Aftermath,
(OOC: This is a time limited In Between and will be closed by the Narrator without warning once he feels the time limit has passed)

The battle had been brutal and Rebecca was nowhere nearly ready for it. In the past twenty four hours, She foiled a smash and grab robbery between to rival criminal organizations. That action alone could have triggered the attack tonight. Its not that she cared about the robbery. It was more Richard and his own path on a slippery slope. She couldn't sit by and watch him take part in something that could easily have gone south. She didn't know if what she did mattered at all in the great scheme of things, but she knew in her heart that she stopped Richard from making a horrible mistake. She meant every word that she said that night. The words echoed now in her memory, 'If we are to be in this war. Than we must maintain our morals less we become no better than who we are fighting.'

After the robbery she foolishly stood face to face with a real live vampire. It was not one of her most shinning moments. She knew that the cabal needed friends if not allies. If this were back in Texas, the move would have been unthinkable. The Lone Star Silver Ladder had more then enough support units out there for new Cabals to call upon. But this is not Texas. She has maintain contact with her people every morning informing them of what happened the day before. She rolled her eyes as she thought, 'I can imagine how this report will sound.' Yet the local chapter of the Silver Ladder has yet to offer up any help. She had checked in with them as was required. Her reports should be known to them. Either they are too weak in the area to help or are unwilling to help her Cabal. Either way, she knew that they would not survive long without some kind of friends out there. For now, even the friendship of a blood sucker was welcomed. But she would keep a close eye on him.

If that wasn't enough of an eventful night, Rebecca saw to further complicate her life. In her infinite wisdom, she leaped off of a cliff in the moonlight towards the lake below and a waiting creature. She had wanted to learn more about magic from what was clearly a magical creature. However what ended up happening was she became the main dish for its dinner. Her mastery over Prime allowed her to struggle against the creature but she didn't have any reason to suspect that she hurt it. She annoyed the crap out of it, much like how a trapped mouse refused to be picked up. For all of her efforts, the darn thing didn't seem very injured. But luckily for her, her Cabal came to the rescue. In a clear show of heroics or stupidly, both males in her group decided to face this creature naked.

As she set there in a chair near where the conflict took place at a smile rose from her lip. It was a genuine feeling of happiness over their action. As she pondered the fact that they had risked their lives for her, her eyes watched as Simon and his familiar carried the body of meatball out. A pair that were perfectly matched for each other. The familiar acted more like an older brother than Richard did. She could see the strong friendship between summoner and familiar. He was no puppet to Simon and Simon was more than just a person who summoned the spirit. They were friends. Her eyes fell on Kira, clearly the target of tonight.

Rebecca was nearly in tears when Meatball threatened Kira's life. It was through magic that Rebecca was able to sense Kira's footprint still within the theater. Which meant that Meatball was really after Rebecca. Her smile faded as her face turned to hatred over the creature that was now dead. He had threatened someone close to Rebecca and this couldn't be allowed. Meatball worked for someone and it was time that someone became known. She pulled out her phone and called the local chapter of the Silver Ladder and waited for someone to pick up. Her father would be proud of her seeking help from within her faction. He could always speak with such silk filled words. He knew what to say and when to say it. Rebecca on the other hand, well speaking from the heart was nothing new. But she was as graceful as a sledgehammer. She heard the voice on the other end pick up and greet her. Rebecca knew it was just a middle person on the phone. After all, the higher ups wouldn't be wasting time on such a low level mage like Rebecca was. But Rebecca had a message for those higher ups and she was going to speak from the heart.

"Good Evening, I am Rebecca Pander. You know who I am and who my family is. This message if for your leaders. There is a conflict brewing and it seems that your city is ground zero. I don't mind being a foot soldier in this conflict. But I need help. They attacked our show tonight. They attacked my sister tonight." There was clear anger in her voice over the later part. The idea that Kira was in danger fueled those flames of hatred which spilled over in to her voice. Rebecca was not poetic like Simon was or level headed like Richard was. Instead, she spoke with passion and honesty. "I need help in cleaning it up and maintaining our cover. I am sure you know what is happening and needs to be done. So I will leave the details to you. If you can't or wont help us, then we will do it alone. But I want your leaders to know that I am asking for that help."

She didn't give the person a chance to reply as she hung up the phone. If they are going to help, their actions will be seen. If not, then their lack of actions would be seen. For Rebecca it didn't matter one way or the other. The call was only meant to see where in this conflict the local Silver Ladder planned to be. For the time being a plan had to be created for their Cabal. The police were clearly on the way and they only had moments to clean up what they could. She didn't even know if her head of security was alive or dead. 'No' she declared in her thoughts. They couldn't rely solely on the Ladder to rush in and save them. That was not the way of her faction. Sure asking for help was okay. But she had to show them that they were not completely helpless. She saw Richard walking from backstage. With her right hand, she waved him over.

RE: Aftermath,
Richard severed the link with Simon after telling him to call the Free Council to inform them of what had happened. They needed to know what was going on and The Free Council seemed like a good place to start. If they decided not to reveal something he just might have to pay then a visit.

Richard looked around the wreckage, his mind already divided in two trying to decide how to explain the current situation. time told him that sticking as close to the truth as possible would be the best course of action. the audience would not have known the difference but any crew would know that Kira was not meant to be attacked at the end of the show. Since meatball had taken on Kira's appearance during the kidnapping it would be easy to suggest that Richard and Simon simply tried to prevent her from being taken. After her rescue Kira revealed that Rebecca was in fact the one in danger so all three of them hightailed it back to the theater in order to protect Rebecca. when they arrived the theater had already been damaged. Seeing that Rebecca now had back up the assailant decided to flee. Simon chased after the assailant and considering his low intelligence may not have the mental fortitude to realize he should return to issue a statement to police before returning home. this was all a matter of simple self defense. Richard was just sorry that they were unable to catch the monster that had attacked his friends.

Richard walked out from behind the back of the theater and saw Rebecca waving him towards her so he started that way.

RE: Aftermath,
Rebecca kept a close eye on Kira as she was helping cleaning things up around the Theater. It bothered Rebecca that her closest of friends were targeted. Still there was work to be done and she knew who was best for the job. "Richard" Rebecca said in pain as she rubbed her leg. The bullet wound from this morning had never really healed and she didn't bother to mention it to anyone. She didn't know why she didn't bother to mention it. Rebecca just figured she didn't want to seem whinny. As she spoke she ripped a piece of cloth from her costume and started to place a fresh bandage on her bleeding leg. "What happened here tonight" she said wincing in pain. "There were by questions. Lots of questions," she explained as she paid close attention to what she was doing. "I need you to speak for us when the police arrive," she said then looked over at Kira.

Rebecca loved Kira just like her own brothers. But she knew that Kira had a innocent, yet big mouth. "ALL of us" Rebecca added to ensure that Richard knew what she meant. Rebecca was in pain from her ordeal with the magic sucking monster to shotting herself in the leg to now. Her body screamed for mercy with each new movement. There was no hiding it and Rebecca no longer had the strength to even if she wanted to. Her pain was clearly written for all to see. "Just to make sure you know what happened after you guys left. I had one of Kira's stage doubles finish up the show. As far as everyone knows, Kira and I never left the Theater. This double is one of our most trusted. This woman will keep her mouth shut. I told security to clear the building, even of staff. So there shouldn't be too many witnesses that you will have to, um, mess with their memories if need be." Even as the words slipped past her lips she hated the idea of it. But knew it was necessary to keep the cover alive. "I hope that this helps you in creating a story that explains all of this." She starting to tie the new cloth around her leg as she let out a slight whimper from the pain.
