Commander Birgr

Birgr made his way to the med bay fairly quickly; however, he had a lot on his mind. He looked at Senni's sword again. It shouldn't be this damaged. Azgardian weapons were always made to last forever, with minimal damage to he blade itself. But that is a different issue and must be dealt with later. As he arrived he immediately started looking for Talons suit.

NPC: Nurse
A nurse greeted the mighty Azgardian warrior as he walked in to the Med Bay. "Greetings. The Doctor said that you might come by again. Your commanders status has improved. It looks like she will pull through after all" the nurse briefed Birgr.

Carissa

It didn't take Birgr long to get the location of Talon's combat armor. He walked in to a side lab of the med bay where Carissa was working on the armor. "Greetings Birgr. How may I help you?" It was clear that she was running test on the armor in hope of better finding out what happened. "It would seem that what ever impacted the armor had a high level of iron ore, mid levels of carbon and trace elements of tin." She explained.

Captain Koo'Lak

Ogon quietly approached from his vigil by Talon's bed. He'd been processing everything he'd learned that day and trying to think of a way to get Senni to just be straightforward, but hadn't been able to figure it out since he couldn't understand why she was hiding something in the first place. "She's quite the little scientist, isn't she?" he piped up. "My daughter, I mean. I'd say her findings are just about as conclusive as it gets."

Commander Birgr

"I suppose she is. At any rate, we need to know what this is made out of." Birgr handed Senni's sword to Ogon, hilt first. "I just saw Senni throw this at a wall. It's a lot more damaged than it should be."

Captain Koo'Lak

Concerned, Ogon took the sword. "So, wait," he said as he carefully handed it to Carissa for analysis, "you think her swords could still be the culprit? I thought all Azgardian weaponry and armor was made of the same material..."

Commander Birgr

"They are. I just want to know why it is so damaged. I don't believe that Senni struck Talon. Especially after what I just witnessed." Birg had a look of bewilderment on his face.

Carissa

Carissa looked up from the limited equipment in the lab, "the materials that are used to create the sword as the same as what struck Talon. This sword is clearly not of Azgardian construction. It lacks all of the prime components of what Azgardians use to create their melee weapons and armor. I have to say judging by the make up, it is a very well crafted replica." She took the blade and showed them, "see here these markings. Look at the detail put in to how the markings. Great care was put in to its creation"

Captain Koo'Lak

"And now we're back to square one, as far as physical evidence goes." Ogon said, rubbing his temples. "What about Senni herself? You mentioned something just happening...?"

Carissa

Carissa looked to her father, "I said that they shared common elements but I didn't say they were the same. The item that left its mark on Talon's armor is of a much lower grade metal than what this sword was crafted it. As I said, great craftsmanship went in to this weapons creation. The item that hit Talon's armor does not hold the same properties. So we are not at, um the first square. We know for sure that this weapon did not leave the traces on her armor."

Commander Birgr

Birgr took a seat and let out a sigh. He took the bullet out of his mouth and focused his eyes on it as he recalled the event. "I went to find Senni to let her know that I believed that she was innocent. When I found her in the lounge, she was finishing a bottle. We had our...discussion and it started to become a bit heated. In a fit of emotion, she exclaimed that she saw a jedi, who was telling her to kill me and prove that I am an illusion. She then threw her sword at an empty chair screaming for it to get out of her head, and then continued to curl into a ball muttering her innocence about the attack on Talon. I decided to try to get her mind off of everything else so I asked the name of my nephew. She told me that Ariq wanted to name it after me. She said that one time, they had been in the mountains and Ariq had stated that if Thor ever granted him a son, he would name it after me. But here is part of the kicker. As she explained this to be, she started to shiver as though she were in the mountains at that moment. What we are dealing with here is very complex. She not only believes that she is in an illusion with us, but she also hallucinates her captors, and if she remembers something, her mind makes her relive it." He looked up to see what Ogon's reaction would be.

Captain Koo'Lak

Absorbing everything he'd just been told as best he could, he looked more worried than ever. "Well, that doesn't make things any better. Even if we've cleared her name as far as this incident is concerned, her unraveling mental state will continue to be an issue. You know the others won't want to fight alongside her if they don't think she's stable, and she's clearly not stable..."

Commander Birgr

Birgr heaved another sigh. "So what do we do then? I don't think she will intentionally hurt anyone. She wants this to be the reality. But the morale of my men will keep them from their best...or do we wait for Miss I-Just-Can't-Seem-To-Die to decide? The nurse said she is improving and should pull through."

Captain Koo'Lak

"Well the whole thing will be solved when Talon 'gets back' anyway, then." Ogon paced about a little, then asked "What about you? You're basically Senni's family, and the whole thing with Angel cant be treating you well..."

