Tesara does farseeing 5/28/21
Tesara has been on edge since leaving the royal market.  So much had happened in such a short amount of time, and her mind was a whirlwind.  It had shocked her how Reine had behaved.  She had seen hints that the girl had little self control and that she was a bit vocal on her ideas, but Tesara had never believed she would have done what she did.  First screaming at Ava in the air taxi like an exploding child, then shouting and stomping at the security guard in the store. The entire thing was surreal! Ava had purchased clothing and other items for Reine and the girl hadn't even bothered to thank her! Tesara had been stunned at how Reine had treated those around her.  Was it a good idea to continue on with her as a part of their group?  She knew she couldn't trust Reine to keep herself together, and she couldn't trust Nova to tell the entire truth.  She knew she could trust Kaleb.  Durro, of course. Ava, of course. Lysire, when she was not affected by the darkness within her, of course. Tesara trusted Lysire, but not that being...whatever it was.  Sinya, no, not after what happened on that transport ship with all those innocent lives aboard. Sinya wouldn't lie to her face, and she was firm in her convictions and what she believed.  And then there had been Dominique, who told them about the camps. Tesara had had no idea they existed, and it made her sick and angry. She knew that Queen Delphinium would never have allowed such an atrocity to occur to her people, but the Queen had been efficiently and completely removed from power and shoved away in a corner under guards of the man she had loved.  And they had no idea.  Her son...Angel be thanks, her son had survived.  But...what to DO about all of it? Tesara had gone to the room she shared with Durro and sat upon her bed.  She was going to try and find out.
She closed her eyes and began the meditation that both her mother and Durro had taught her, both in different ways of course. She settled into the flow of the force and began to seek information.  She could feel the room growing warmer, yet not uncomfortably so.  The light beyond her eyelids flickered and she sensed a presence around her. It was familiar.  She waited until it had settled before her, much like a friend coming to tea.  She had never seen this being, nor asked its name.  It was a spirit, or many spirits.  She knew she could trust it/them.  She had been doing this all her life.

Where is my place in the future of this planet?  Has the Path, the Guardian of the Angel, been replaced?  Is even now that being moving to help these people?  If not, why not?  Am I to assist him or her?  How can I reveal that the comforting lies that this new government tells ARE lies?  How can I help?  Sinya is right, I cannot stand aside and do nothing.  But I do not know where to begin.  Help me. Show me where to begin to be an agent of the light, of truth.  Guide me, show me, Spirits.

“SunCo and its Global Partners would like to welcome you to Baklid, Coruscant of the Outer Rim!”

The loud announcement came from the massive cruise ship as it started to land in a huge lake. For as far as the eyes could see, large shinning skyscrapers touched the clouds. Six enormous cruise ships of various sizes were all moored at large docks along the lake side. The latest arrival slowed down as it made a soft landing in the waters of the lake. From its exposed deck, hundreds of tourists can be seen waving and celebrating their arrival to the Resort Planet.

The sounds of music filled the air as elegantly dressed tourists moved about the clean walkways of the shopping district. “Remember before you board, make sure to get your Duty-Free Stamps at any one of our friendly Customs Stand.” A recording said over loudspeakers. Massive cranes moved gangways into position so that the tourists can disembark.

Local performers sing and help tourists dance before large stages. “Just over a decade ago, Baklid was filled with war and suffering. Now, you can see how wonderful this jewel of the Outer Rim really is. Thanks to Core World investors like SunCo, Baklid has made an incredible recovery.”

Native items like masks, woven works of art and other local items are sold to the hordes of tourists. A little girl speaks with excitement, “Mommy, I want this one!”

The salesperson speaks in perfect Galactic Basic. “Ah, a fine selection!  It’s from our Lady Ava Forma Collection.”

“Mommy, can we see if Lady Forma is here?” she said bouncing. “Please??”
As the vision shifts and moves, a place comes into view. Flowers and orange petals line the small stone entrance. Behind an iron gate, small candles in red cups light up a hologram of Alizee. A group of mourners offer prayers to the small shrine. Under the hologram, 0951-0974.  A person near the shrine is mourning, tears in her eyes.  “She was the best of us."

Far beyond the lights, sounds and smells of the tourist area, a large ship hangs low over a valley. Its massive doors open as hundreds of tons of trash fall into the valley below. Through the clouds, the lush green mountains appear dead and barren. Equally tall mountains of trash have piled up, filling the valleys below. From the distance, ants appear to crawl over the trash. Moving in closer, the ants are people scavenging for food. A pair of men fight over a shirt, one is killed. A mother holds her child, trying to encourage it to feed.  Her face is hauntingly familiar. Her bones show through her thin skin, her face is haggard and worn. A group of children run behind her through the trash as they continue to forage for food, shouting and calling when they find a morsel that no dog would eat.

Tesara falls backwards on the bed, reeling from the vision.  She cries out, rolls over and hits the floor, running as fast as she is able to the bathroom.  She barely makes it to the indoor plumbing before all the contents of her stomach exit violently.  Shuddering, she falls to her knees.  What she has just seen is enough to make her want to release a wail of pain and horror, but she clamps her jaw down on it, knowing that such a sound would raise alarm.  She presses her forehead to the tile floor, tears flowing down her face.  All of her questions had not been answered, but one had.
Where is my place in the future of this planet?
The answer had been painfully clear.  She wasn't on Baklid when this was happening.  This is what WOULD happen if she stood by and did nothing.  She curled her fingers into fists, feeling her nails digging into her palms.  She couldn't let that happen.  She gave herself only a moment or two more of shivering nausea before sitting up and resting on her heels.  It was a position she was familiar with - one Durro had taught her.  She closed her eyes and began to think.  Where do I even start?
This time, there were no answers.
