Ava & Tesara Talk 7/6/21
Tesara returned from the academy with Astra and made sure that her friend and the baby were settled in. She was walking towards her room when she walked past a small study she’d seen before but never been in. The light was casting shadows on the wall and she recognized a fireplace had been lit. Glancing inside, she saw Ava sitting alone near the fireplace, a long gleaming sword in her hands. Her eyes were focused on the sword as she cleaned and polished it. Tesara paused for a moment, unsure if she should interrupt.“That’s a beautiful sword.” She said quietly. If she stood here in the doorway, she could gracefully continue on her way and leave if Ava wished it, or enter the room if Ava asked her to come in.

Ava looked up from the sword she was cleaning and polishing. As she pause as give Tesara a soft smile. " thank you , please come in " as she makes a gesture to an empty seat. She waited for Tesara to sit down.

The sword she was holding was slender and sharply-pointed two-edged blade on the blade itself was some type of engraving etched onto it. With a black complex looking hilt. It was known as a rapier. She give a soft smile " its been hanging on my wall a long time ago. Well it feels like it, durro was treating me the proper teachings on how to duel. I was practicing every morning til the last time departed for the resort. At the time it felt unnecessary to bring with me. Than after that I stopped thinking about it so it just stayed where it was. As she rose up and walked over slowly giving Tesara a closer look while holding it with both hands out right. So Tesara could take the blade if she wanted to.

Pleased, Tesara took it, testing the balance of the tang. It was beautifully made. Light but sharp and deceptively dangerous. “I like it.” She turned it this way and that, noting the patterns in the steel. “It’s so nice to see a piece of workmanship so lovingly made when so many things in this world are electronic.” She carefully grasped the blade and proffered it back with hilt towards Ava.

Ava motion to the engagement while Tesara held it it read: ' to my daughter ava, am so very proud of ' along the blade of the sword. Ava listened she wasn't sure who exactly had crafted the blade but she agreed with Tesara. As she took the sword carefully back and went back to her chair with it sitting back down. " am not exactly sure who made it, this sword was actually a gift from my father when I turned sixteen. He always doing simple things like that. Small little gifts every once in awhile to remind me he there for me even if he can't always be around. I missed him so much now atleast before all it would taken was a phone call to request to see him and it would been automatically granted. Me and my father always had a close bond. He was truly always there when I needed him. I know he would been proud though that I been doing just fine without him. " she softly spoke.

Tesara swallowed. She could hear the pain in Ava’s voice. “Then I am glad that the sword survived the jump through the black hole that brought us here so you have a reminder of him. I have a bow that my father purchased for me when vendors came from off world to our market. It’s very special to me so I know how you feel.” She smiled a little sadly. “I don’t know if we’ll ever see our families again.”

" I dont think we will, for me I know it wouldn't be so simple going back. I been declared dead by now and this planet needs me more than that unverise does. Here I can work on making Balkid a peaceful world agian. However I don't think carrying around a sword at this time would send the right message. I may dress the military style, but i want to present a image of soft power. Where my words and actions speak louder than threats and violence. " ava softly spoke.

" thank you Tesara. This whole thing of selling people into slaverly is horrifying. Apart of me wishes for a quicker path to take down the prime before he does more harm to Baklid. However we have to take the slow and steady path to make sure when we do take down the prime it is successful. I fear by the time I move into position will live me with years and years of working to undo the damage he has caused. " she softly spoke.

Tesara looked at the fire crackling in the hearth and thought about what Ava said. After a moment, she spoke. “ I cannot believe I am asking this…”. She leaned in and whispered in case there were any recording devices. “Are you still planning to take him out of office by poison or assassination?”

Ava lean back thinking about the last conversation that they had about the plans for the prime Minister. " I belive we agreed on making him disappear and put him into a coma and in carbonate. Cause him simply having a heart attack by eating the wrong thing wasn't fond over to well. Which I can understand why and was open to other options. " knowing there was but sun co was already aware of operation orange.

Ava looked into the fire knowing the matter was unsettling for Tesara. Unfortunately if he can make a reporter doing the camps disappear. He could make any moves to remove him from power the right way disappear if he discovers it. Hush money or simply do what he was doing now throwing anyone into camps. " Unfortunately the path we have to take is nessarasy to avoid becoming apart of the camps ourselves and sold or worst taken off world all together. Anyways how was your trip to the jedi temple? " wanting to hear about thire little adventure to chance topic.

