Astra set in the empty hallway that was once her prison. At her feet two dead guards lay. Their blood crossing the metal floor like some vast deep red lake, slowly reaching for distant shores. The smells of the most recent life or death struggle hug in the air like a dark specter. On the other side of the bodies, Sol stood with a deep frown on his face.
"Astra," he said softly. "What've you done?" There was shock and horror in his voice.

" I-i didn't he was," she said tears streaked her face as she was horrified by what had transpired. " Sol I did not intend to fight them. I had no choice I wanted to surrender when that caught me but he was insistent on killing me. I - I let Ashanti take control and now she has locked me out" she said quietly.
" this is all my falt Sol four people are now dead because of me" She said dropping her head.

He nodded, "it is all your fault. You always had a choice Astra." There was clear anger in his voice. "From the very beginning you had a choice." He stepped over the bodies and gazed down at her. "Astra, this is what I was trained to Hunt down and destroy. What you have done is against my very being."
The disappointment in his eyes was clear and they cut through her, "Astra, how could you?"

" I don't know Sol. I never meant for this to happen" She said. She did not meet his eyes or run. Tears streaked her face her escape had failed and she made the wrong choice. " and where we're you when I needed you? If it had not been for Ashanti I would be dead and you daughter would be all alone. Is that what you want Sol" She asked quietly.

Sol lowered himself next to her, "I am always here with you. Simply cause you can't see me, doesn't mean I am not where." He touched her hair, "Astra, that has always been your problem. You want everyone else to solve your problems instead of solving them yourself."
He drew in a deep breath, "do you think I would rather my daughter to be raised by a woman corrupted by the darkside?"

" Sol I tried to get free without violence it I was unable to do it." She tries to turn away. Knowing she had messed up. " I don't need anyone to solve my problems for me. And do you think I will remain corrupted I have seen it dark siders in starlight were able to come back from worse. I'm not sure how I will but I know it can be done" she said quietly.

Sol leaned back, "I know you don't need anyone to solve your problems. You never have, yet you always seek others to tell you what to do, how to act and in this case, let them fight your battles for you."
He looked over the death, "you started this without knowing fully what the area was like. You rushed yourself in to a situation that you couldn't control and then gave up to the darkness the moment your life was threatened."
He frowned deeply, "it doesn't matter what you do with the corruption within you. It is a stain on your heart that can never be cleansed and you know it. Soon, everyone will know it."

Astra turned. " Then I will stay away from Roza. It was my own decision that lead me down this path. I'm sorry Sol I failed and now I can not even protect your child. " Astra said quietly.

His frown didn't shift, "and yet again giving up and letting someone else solve your problems, Astra." His voice was pointed and filled with distain. As if answering the question on her face, "you need to stop making excuses and stop trying to rush everything. Listen, see, be calm and learn to wait!"

She started at him. " you just said you did not want someone who was corrupted to raise Roza. What the hell do you want Sol" her voice shook as she tried not to yell or get frustrated with him. " are you even Sol. The Sol I know would not be treating me like this. We have never fought like this. Yes, I made a mistake I rushed forward without thinking. If you are angry with me for it then fine I understand but this is not helping I need to get control back from Ashanti. I have not always been like this and you dam well know that Sol. I got into trouble and in situations, I could not handle more than once, and thank the force you or Lord sereno were there to rescue me. But you were not there to save me, Sol. I had to find a way to save myself. I never meant to get into a fight but it happens and I can not change the past all I can do is learn from it and try not to make I dumb choice like that again" Astra said calmly.

He nodded, "I am angry with you. And you're right, you did make a dumb choice by rushing in to something you didn't fully know."
He moved forward slightly, "and we haven't fought like this before. But you never crossed this line before."
He motioned around himself, "I was there and you were given all the help you needed. And in fact you were given more then enough help. You simply choose wrong." Once more, his frown hung on his face. "I won't, I can't let you forget this."
"As for Ashanti," he added. "You surrendered to her. There is no taking it back until she is weaker. You will get back control, that is assured. Now what is happening when you get that back, I can't tell you."

" you think I could ever forget this Sol. Do you even know me? You know dam well how much I hate hurting other people. Do you really think I will ever forgive myself for this" she asked him.
" So I get to sit here with you until I get control back. Then what will you be whispering in my ear about how angry you are with me for the rest of my life. Sol don't let my bad choice twist you." She said calmly.

He shook his head, "you don't get it Astra. I am not twisted and you are not looking at the cause of what happened," he said softening his voice.
"Astra, your desire to not hurt people was in direct conflict with the situation you were in. If you desired not to hurt anyone, you should have remained in your cell and waited for Durro to rescue you," he explained.
He motioned to the bodies, "you think this happened only because you let Ashanti take control. You fail to realize that it was your decision to escape which caused it. Did you really not consider that conflict was highly probable during your escape?"
He shifted and set down next to her, "this is why I am disappointed with you. You started something you knew in your heart you wouldn't be able to finish. And so you call upon the darkness to solve your problem instead of trusting in yourself."
"If you had died, then you would have died. You let fear drive your actions and worse Astra, you allowed your fear to silence me and force me from guiding you," he said softly.