Commander Birgr

Birgr shifted uncomfortably before reinserting the bullet in his mouth. "I am very worried about Senni. She experienced something that none of us can even begin to imagine. She may be too unstable..." He shook away the thought that just went through his head. "And Angel, she doesn't even know what is going on. She told me that we can have a relationship, just without attachments...whatever that means. She said she doesn't know what that means, so now I just wait for her to figure it out." He leaned back in his seat at he looked up at Ogon.

Carissa

As the conversation shifted from the science of the issue to a more personal opinion, Carissa choose to remain silent. She had a keen interest in observing the condition of relationships between life forms. Hearing the complexity of Birgr's and Angel's relationship seemed very enlightening. She pondered the question that if this was rare to Azgardians or to Jedi or a combination of both.

The comment of not being able to die was not lost on her either. "That is not correct Sir. The Medics were through in their report. Talon was flat line for nearly ten minutes before they landed in the hanger bay. It wasn't till Spoonie examined her did he overrule their original ruling of her death."

She felt content with the correction and wanted to dig deeper in to the more interesting subject of Birgr's relationship with Angel, "could you please express your feelings of Angel's choice?" She had hoped her question would spur more conversation of the topic and help her rule out where these complexities originate from. Her eyes blinked with excitement as she tried to mimic a more 'feeling look.' Something she felt would help others become more comfortable in dealing with her.

Commander Birgr

Birgr gave her a look that is only reserved for those people who don't only miss the joke, but ruin the fun of it. As he looked at her, he noticed her attempting to create some look on her face that showed some sort of emotion. It was cute...in a creepy sort of way. "What exactly would you like to know?"

Carissa

Caught slightly off guard by the limitless offer from his statement, Carissa tilted her head to the side as she ran through the billions of bits of information which could widely benefit from insight of a creature capable of feeling. The process of prioritizing them all took place in a blink of an eye. She finally settled on one question, "why do you choose to love this one crea.....person. when there are many other more suitable candidates."

Carissa leaned back in her chair and looked up at the massive man looming over her. Everything she know about the man did not reflect what she knew about the race as a whole. His actions seemed to confuse her on so many levels. She figured if she could corner the reason why this one creature..'person' she corrected herself, than maybe she could understand this emotion.

Captain Koo'Lak

Ogon chuckled quietly at her misunderstanding of the 'immortal' comment, then looked to Birgr with mild amusement. "I think I'd like to hear your reasons for choosing this one 'person' as well!" Somewhere in his mind, he wondered if Carissa would catch his linguistic jab.

Commander Birgr

Brigr wrinkled his brow as he thought. "I didn't really choose to feel what I do toward her, I just...do." He scratched his head, trying to shake loose the proper words to explain; unfortunately they could not be found. "There is just something special about her that makes me a bit...lighter inside."

Captain Koo'Lak

Snorting at the simple charm of the situation amongst everything else that was happening, Ogon responded "Then why don't you just be with her? I don't see what the problem is..."

Carissa

Carissa listened carefully to what was being said. For her, she recognized the value of witnessing the conversation from an objective point of view. However, here she was drew in to the conversation. Still there was a great value to be learned within the conversation. "So you believe that this lighter part of her is what draws you to having a mating relationship with her. Would you say that this lighter side is more like the attractions of a Poofer Fish during their mating cycle or something else?"

She understood that this 'lighter inside' was not meant to be taken literally, however she wanted to rule out something that she was missing apart of the mating practices of the Azgardian Warrior. She found the whole conversation enlightening and very interesting. The glimmer in her eyes was artificial however it did reflect her deeper desire to learn more about how he choose his mates. "I ran a comparison and found that Priestess Kira Furry, ranks much more compatible with you on a more broader scale, to include philosophical views. Jedi Master Angelique has a much lower compatible match to you. Do you feel that this lighter parts inside was part of your choose in choosing her over Priestess Kira" Carissa explained.

NPC: Dr. Spoonie

The sounds outside the small lab where Carissa was studying Talon's armor and wounds drew everyone's attention from the conversation. Angel walked in to the medical bay ahead of Spoonie, two Azgardian guards carrying a stretcher. On the stretcher laid the body of a Pirate with one of Senni's swords extending from his chest. Angel waved to Birgr and the others, "Daz went to where Senni and Talon were fighting and found this body." The Azgardians laid the body on a bed next to Talon. The look of disgust on their face was clear but Spoonie nodded and thanked the warriors for carrying the body.

"I am sure of the cause of death, however, I know you want answers so I had the body brought here." he explained as the two warriors left the Med Bay.

