Once she has return the ship and her hand and other injeras were taken care of she headed to her room to Meditate. She focused on Ashinti hoping to find her but not totally expecting to. She saw Ashinti did. It hurt to see her do that. " Ashinti please be ok" she thought.

Astra will find Ashanti in her home, among the large beautiful glass city that is her Sith world. "I am so sorry Astra," Ashanti said as Astra walks in to her home. "I didn't expect to be here when I woke up," she said softly. "I really did expect to die."

Astra looks released. " Ahinti" Astra practically prayed as she ran up and huge her. " I thought you were dead" she muttered. She burst into tears. She had been so sad to see her die.

Ashanti moved her hands to Astra's fake hand and arm, "I am so sorry." There were tears in her eyes as she looked at Astra.

Shaking her head, "I heard the whispers calling to me, telling me that I could be free of you. Be my own person if I could only prove my worth."

She shook her head, "I am so sorry."

She pulled Astra in to a hug, "I just, just," the pain in her voice was almost overwhelming. "I wanted to be free, to have my own life where I wasn't so dependent on you."

She held on tightly to Astra, "it used that desire to trick me, and I am so sorry."

" no he is not going to hurt you I will not let happen. I'm sorry I hurt you the way I did. I didn't know and I feal stupid for not trying to understand you all" she said shaking her head. " when you killed yourself. I was so afraid I would never see you again never get the chance to Apologies for my stupidity. I'm so glad you are ok and here and alive." She said tears threatening to fall as she struggled to controller emotions.

Ashanti frowned deeply, "you are not the only one that needs to apologize." Her hand moving over Astra's missing hand. "I am so sorry Astra."

She moved back and motioned for them to sit at a near by table, "it was so cereal for me." She took her seat and waited for Astra to sit before continuing, "I have always wanted to be free. Since my first dream," she shrugged. "Well since I have had dreams, that has been the one I had the most."

"Then there was this sense that I could be. I could be free and have my own life. I could be truly free." Her eyes welled up once more, "but you are," she paused, "I do love you like my sister. How can I not."

She shook her head, "I was so close to being free, but not like that. I couldn't do that to you."

She looked down in shame, "I really did expect to die in that moment."

" it's ok it doesn't hurt anymore and ill get used to it." She said.

She smiled and took a seat." I can understand that I would probably want the same thing if I were in your place" she said gently.

" I did not realize it before but when you almost Died I realized I do care about you. Yahweh have our differences and we fight and argue a lot but I would miss thoughts flights and arguments there kinda fun" she said with a smile. She held out a hand to tank Ashiintis. " everything will be ok" she said.

But the fact that you can not feal the light side is well it's so strange" Astra said. She looked puzzled. Astra stared at her she had almost forgotten about the holocron. " Ashanti are you sure about that? You know that thing and the dark side are dangerous? I just I need to know you have thought this through" Astra said gently. She was not dismissing Ashinti but sumthing in her tone suggested that was struggling with her own beliefs. Sith Holocrons we're dangerous really dangerous.

Ashanti nodded, "I have to follow the pull." There was an honest tone in her voice. "I can't explain it, but I know that this is where I must go." She shook her head and raised her gaze back to Astra, "I...I...don't know where it will lead me, but I know its what I must do."

She paused for a moment and then added, "you can't tell anyone. Not even Durro. He will demand that I stop."

She reached out and rested her hand on Astra's, "please."

" y-you want me to keep that secret from my master, has he not more the earned your trust? " she asked her eyes wide. She understand the need to follow the pull of the force and this was important to Ashanti.

It was a few moments befor she spoke. " ok but we will need to find a way to make this work. As we still need rest and I have ca it's to the others. If you want to keep this secret we are going to need to do that" she said quietly.

Ashanti lowered her head, "you are right. If he asks, tell him. But only because I trust him to respect my choice here. I have to know why I am being pulled to this. I have to know.."

She paused for a long moment, "when I sleep, you are awake. When you sleep, I am awake. Its how I have been doing things behind your back before. This way, you won't be lying to the others about what I am doing. Just go to sleep and I will take over."

Ashanti stood up, "no it really doesn't." She turned to the backward, "by the way, you need to work with your Master on your defense. You strength isn't in your blade work. its in your mobility. Once you stopped moving, I knew I had you beaten."

Ashanti rolled her eyes, "yes, I did. But what if you are denied the ability to use the force?"

She turned and moved towards Astra and quickly grabbed gabbed her pointed fingers at Astra's throat. The move was fast and Astra was able to easily dodge the surprise attack (5 Vitality). "You can't rely on the Force to always be there. You need to focus on your surroundings and know how you can react to them," she explained.

" hi master  it's alright look, handyman was even able to make it match the rest of me how are you" she said pulling her sleeve back so show him. She seamed to be in a good mood all things considered.

" Ashanti is not actually dead by the way. She said I should talk to you about training. Apparently my stranth lise in my agility rather then my blade work. I don't know if that means anything to you." She shrugged. She studied him for a moment.

" I was also kinda cerous about what you experienced wail we were separated" she added.

