Astra sat in the window of there room looking out across the small town. It was peaceful here though she was unable to settle and relax. Master Thel-Thanis did not understand. His statement about her not being a jedi was unaware and uncalled for. But he did not know what she had gone throw. Why is did she not like being here in this place especially without her lightsaber. She shook her head ideal playing with her bracelet. She would waght for him to finish meditating befor she told him. It was not his falt he could not have known how much his statement had shaken or bothered her.

(((OOC: I forgot to inform @TheTraveler before we all parted last night; I want Durro to farsee as his meditation. Processing the information he has gathered and following the flow/current of the Force to ensure he is still on the 'right path.' I will post the results of a roll with this post.)))
Upon finishing his meditation, Durro rises and returns his teapot to his bag, wrapped in its protective cloth. He walks up behind Astra, staring out the window, and says;
"It's a lovely night. Though I suppose, every night is lovely down here. It's so easy to forget we're kilometers underground."

Astra tilts her head back to look at him. " Yes I sapose so Master. Master what do you know of the Jedi order here?" She asked.

Astra smiles and shakes her head " That explains a lot" she said. She looked back out the window. " master only Nobal born Children become jedi Knights... I had to fight to be taken seriously... and even then had Lord Sereno not adopted me I would not be a padawan." She said.

"I see. How many Jedi are there, then? Where I'm from, at the start of the Clone Wars, the Jedi were ten thousand strong. Are they less here?"

" Not exactly a no noble child could be adopted into one of the Nobel families like I was. It is a pretty normal practice for most families. Though there a rules for that and the competition to get adopted is well let's just say it's difficult. Those who don't make it usually get sent to the jedi corps. Not all Nobles make it as far as the gathering either there's only so many that get to go. Each family has so many preset spaces on that trip." She looked back at him. Wondering if he was understanding her or if he would be just as confused as Tesara when she had tried to explain it to her.

Astra thought about it. "well master there are academy's acroases the galaxy and of those only the top so many students make the cut for the crystaling. So in a way yes I guess there is. But there are still thousands of Jedi knights Iv seen so many at the Gladius they usually attended to look for the best students. " she said.

" I know master, I got Laughed at for wanting to be a Jedi, So to hear you accused me of not being one well that hurt a lot more then I would like to admit. All I know of starlight before coming her with you is that its a very dangerous prion. Master iv been in dangerous situations but the were never truly dangerous I had my Master and Sol to protect me if I got into a situation I could not handle, witch I did and got Both myself and Sol into trouble for it more then once" she giggled. posing for a moment trying to maser her words carefully. " Even after seeing this place a part of me still feels its Dangerous I don't like not being able to defend myself. There's also the problem the the ghost taking over the way they do. its not ok for them to do that and yet I'm powerless to stop them" She said shaking her head.

"I never said you weren't a Jedi, in fact I said you are and can be one even without your lightsaber. As for being defenseless, you're anything but."
Durro gestures out to a pair of patrolmen on beat, they seem to be chatting amongst themselves, though nothing is heard at this distance.
"Notice even the security forces are armed with nothing but a plucky attitude and a communication device. Nobody is armed here, which means you're unlikely to face a weapon, even if you are attacked. Even better than that; your ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. The Jedi use the Force for knowledge and defense, which means ending fights before they begin. A listening ear here, a soothing presence there, a soft word uttered at just the right moment can smooth over any conflict with greater effect than subduing your enemy through force of arms. It goes back to what I was saying earlier, that by carrying a weapon we are more likely to decide to fight. It's the main reason I carry my lightsaber in my bag, where it's a little harder to access, rather than hanging on my belt."
He sighs and continues softly, in an understanding tone;
"I understand the feeling of defenselessness, I always felt the same when disarmed as a youth. It's not something you can decide to feel or agree with, but something you must learn for yourself; or rather, to un-learn. I hope all Jedi come to understand; as long as you can touch the Force, feel its guidance and borrow its power, then you're never defenseless."
"That, more than carrying a lightsaber, is what makes a Jedi a Jedi."

