RE: Act One, Scene One
Act one Scene one
"Captains log, Stardate 53829.04.
This is Captain Jackson Fionn Campbell of the USS Thunderchild, I still do not have my ship and now I find that she has been attacked. I hate that I am not there. It appears that a young women snuck onto the ship and injured several of the crew and stole a number of sensitive files about Admiral Ross. I have reviewed the files of the two possible suspects and find that I have a personal connection to one of them. Maura MacConnell is a member of my clan and a full member of the Black Watch, but she died last year. I even attended her funeral, but then how is her blood on my ship? Besides even if she were alive why would he attack a Federation ship, she was a marine. One of the most respected Marines in the Dominion War. It doesn't make any sense.
On top of that, it turn out the intruder also stopped to help on of the more serious injuries to one of my crew. Saved her life according to my acting medical officer, Doctor Ron O'Keefe. Not the safest thing for an intruder to do but crazy enough to sound like Maura or one of her ghosts. They always were known to take risks even when their own safety would be put into jeopardy. A similar act cost them their lives during the Battle of Velos, when they saved nearly 600 prisoners against orders.
I am also looking over the list of files that were stolen from the ships computer database but I have yet to find was it was they were looking for. Most of the files pertain to Admiral Ross in some way but it is unclear what they were specifically after. I have given orders to the Thunderchld to pursue the trail of the USS Susquehanna, I will catch up to them soon. In the mean time I will continue to read these files and try to find some answers. Why are they targeting Admiral Ross?"
"Bridge to Captain Campbell" an overly feminine voice breathed through Campbell's communicator.
"Go ahead"
"We are approaching the Thunderchild. Transporter room 2 will transport you there as soon as you are ready"
"Acknowledged. Computer, end transmission."
