Quote:Previous House Rule No Longer In Use:
Because of the close relationship between Jedi and their lightsaber, those characters that have at least three Jedi levels will receive the Feat Quickdraw free of charge. This reflects a Jedi's ability to be prepared for any danger even if they were caught flatfooted.
Because of their training and the very nature of Lightsaber Form One being the basic lightsaber form and taught to every padawan/youngling, any character with five Jedi levels and meets the prerequisites will receive Lightsaber Form One free of charge.
So it was asked of me to refine and reinvent this house rule in relationship between the two Jedi Base Classes (Consular and Guardian)
First and foremost these house rules apply only to those who's base (starting classes) are either of the Jedi Base Classes. This change is retroactive for all characters that it applies to! If you meet the prerequisites you gain the benefit of this house rule.
Jedi Guardian:
lvl 1 Jedi Guardian and three ranks in move object grants you quickdraw (lightsaber only)
lvl 5 Jedi Guardian grants you weapon finesse (lightsaber)
These feats are not interchangeable or available to substitution
Jedi Consular:
lvl 1 Jedi Consular and three combined ranks in See Force and Enhance Senses grants you Aware
lvl 5 Jedi Consular grants you Compassion
These feats are not interchangeable or available to substitution
Lightsaber Fighting Styles:
As long as the character meets the prerequisites, AND the character has activity sought the style in name (meaning actively declaring that they are learning a style) they gain the style free of charge. Please make sure that you check the different fighting styles. You may already be qualified to 'learn' a style.
Learning styles as part of backstories: I will accept that a character can come in to the game being familiar with a Lightsaber Fighting Style. Please make sure that this well explained and is woven in to the backstory.
I do not place a limit of how many styles one can gain. I am also open to discussion about Style Mastery. This is opened in such a way to give Jedi characters more opportunity to explore the depths of their character.
(special note!: Non-Jedi feeling left out? talk to me! I love opening doors for the sake of good story construction)
