Visiting Hours

RE: Visiting Hours
After Unna left Maya's cell, she went around to various cells to offer foods and words of encouragement. It was hard for her to witness the innocent hanging so helplessly, when not long ago she would see them around the academy training so rigorously. Unna noticed that the older an individual was, and the more hazing they endured, the better off they were in captivity. That left her wondering about the condition of Auro, who seemed to have been allowed to completely skip the process.

Unna passed through several cells before coming across the one containing Auro. When she saw him suspended in the air, she paused for a moment to compose herself before continuing into the cell. "Hello, Brother," she greeted him. "I hope you are doing well. I saw many of the others, including Jenna and Maya, but Graff is inaccessible, so I have no idea how he is being treated. I fear that it isn't well, but I get the feeling that he can endure it." Unna reached into her pocket and pulled out the fish jerky she had brought. "I brought some food. I am glad I did, after I learned of how you all were only being provided with the bare minimum. I wish I could let you down, but after letting Jenna down, Maya cautioned me against doing so again. Would you like something to eat? I could feed it to you..."

RE: Visiting Hours
Hearing the sound of Unna's voice, Auro's jet-black eyes opened to glimpse her standing before the containment field. In the center of the holding cell, he hung suspended in mid-air between an orb below his feet and a second orb above his head. His body was tilted forward and steadily rotated 360° in a bluish cone of magnetic energy. Metal cuffs secured each of his wrists slightly in front of his sides, while a matching pair held his ankles firmly in place, roughly shoulder width apart.

"Big sister," Auro said, giving Unna a weary smile as he rotated back into view of her. His voice was scratchy and cracked intermittently. "You shouldn't be here," Auro warned her. "But it's so good to see you," he said, his demeanor warm and peaceful despite the perilous circumstances he and his fellow Saber Blades now found themselves facing.

"Be careful what you say in here and don't risk staying any longer than you should," Auro cautioned her, "but tell me what you can about Jenna, Maya, and the other Saber Blades you visited. How are they holding up?"

"As for me, I'm hanging in there," he quipped, hoping a bit of humor might comfort his oldest friend. "Thirsty, though," Auro admitted. "Is that fish jerky?" he asked, lifting his gaze to the transparisteel cage that hung in the hallway. "I don't know if Pablo-Jill is even being fed. Please give him my portion. Better yet, do you think you can sneak him out with you?"

"We need you, big sister." Auro said gravely. "Please contact Master Chun and Master Drase upon leaving here and enlist their help. As we've both learned, Master Chun is a highly respected figure within the Jedi Order and a war hero of the Republic. His voice will carry significant influence. We must also send word of Graff's plight to his grandfather, Chancellor of the Republic. I don't know if the Chancellor can act directly, but a man of his standing must have strong allies he can count on to intervene…"
"I am a servant of the light and of the life which infuses it."

RE: Visiting Hours
"I shouldn't?" Unna asked, with a sly smile. "Surely the headmaster wouldn't want me feeding the malnourished souls he wrongfully detained, so in that sense I shouldn't. However, by what I believe to be right, I should be. I suppose it depends on who's principles I live by."

Unna put the food back into her pocket. "Sure, if I come across him I will pass along the jerky, but I do not think it would be good for any of us if I removed Pablo-Jill from where they expect him to be. If I could get away with that, I would just free you all. That would just cause more trouble though."

"The others are okay, but I asked Jenna how she felt about me potentially contacting the Chancellor and she advised against it. If it would save your lives, I would do it anyway, but she gave me another idea. As for Master Draese, I've already planned to do so, but I came here while I await the opportunity." Unna's body tensed up suddenly, as if she just realized something. She sensed that she shouldn't be there any longer. "I strongly feel that it is time to go. Please, trust that if possible, I will do everything in my power to make this right."

RE: Visiting Hours
Unna walked out of the holding area, making sure she left everything just the way she found it on her way to the entrance. It was hard to leave her fellow Jedi in such conditions, but she wouldn't be doing anyone any favors by pushing more boundaries than she already had. When Master Mika entrusted her with the data card, she told him that she wanted to feed and visit her friends, so she did not want to alter anything which would betray his trust. He had been kind enough, and for that she was grateful. As she exited, she locked the door and set off to find Master Mika to return the data card. She sincerely thanked him for his compassion and expressed her admiration for the good deed he allowed her to do.
