer for the horror my family commit both sides are guilty of the fighting on baklid. I may have may misconceptions but I have been alone for a year Quinn. So please correct me I wish to learn." she said quietly.

He listened inventively as she spoke. There was a great many things she clearly didn't understand, that well many Jedi of her standing didn't understand. The understanding of her status being one of them.
Though her feelings about her own family and the man who sired her were clear. Feeling that if left unresolved could lead her down the wrong path. He felt for her, and even mentally cringed at the idea of having to hunt her down. Which meant having to hunt down her baby as well. He mentally shook off the unpleasant thoughts and resigned himself to protect her from her own self.
"Everyone thinks you are dead," he questioned. But he didn't mean to tip his hand. He didn't realize she could read his emotions and reactions like a book.

He laughed, more nervous than in humor, but there was genuine humor also. He leaned back as he moved his hands from her. As if worried that she might bite him. He smiled at how silly that thought was. But he could feel her panic raise. He waved his hands from side to side, "no no," he said softly letting a calming sense from the Force flow towards her. "Its not what you think. Baklid Authorities reported you killed in the explosion," he said truthfully.
"The Order of Hunters are tasked with tracking all Jedi. When a Jedi is reported as killed..." he paused and realized the trust he was about to violate. "Astra, you must promise me that you will not share what I am about to tell. You can not tell anyone about this," he said with urgency in his voice.

She felt the sudden calm. Are you really using the force on me. She giggle lightly taping his his arm. She giggled " Quinn vos the great jedi hunter, startled by a girls emotions" she giggled.
As series look crossing her fave again when he spoke. " I promise" she said gentle. She watched him unsure of what he was going to say. We're the hunters tracking her? If so why leave her alone for a year why not do anything? She was so confused now.

He smiled at her comment, "started, no....just worried you will allow them to get the better of you."
He heard her promise and nodded, "The Order of Hunters isn't headquarters out of Coruscant." He smiled to her unspoken question. "There are a group of Seers there who has the sole responsibility to know where our Jedi brothers and sisters are. When one is reported missing, or killed. This group searches through the Force to find them. Locate them." He paused rubbing his sweaty palms on his robes. He could get in a lost of trouble speaking these secrets, but he wanted her to know that she could trust him. "Remember when I said that I had pulled your file. I said that there was no report of you leaving the Order, or being expelled. That was the truth. The Order of Hunters quietly corrected the misinformation within the Jedi Archives and updated your file as on Baklid."
He gave her a nod, "Once my mission was focused on you, as per my Master's orders, I was able to pull these files." He shrugged his shoulders, "this was after our first meeting."

Astra gigled even more. " that's fair just don't do that every time I feak out please" she said still smiling.
She nodded understanding as she lisoned to him . She could see this was one secret she had to keep" ok so two questions. One if they know where I was why leave me alone for over a year? Two what exactly is your mistion and are you only here for that reason, or do you actually care about me" she asked. She felt a little anxious again. She really liked him bit if he was only hanging around for a mission. It was ok she could enjoy his comply wail it lasted.

He nodded to her simply request, though would regret making such a commitment just a few moments later.
He listened to her, and worse felt her fear raise. She was driven my her emotions and it was showing through for him to see. Still, he honored her request and held back his attempt to help calm her. "First, you had just lost not one, but two people dearly close to you. Did you expect the Jedi to swoop in and kidnap you. You were in no threat of succumbing to the darkside, so there was no need to send any of my Order to you." He smiled, "really Astra, you should know that the Jedi isn't a force labor camp run by the Republic. You are a member because you choose to remain. Even if you never walk back in to a Temple, no one is going to hunt you down." His face took a darker turn, "that is unless you use the Force to break the law," there was a dark foreboding tone in his voice. "Then we will hunt you down without mercy and bring you in." And there was the Hunter that took years to groom and train. His words spoken specifically for effect and to ensure that there was no ands, ifs, or buts. This would be her future if she crossed that line.
"As for your second question," He said placing a smile on his face and moving closer to her. His hand rested on her knee, though he took great care to ensure that this was not a improper location or intention. "First, my team is on a Hunt. I wouldn't be allowed to remain here unless I was under orders to do so. Those orders are to ensure your safety should the Darksider return." He laughed, "I know, I know, but its just for the official reports." He smiled, eyes glowing with renewed emotions that he didn't even bother to hide. "I wouldn't have those orders, if I didn't ask to be here," he paused catching her eyes and holding them in his own gaze, "with you."