At that, Tesara's face split into a wide grin. "I didn't think I was going to like it there at all, knowing what I know of the Jedi here, but...Oh, Ava! The LIBRARY! They had so much information there...I could have literally spent hours and hours lost in it all. As it was I was able to talk to lore masters! It was all wonderful. And Quinn and Astra got to spend some time alone with each other, with me still being nearby which made me feel better. I'm so damn protective of her." She smiled.
((OOC just as an FYI, that scene with Tesara in the library with Quinn and Astra is still being played, so right now player does not have more information on what she learned))

Ava listened the library actually sounded interesting. Though she knew she would probably never get a chance to poke around in her lifetime. She wanted to learn more about her force willing friends and allies. Maybe Tesara would tell her more in time but she wouldn't push it was just a curiosity. " a library now that is fascinating. " she giggled abit " oh well am glad I sent her your direct after all. After Astra's frist engagement with Quinn she wasn't sure which path she should take. Her heart and mind was going in two directs one that held a candle and one that saw something that could help her mend and love agian. " than nodded her head " yes I understand why, he's a hunter after all. One false move in the wrong direction and he could figure out everything. I hope she is careful however if she trust him than that means as long the force users in our little group don't shoot lighting we will be just fine " assuring Tesara. That as long they don't do anything to get on the list her and Astra would be just fine.

Tesara nodded. “I agree. But Astra would never do something so foolish. And although it was the extreme side of a bad decision, I don’t think that Reine realized what she was doing. Do you remember her reaction when we told her? She thought we were crazy and had no memory of it.” She sighed. “regardless, it does show that she has the capability to be dangerous as well as stubborn. I just wish she had the capacity to listen instead of only ever reacting loudly and angrily to everything that happens to her. Or is said to her or even near her.” Tesara glanced at Ava. “Do you have a plan for when they return from Baklid two?”

As Ava listened to Tesara's words her lips moved slightly like she wanted to say something. However she changed her mind as she put the sword to the side on a small table. Than stood up and walking over touching Tesara's hand softly " I hope your right, I admire how you can see the good in others. " though she had a feeling Reine knew exactly what she did. They could have different views of a person. Perhaps there was good in Reine though it would take her a long time til she could see it like Tesara did. Knowing Reine probably felt the same towards herself. " well in order to go down my current path it wouldn't be wise to be caught seen around her. Which will probably benefit us both if am keeping my distance from her. Since she's not to fond of me and I of her even after my apologies towards her. It probably be best for Astra as well since she sees her as a threat. I dont want Astra to fall into the same place as I ended up. " where she had became a target.

Tesara could tell that Ava was struggling. Her interactions with Reine had been the hardest out of everyone. All Ava had ever wanted to do was be friendly to the girl and had gotten nothing but vitriol. In fact, Reine wouldn’t even be here if Ava hadn’t offered to take her away from that village. “I have to admit, I was absolutely stunned at Reine’s reaction to meeting Astra. It was as if instantly she recognized that this girl would somehow usurp her place in this group. But how? She’s no older than Reine herself and has a baby! Why would Astra be a threat to her? It makes no sense! She just started going off about how would Astra know if she was the only heir to the Baklid throne. Do you think she knows something she’s not telling us? Nothing is adding up.” Tesara sighs. “I swore my loyalty to Astra and to you as well. If Reine makes a move against either one of you, I won’t have a choice but to react and protect you. But I really hope that doesn’t happen.”

