Mordecai Noonia was a remarkably unremarkable young man for most of his life. Slight of build with pale skin and reddish mop of unruly hair, it wasn't until much later when he discovered an affinity for all things non-organic. Taking things apart and putting them back together caused its fair shares of troubles, as power packs don't often comply with such shenanigans. It gave the future star-fleet engineer a flexibility however, as things that explode accidentally can be encouraged to do so deliberately.
Star-fleet had it's own shares of trials and tribulations. Fitting in always seems to be harder than naught, keeping to oneself having the advantage of appearing mysterious when really you felt adrift. Physically and mentally competent to appear beneficial,Lt. Noonia found quite early in his career that allowing others to assume you were average gave you more chances to shine. Lt. Noonia was servicing the Academy during the Breen Attack on Earth, which garnered him quite a bit of personal experience. Losing a good friend in the name of Michael Brown during the attack left him personally withdrawn from socializing with others. Later on, graduating as Salutatorian of the Academy of his particular year, Lt. Noonia opted for a Science Vessel called the USS Potluck to apply his skills.
After a brief but rich experience with the Nebula Class USS Potluck. A Workhorse class Miranda Science Vessel, Lt. Noonia enjoyed a fairly uneventful but educational tour. Warp Engine Modification allowed a .001 efficiency increase of power to thrust ratio. His modification was applied across the board of ships to great effect, and mild commendation. Lt. Noonia then requested to transfer to the USS Thunderchild, wanting to sink his teeth into such a luxurious and prominent ship.
Personal Motto "Riding the waves of Mediocrity to success."