" I thought the order thought I was dead" she said quietly. She was even more confused. So she could return to the temple continue her her training but how. It did not matter much Quinn's next stamen startled her. She know he would see her having meet both Durro and the darksider if they ever kissed. " Quinn I need to tell you something before you end up seeing it in my mind. I'm meet both Durro and the dark sider only once I have no clue where they are now. I did not know that the dark side was a dark side when I meet her I did not know she was a dark sider at the time. I still don't think she is one. We got into an argument and she challenged my right to the thrown. As for Durro, I need to know why he was in the palice the day of the bommbing. He saved mine and the queens life that day. I'v not seen him sense then and have no clue where he is. Please don't take me back to the temple or star light. Please if you do catch Durro don't hurt him he's not a bad person." she said almost panicked she was afraid of him for a moment. Sage covered her mouth with her hands when she realised what she had said. But if she consumed to hang around Quinn he would see the two interaction eventually. It was probably better to explain before he saw and freaked out on her.
His next words worked to calm her fears for the moment. She took a deep breath. " that makes me feal better. It's nice to know im not just a mission for you. Please don't be angry with me for not telling you I as much as I like you there's still part of me that is afraid of you." She said quietly.

He looked down in sadness as she spoke. "I have a confession," he said softly. "it wasn't Sol, I saw when you hugged me," he explained. "I saw from your eyes, your memories those people. I knew in that moment that it was your first time meeting them." He looked up to her, "I broke the link before I could see more. I figured you would tell me in your own time."
He smiled softly, "My father is hunting Durro as we speak. Yet I told him nothing when I spoke with him after what I saw in your mind."
He moved his hand to pull it back, but then returned it to her knee, "Astra, most people who succumb to the darkside are good people often placed in what they see as impossible situations. Or feel that just this one time, it will be okay. We don't Hunt them because they are bad people. We Hunt them so we can take them to Starlight and they can get the help that they need."
He looked in to her eyes and tried to reassure her, "Durro isn't seen as a darksider by my Order. He is only being hunted by my father because my Master wishes to learn what information he has about Olivan. There is no plans to take him to starlight. But your darksider friend," he said firmly. "In that moment, in your mind, I could feel her darkness. I know what she is." He tried to soften his voice, "she is someone in need of help. That is all we want to do is help her before she slips further in to the darkness."

" you know this entire time" she said confused. She took several deep breaths. " why did you not tell him" she asked rely confused. Could Quinn really be fully trusted.
" Reine is not my friend she is not my enomie at the moment either though. I really don't want to explain that one." As for durro he is not a terrorist and he is not connected to olivan. I do know that much." She said gently.
" seresly though if he had not broken into the palice that day the Queen and I would both be dead" she said.

Quinn simply nodded, "you said you feared the Hunters, and I wanted to show you that we are not something you should fear. So I choose," and he smiled deeply with a hint of pride, "and I am sure my Master would approve." then continued, "to trust you. I knew that you would tell me the truth in time."
He waved a hand over her statements about both Reine and Durro, "you don't need to worry about them." His friendly and kind smile held true, "we are here to help you guys, not hurt anyone."
"As I have heard you say repeatedly," he said with a smile. "My Order is here to help those lost in the Darkness and help them find their way back to the Light. As I have proven with you, we can be trusted in our Mandate given to us by Lord Hoth himself."

Astra smiled at him relaxing abit. " do you know a padawan named Daz Mural he did quite the number on my friend Nova? She is even a bit afraid of tesara and I" Astra said quietly.
She thought for a moment. " Nova is not at the summer Palace when she is ill introduced you but I digest you keep your distance from her. Let her come to you" she said working him. She did not want a fight to brake out between the two of them.

He knew the name Daz Murl all too well, but he couldn't speak on that. "Your friend will need to overcome her own fear and pain. The path back to the light can only be traveled by those who already on it." He moved his hand to her's, "we can help her, but she must want that help."
He shook his head, "I have never prevented anyone seeking the light to come to me. But she must want to come to me."

" howMn can you help her?" Astra asked wondering if there was something that could be done for Nova.
Astra shook her head. " im glad you are willing to help but it will take nova time to trust you it took a lot for me to get her to open up and talk" she said. She set her hand over his. " I trust you Quinn. I know you won't hurt my fried or I. If it will make things easier I will give you permission to read my mind and see my memorys just promise me you will speak to me about anything you see before acting. Also, how do you do that calming trick that was cool" she said grinning up at him. She decided to take a keep and offer her full trust despite the idea being sacrry. She was not one to hide from her fears.

He smiled and nodded, "trust is an important that is planted in the soil, nurtured to grow and given time will bare fruit." His eyes lingered on hers for a moment before moving his hands back. He moved to stand up, "I appreciate your permission, but its really not that simple."
He smiled to her question, "its like a friendship, but more softer. It is more used for large crowds of people. A Hunter's worse fear is when a prey whips a crowd in to a frenzy. So we developed the technique to combat that."

He stood up, "its late, and I am sure your nanny, Tesara is waiting for us." He held his hand out for her. Once she took it, he helped her to her feet. "Come, you can show me, to my room." He gave her a soft nod. Her eyes were intoxicating and her smile warmed his heart. But at the same time, he felt sadness. If she didn't get her emotions under control, she would slip in to darkness. As they walked backed to the house, he made a mental promise to himself. That if he had to Hunt Astra, that he would not leave Roza alone in this world. It would be the least he could do for the baby girl. He would leave the Order and take the baby girl under his wing.
He tried to reassure Astra with a smile, but felt his own fears for her future seeped through. "Its a lovely night," he said trying to keep the conversation normal and calm.