Ava pulled her hand back and sat back down as she listened. " only a mere surveillance in her words and the agenda and actions that was taken. I found it strange how Reine came at Astra at frist sight her behavior and demeanor towards Astra was interesting. Specially when she started repeating the phrase how do you know there is not another. " she let the words linger for an moment. " indeed how would Reine know how to ask such a thing to a woman she just meant. Than her desired to see space and Baklid two. These a million planets she could seek out in the galaxy yet she picks the one Where it's a industrial wasteland of ships. " remembering the report she was given about the Baklid systems.
As she lean back thinking for an moment " yes I believe she did know something something that had to do with Baklid two. I was going to offer to accompany her hoping maybe by doing so it may open for an opportunity to bond in someway. However when we go Kaleb’s message that was when my theory became more sound. Why would they suddenly change the plan even after I sent the warning. Why would they so badly risk going to Balkid two unless there was indeed something there Reine desperately needed. Something she didnt wanted any of us to figure out. Why else would they had deviate from the original plan. They were supposed to go to Rotterdam get the chain codes and come straight back here. Not aquired a ship and head of to the planet on thire own with the hunters out there. " as she paused for an moment.
" I hope not as well, however it will be up to Reine which path she will take from here. To either try to mind all the bridges she's broken with myself and Astra or to go down the current path she's on "

Tesara sighed and nodded. “I want to believe that she’s just accustomed to getting her own way and would see that the best path to anything is to work WITH people and not against them. If they are caught by the hunters and she panics and does another Dark Side attack, then there’s nothing we can do for her. She’ll take Kaleb down with her. I’d like to think that Kaleb is a calming, steady presence in her life. One that will pull her back if she lets him. But if she doesn’t….” She paused then continued. “If she believes that she has some kind of claim to the throne of Baklid and she evades the hunters to return here, then we have a big problem. I know your intentions are to become Prime Minister in order to set things right again. And I know that that’s going to take a long time. So much damage has been done in such a short amount of time. But with Reine possibly having or finding proof of a claim on the throne and fighting against you it quadruples the complications. And I would hope that her intentions for peace on Baklid would be the same as yours, but she’s already established her unwillingness to listen to you or work with you. Together you could do so much, but I’ve never seen her willing to work in that direction alongside you. Only ever against you. And while your methods would take a long time, I fear that Reine’s methods would be faster and more brutal. It sounds to me based on what she has said in the past that she would rather everyone not a Baklid native be removed completely from Baklid. She calls them colonizers. She’s right. They are. But now there are also innocents amongst those colonizers.”

Ava listened if that was the case than Astra could be indeed be a threat if she tried to claim throne as well though she knew Astra had desire of such a thing as long as ava figure out a peace treaty with everyone that maybe the same goal that Astra had in mind. She would have to have another conversation and see exactly what her desires are knowing it had to do with her mothers wishes her mother had left her.
Tesara had a point her and Reine would work remarkably together and if things hadn't went this far and started out more smoothly it would be Reine she would be moving into proposition as prime minister. Knowing once that was taken Reine could renamed herself. It would be wise to keep Balkid as a democracy. However the choice would been hers to make. She took an moment to think about how that outcome would been like. Than sighed softly it felt more than a fantasy now.
" unless the bridge is mended i fear i know i will find myself opposing her. If I step aside hoping that she would go straight for the prime only to fail i would be a fool. She would have to deal with the jedi frist in one faction or another. Than once the jedi were handled she would have to use handled the secert police or possibly. I dont belive they work for the prime but they have thire own agenda. Its something I was going to handled once I was prime was removing them. Than after the secert police she would have to use Kalebs skills or wait til the right opportunity to take out the prime. Than she would have to fight her way into power though if she's an hire to the thrown maybe just proving her blood line will get them to bow down. However knowing the prime minister he wouldn't probably be so kind to step down. Either way she would have to take care of him. I dont want to see Astra's vision come to light with the jedi gone. With darkness consuming Balkid. It will be up to Reine to make the right choice. "

“Very well said, my lady.” Tesara was proud of Ava and pleased at her skills of being able to see everything coming clearly. “Oh!” She sat up, remembering. “ Did you speak to the executive team about what the Prime Minister said? The money and the thing with Alizee?”

Ava titled her head when Tesara said my lady maybe she was doing it just incase there was cameras. She could see she was indeed proud of her.
Ava give a nod " indeed and everything has been taken care of including..... " giving a face of disgust. " settling the red tape as well. " not looking to please about that. She knew exactly what the prime minister was doing.
" you can let Alizee know Lady Loran will be attending and I will uphold my end of the arrangement. She will be treated as if she was a dear friend of mine when I grace her presence on the stage. "

Tesara watched Ava leave. There was a cloud of sadness hanging over Ava, but Tesara knew there was more to it than just Reine. She got up and headed for her room to prepare for another meeting with Alizee.