Commander Birgr

Birgr looked at Spoonie, "All this does is solidify what we already know as well as return the other sword. Thank you anyway." He wanted to continue this conversation so he turned back to Carissa. "You think this is about mating. You see, True Born Azgardians, such as myself and the other Immortals, we are sterile; we cannot produce children unless we undergo an operation to do so." He shifted his position as he tried to come up with the words for what he wanted to say. "All I know is that when she is around, I feel a bit happier. When the priestess is around, I simply know I have a damn good warrior at my side; as I do with any other of my Immortals." He turned his head to look at Angel with a sparkle in his eye. He was glad that she showed up for this discussion because he figured that she may shine some light on it...for Birgr as well as Carissa.

NPC: Dr. Spoonie

Spoonie nodded, "yes I am sure. However Master Murl insisted on it." Looking back towards the door, "I believe he is right behind us." Confused about the lack of Master Murl, "he said he would be joining us." Shrugging it off and walked the sword over to Carissa. "I think Master Murl means to conduct this as an official investigation" he explained. As he handed the sword over to Carissa, "please collect what data you can from this weapon."

Carissa

Taking the sword and glancing toward Birgr. She knew that this matter was clearly an Azgardian matter and waited for Birgr, the ranking Azgardian to weigh in on the instructions. For her, the matter was simple. Collect the data, prove the case one way or the other. End any further doubt about the issue. It was a purely logical and scientific method. Something that she found most if not all of her companions were incapible of doing. Even still, simply looking at the weapon, she would tell that it was nearly identical to the first one she looked at. She noted no damage along the length of the blade that matched the scope of damage to Talon's combat suite. She also noted the weapon's tip had been broken as if forced in to a harder object. She surmised the harder object was the space suite of the pirate, who was now laying on the bed next to Talon.

Carissa nodded as she took the weapon and while looking at Birgr, "so, your reason for being in a relationship serves no real purpose other than to increase the levels of stimulants within your body's blood stream? The risk of personal emotional suffering is very great and the rewards simply don't seem very fulfilling if mating is taken out of the situation. It is a confusing matter" she said softly while holding the sword.

Master Heartman

Angel walked into the med bay helping to escort the body of the pirate. She looked at the disgust looks on the Azgards faces as the place the dead body on the bed next to talons.

She felt uncomfortable for a dead body being close to her sister's. But she knew Spoonie had his reasons. She watched as the other Azgards left after Spoonie thanked them.

Then she looks over at her sister for a moment, She hope deeply she would make it though. She planed after they get the people off of Merissa. She would make some more time to see her sister. She heard rumor that coma patents can hear people. Maybe her support would help her sister to recover.

Listening to the conversation at hand with Bigir and Carissa. Thinking to herself 'What did I just walk into.' As she blushes slightly. Then she watches as Carissa start to work on dead body. While her mind tried to pull something together to reply with.

Expressing herself she found at times was difficult to do. She knew how she felt when she was around Bigir, she didn't want to worried about attachment's. He always brought her happiness. But she didn't want to fall down the wrong path. She wasn't sure what her path at the moment was and knew she would figure it out.

She thinks for a moment. "Mating isn't everything in life sometimes just being with the person you love matters. As long as you have that person you can hold and be there for and who is there for you as well. Then that's what part of being in a relationship is about.” She said blushing slightly again.

Captain Koo'Lak

Ogon furrowed his brow. "So...tell me again why you two aren't "in a relationship"? You seem to be at least attempting to support one another anyway, but I think you're being held back by all this 'don't form attachments' malarkey. I understand where Visst and Daz are coming from with it, but I feel you're being a little too literal. As long as you keep being realistic and don't get trapped up in that romantic BS, you'll be fine. Just remember that anything can happen to us, so you may end up separated. Appreciate each other, but don't let it affect your judgement. After all, the danger of attachment lies in its ability to make us do stupid things, am I right?"

Though this all sounded like it came from nowhere, Ogon had actually had to confront his own attachments many times in the past. Being a spacer from the fringes, becoming accustomed to the loss of physical objects was a necessity. After becoming an Antarian Ranger, he had to learn to deal with the loss of people, too. It helped that he'd never formed a proper romantic bond until he met Carissa, but that was little consolation in the end. Every time he lost someone, it hurt him deeply, but he knew he couldn't change what had already happened, so he was able to move on. He hoped the younger Azgardians would gain some level of this understanding from what he'd said.

Commander Birgr

Birgr disliked the idea of the Jedi meddling in Azgardian affairs...least of all Daz. He turned to Spoonie. "An official investigation won't be needed. This is an Azgardian affair and it has already been resolved. Captain Ogon and I have found Senni innocent." He realized that saying all this to Spoonie was rather pointless. "I'm sure we will have to take that up with Daz." As Birgr listened to Ogon he tried to mull over what he meant. It sounded similar to the the Azgardian ideal that no warrior is above another. He still wasn't completely sure so he just shrugged his shoulders.