Astra turned to stare at him only to fall from the window sill and landed on the floor in front of him. She burst into a fit of giggles." Well that was embarrassing" She giggled getting to her feet quickly. " So what your saying is what I am feeling is normal and a part of the learning process. How often were you disarmed in your youth Did you get into trouble often too." She asked starting to calm down though she felt a little dumb for miss understanding his earlier stamen. " Your right about the force It amperes I have a great deal to learn still, I would love to know more about the Jedi order your from, do you miss your family, and your master?" she asked.

Durro simply raises an eyebrow at Astra when she falls, but otherwise doesn't react. In answer to her question, he says;
"There were times, like now, that I was without my lightsaber for social or political reasons. I only lost my lightsaber once during the War, and I was unsure I'd be able to get it back. In those instances, I did feel bare, like a part of me was missing. It's the one attachment the Jedi encourage, even if they don't admit it."
"I wasn't in trouble too often; though I did see my fair share." he smiles and continues. "I was the one who'd come up with the idea, even plan the execution, then shield myself from blame if things went wrong. It earned me a lot of enemies as a youngling. The main reason I'd get in trouble when I did was for fighting. There was one student, a Falleen, who was a particular piece of work. He was a few years older than I, a hair faster and a hair stronger, though I was a hair more skilled with the blade." Durro said with a wink. "24 official duels, and countless impromptu ones. I never lost to him. Not 1-on-1, anyway; there were times his squad would gang up on me, then it was either run or take a beating." His expression changes, becomes darker and a little harder, as he continues in a low voice. "He was brutal; which is probably how Vader turned him. My last meeting with him was just like all the others. We faced off on Tython, just after Tesara had used the Seeing Stone. He answered her call with a dozen stormtroopers, a trap which we escape by working together. He tried to stop us, charging us with his spinning blade. Like all the other times, he was beaten. Unlike the other times; the duel was to the death."
After an awkward moment of silence, he shakes his head.
"To answer your last question; I can't say I miss anyone. That was a lifetime ago; everyone and everything I knew is dead. As I tell Tesara, if you focus too much on the past or the future, you miss the present which is the only thing you can affect."

Astra lesioned quietly. " I see that's sad. you know master I don't think anyone turns to the dark side intentionally. Perhaps something happened that lead him to give up on the Light side. Your stament is not entirely correct master What we do now can affect the future its like a river what happens upstream can lead to effects down ... Who is Vader? " She said having trailed off as it hit her she had never heard that name before.

"Oh, I agree; I don't blame Vader for his turn. He already skirted the edge, flirted with the darkness. The destruction of the Jedi and Vader's temptations only gave him reason to give in to what was already there."
He thinks for a moment before continuing. "Who Vader is, or was, I'm not sure how to think of that universe; is a long story. Once I'm afraid I don't have the time or patience to tell." He smiles. "As for the future, answer me this: in all your worrying about your visions, have you changed a single thing?"

Durro gives her a kind, but pointed look.
"My point is, even if our actions have a ripple effect on the future, such effect is impossible to predict. Only here, in the present, are our actions most potent. Only here and now can we see clearly the consequences of our actions. There are an infinite number of possibilities; infinite 'what ifs.' If you choose to always look away to the future, you'll lose sight of what's here and now. Focus your attention on the present, and the future will take care of itself."

Astra nodded " you know that makes so much sense like more sence. The jedi of my order usuly say we try not to look into the future until they find out im a seer. In which case they act surprised or encourage me to learn to be a seer. I never understood that" she said shrugging.

"Honestly, nor do I." Durro says. "The longer I live the more I realize that we have very little control over the universe around us. The sooner we give up the illusion of control, the sooner we can learn to live in harmony with the Force and the universe around us."
"As for your gift, you can see the future easier than most and more accurately. Though I'm sure you already understand, such knowledge is more often a curse than a blessing."

"To see what will happen, what sometimes must happen, and be unable to stop or alter it is not a burden I would wish to bear." Durro says. "Knowledge is often a curse but without it, we stumble blindly."
He smiles at her.
"Those who learn, those who know, must have extraordinary will to not succumb to the burden. You've been given your ability for a reason. I don't claim to know the reason, but I trust it will become apparent with time."
He rises from where he had taken a seat, and moves towards the far bed; closest to the door.
"Meanwhile, we should get some rest. We've a long day ahead of us tomorrow. We'll see what we can learn about Sinya, and that will inform our next move."