As Sol seemed to settle down Astra calmed down a bit. She shut her eyes and took a few deep breaths. Befor looking at Sol.
" I did not know that Master would rescue me. Well yes I know I could not kill thoughts men even if I had to. I was not willing to sit around and let them." Her voice broke. She shut her eyes and took another deep breath.
" you are right Sol I did let fear dictate my actions. I did not know it could silence you like that I was wondering where you went. I thought maby you had left because of what happened with Master Moore. " she said quietly. She finally sat down next to him.

Sol shook his head, "no I wanted to stop you. I wanted to warn you, but your mind had made its choice and it was only a matter of time till you followed along."
"There were so many ways you could have gone, but you didn't. There is nothing wrong with defending yourself, even if it means having to take a life. But nothing is worth giving in to the Darkness. Not even a future with Roza," Sol explained. He rested his arm around her in a loving embrace.

" But Sol taking a life feels wrong and it hurts. I never want to do that again Sol. I don't want to fall to the dark side. I'm not sure I can stop that now that I have given into it once" she said quietly.

Sol nodded, "you are the only one who can speak on that."
He let out a long sigh, "you have toched darkness. The Hunters will all know. They always know."
He looked at her with sad eyes, "what happens next will be completely up to you." He fell silent for a moment. "You have chosen a path that has taken you away from everything we have desired, dreamt of, worked for. From everything I held dear."

" so there is still a chance," she said quietly. Looking hopeful for a brief moment. That, however, was quickly replaced with sadness.
" I know, and if they catch me they will take me to star light," she said.
" did you see what they did to my mother Sol. Did you know they could strip people of there connection to the force or that they put people in carbon night" she asked. She shook her head. " I will not return to that order I have decided to join Master Thel-Tanis though I don't know if he will still want to train me after this" she said quietly.

He looked at her with sadness, "so you will walk away from everything that makes us who we are. You will throw away all that we worked for."
He motioned to his Hunter uniform, "this is who we are Astra. This is what we have trained for. Now you are ready to just walk away."

" Sol, can you see there are things wrong with the consent order? Do you enjoy hunting down Darksiders harming people and spreading fear and darkness across the Galaxy" she asked.

"Astra, we only spread fear to those who pursue the darkside," he said calmly.
"The Order has protected the galaxy for almost a thousand years. The Order gave you a life when no one would. They gave you an education. Lord Serrano had faith in you when no one would."
His eyes went wide with shock, "you are ready to just to walk away."

Astra shook her head. " Sol have you not been following me all this time or are you blind to what is right in front of you. I'll still be a jedi im simply choosing a different path. Sol, I can't be a hunter and you know that you have always known that. Yes, they gave me a better life thanks to Lord Sereno. A life I was never meant to live. Need I remind you my grandfather tried to murder me befor I was born. I am thankful for that life but it is time for me to choose my path. And right now that's tracking down the swarm, and being Master Thel-Thanis' apprentice. I do believe Lord Sereno would approve or I hope he would" she said.

Watched you turn your back on your people and your family on Baklid and now you are turning your back on everything I have stood for." He turned to her, "all that you fought for, you are giving up on."

Astra shook her head. " No Sol im not giving up do you know how hard this choice was to make. As for Roza and Baklid, I did not intend to be gone for as long as I have been. I'm been told by Ava to stay away from there for now. Then there are these visions Sol the force is leading me into the unknown regions and I believe Master Thel-Tanis is right about the order and what the Jedi should be. We are spreading fear and fighting a stupid war amounts ourselves when we should be maintaining balance, peace and shaving the will of the force" She said gently.

Sol shook his head, "you really believe that in protecting innocent lives is spreading fear? How do you know that Master Thel-Tanis is telling you the truth?"
He moved an arm around her, "I know that this decision is hard, which is why you have to get it right. You can't just go off and change your entire life based half truths and misconceptions."
"You have to be sure of what you are doing," he frowned, "do you really think that Master Thel-Tanis will let you teach Roze after this?"

"Well I will lesion and learn for now Sol there's something I need to learn about" She said.

" As for Roza Master Thel-Tanis does not get a say she is our child, not his" Astra said and leaned against Sol.
" I know this bothers you Sol but. I have to do this im not sure why but sumthing tells me I need to go to the unknown regions and hunt down the sworm with master and Tesara" She said quietly.

Sol shook his head, "its not hard for me." In the distance Astra could hear screaming and conflict. "I know you must fallow the Force," he rested a hand on her shoulder. "I want you to make the right choices because its what you want," he explained. The sounds of combat sounded like they were a distant memory to Astra.
"Remember what you were taught in school. We must always heed the Will of the Force. Do what we know is right even if we don't truly like it," he said softly.

Aztra nodded and leand against him. " Thank you I love you Sol, the force is drawing me to the u known regions with Master Thel-Tanis and I do believe he's the right Master as much as I don't like Leaveing Roza with Ava I know this is the right thing to do" She said gently.