Master Heartman

Angel stands there for a moment thinking about what Ogone just said about not getting to wrap up with this attachment thing. Maybe he had a point, thinking over her past she had only one flaw with her attachment's and that was following Daz around. It had almost lead her to a very dark tunnel where it would had been very hard to turn back.

She thinks for a moment. “You have a point. I felt more in balance when I was learning the path of a duelist and trying to restore my honor. Before this new change. But I cant just leave the order yet I have to help out Daz on Merissa.

She quickly finishes her sentence before questions was asked. “I also know Visst needs me in his new order.” She watches Carissa for a moment watching her work. As she thinks carefully how to word her feelings and thoughts on this matter.

“I will be taking another path in the near future. When things are good and Visst has more members in his order then three. Leaving right now will only weaken the order as a whole. But I can have some attachments as long as I don't let it get to my head. Besides it doesn't hurt to have some that are harmless.”

She said smiling now looking at her down at sister laying on the bed. Her attachment for her sister was strong. If she would lose her now or years to come, it would hurt her emotionally but nothing she could cope over time with. But she wouldn't let her sister's death get to her head. Then she turns to Birgr “So about the whole no attachment's let just drop it, but not get careless with in our self's where we become blind to our surroundings.”

Warlord Fiolla (AKA Talon)

As Angel was looking down at her sister, Talon slowly opened her eyes. Angel nearly jolted from the surprise as Talon grabbed her hand, “Senni!” Talon tried to get out in a labored voice and concern on her face.

NPC: Dr. Spoonie

Spoonie stepped forward and placed a branch on Talon's arm gently, “Shhhhh” he said with great care, “Senni is fine. What do you remember?” he said carefully looking in to her eyes.

Warlord Fiolla (AKA Talon)

Talon looked around in confusion as she tried to sit up, “On the hull, near the aft of the ship. I got hit by something. I heard a rushing sound. I remember not being able to breath. I think I was laying down. I looked up to see Senni hooking something in to my suite. I hear something over the radio but I couldn't make it out. There was so much rushing in my ears” she explained softly. “I recall seeing the shuttle coming in as Senni started to lay atop of me. The rushing was getting lower and there was an alarm. Uh, um, I think it was a low oxygen alarm. I pulled the cable that joined Senni and I off and remember letting it go. I didn't want her to die for me” Talon finished as she laid back down.

Spoonie nodded as he looked over at Ogon and then to Birgr. Before anyone could speak, Talon looked over to Birgr, "I saw Valhalla. Warlord Raynar, Warlord Ton. All of them were there welcoming me. Birgr, we have lost our way. Our fathers and mothers have their concerns about our future” she explained with a sense of urgency.

NPC: Dr. Spoonie

Spoonie nodded, “You need your rest Talon. Please calm yourself”

Warlord Fiolla (AKA Talon)

Talon shook her head, “No, I have had enough rest. Birgr, we have so much ahead of us” she tried to explain while attempting to sit up.

Master Murl

Daz maintained a moderate yet steady pace, taking time to reflect on his encounter with Lysire as he made his way through the corridors of the generation ship. After Malcolm had set down in the hangar bay, Daz found Spoony, the ship's doctor, waiting there as he requested to oversee the transport of a body to the med bay so that a thorough autopsy could be conducted.

The pirate's impaled corpse had been recovered near the aft of the generation ship's hull. Under Spoony's supervision, two Azgardian Immortals detached it from the starfighter, placed it on a stretcher, and swiftly departed with it toward the med bay with Spoonie and Angel in tow.

Now just a few minutes before reaching the med bay himself, Daz's comlink chirped. He watched the two Immortals who had left carrying the body to the med bay pass him single file to his left before he removed it from his belt and read the message Swip had just sent him. "Daz?" she said.

"Yes?" he replied.

Jedi Knight Swip Larn

"May I see Senni?" she wrote back.

Master Murl

Guessing that Swip had awoken to the news of his tumultuous meeting with Senni as word spread, he sent her the message, "Wait for me," and, returning his comlink to his belt, continued to the med bay.

Now in earshot, he overheard Angel discussing her future within the Jedi Order and her latest thoughts about attachments. As he stopped to ascertain who was present, he was surprised to hear Talon's voice cry out for Senni. As Spoonie tried to calm her, he started toward the door, quickening his pace. Although he was relieved to hear her voice, he was wary of her ardent fervor. As he entered the med bay, Daz could see that Birgr and Carissa were also present.

Entering the med bay, Daz addressed Talon. "Welcome back to the land of the living," he said. His comlink chirped once more. Shaking his head at the timing, Daz retrieved it from his belt and pressed down on it, answering the call. Before he could say anything, Swip's voice came through in a measured though urgent tone.

Jedi Knight Swip Larn

"I sense a dark presence; it involves Senni," she said.

Master Murl

"I told you to wait for me. I'm leaving immediately," he replied, already turning on his heels and making his way toward Senni's quarters.