" thats not what I meant master. I'm kinda still trying processing everything if that makes any sense to you " she said shaking her head. " during the fight with Ashanti I was unable to call on the force for help. The dark side was so strong im not sure why but I was not able to connect with the light side like I normally would have. Ashanti carry quickly pointed out is a huge gap in my defense. That is what I meant. As for the labyrinth I was faced with Roza as a young adult, tesara, and Sol. You can imagine which trap was the hardest for me to walk away from.  Anyway, when Ashanti won the fight I thought she was going to kill me. I was kind of shocked that she did not. She told me that the dark side was calling her she had not meant to cut my handoff. I don't think she is truly a sith. Anyway, when I thought she was dead, I realized that I do care about her. I mean yeah she and I argue a lot but I would still miss that. You know. I honestly did not want to fight with her but she was dead set on a fight. " Astra said.

Astra blinked she stared at him for a long time thinking hard. " the dark side will always be present both outside and within all of us. As iv seen from Ashinti. However just because it was there tempting us dose not mean we have to fall to it." She said thinking some more. Remembering the crystal maze.

" Stuberness can also be a dubbed egged sword. There a time and place for it. Like in the caves then Twsara and Sol we were both insisting that I was lost. However, I should have listened to and given Ashanti the benefit of the doubt rather than fight with her just because I thought she was a Sith. My attachment to the people I love can also be well is a huge problem. It is my attachment to Roza and wishes not to let her suffer the way I did that will lead her to the dark side. My other attachment to you Tesara, Haadaza, and the professor wail a good thing can become dangerous and twisted by the dark side as well. I need to be careful not to let that happen and be ready to walk away should the force pull me away from them." She said finally.

" that im not Ashanti and I had a nice long talk while meditating and she was right about my fighting style and lack of good defense skills hence why I brought it up to you. As for Roza, I realize I can't protect her from everything she will never be able to grow and experience anything new if I do that. She needs space to do that and wail I accept that the true test will be other or not I can follow throw with that when I see her again. If I see her again. As for the rest of you, I need to be careful to keep my emotions in check and not let my attachment to you all become sumthing dark as it did with Roza and Quinn. As for being stubborn, I need to work on recognizing the time and place for it. For example, refusing to give up in the crystal made was the right call. But not listening to Ashanti when she was trying to tell me the professor was the wrong call." She said thinking some more. She watched Durro and smiled.

" as for the dark side it will always be there both outside and inside myself tempting me to give in to it. It's my job not to give in. Yes, I do feal pain, fear, and anger from time to time but it's my choice when and how I express them and how I deal with them. I can let them bother me for year's like I did befor being your apprentice or I can feal agnolage them then let them go." She said finally. She looked to Durro wondering if she was right or not.

" the dark side is a corruption of the force. It corrupts and consumes the user. Turning them into sumthing thats not them. Thoughts who fall to the dark side tend to be self-centered and obsessed with gaining power and control. It may appear to be more powerful and appealing with its quick results but it's not. It's the promise of power and control is a lie" she said. She was still studying him trying to guess what he was thinking and where his new line of questioning was going.

Astra thinks for a moment. Was this some kind of test. " there are all kinds of reasons people fall to the dark side. Though some of the biggest ones are persuaded of power and control, as well as loss of faith in the light side. There's also those that feal trapped and lose all hope that there's a better future waiting around the corner" she said. She looked away from Durro lost in thought.

" right master, I'll keep that in mind," she said.

" yes, it is possible as I have learned the hard way that is why we have to be vigilant and careful of the choices we make. That's also why the cortisone order requires monthly evaluations of all Jedi to help ensure that no one falls and those in danger of falling are identified early and given the help they need to get back on track. Those who fall never really mean. To fall they just made choices that wail was not the best they thought were right and well-meaning at the time. We are human as you have said master we are not perfect. Sometimes it takes a fall to learn the lesson. As long as we don't give up we will always be able to come back from the dark should we stray from the path" she said.

You fall not because you were overpowered or tricked, but you chose to give in.  The Labyrinth is a perfect picture of this, you're lost because you chose to stay, no matter how good your reasons were."

" by it lies master and because it's cold as hell. But many its lies. It promises for quick easy power. The price of that power is not worth it and it's not true power and anything else you want. In my experience it diapers have been oldest when im frightened or angry. True strength is in resisting it's lies."  Astra said.

" I umm..." She looked at him finally. How would she know? " because giving into the dark side often appears like the easy solution to the problem at hand which is another clue. But it also feels like the wrong choice to make at that moment." she said. She hoped she was right. As she thought back it had been easy to tell the difference in the cave but she also remembered on raxious where she had crossed the line. She had done so because she was afraid and not thinking straight. Then on the ora ship where she was confronted by the bug. But then it did not feal like the wrong choice. She did not know what to do and Ashanti did. Which played into her stubborn dismissal of Ashinti for how ever long it's been now. " Honestly master im not totally sure how to tell the difference" she added after a moment of thought

" I understand master. But when one is in the moment and a disision must be made quickly then what. There's is not always time to meditate. Sometimes decisions have to be made in a split second. How do we tell the difference then?" She asked?

"With practice, one can clear their mind quickly, and in a variety of tense situations. A good question to ask is; 'Am I doing this for others, or for myself?' Be honest when answering."

They have reached the center of the space, the training course stretching on around them.

"I've brought you here to train, as Ashanti suggested. We'll work on your Soresu velocities and I'll teach you how to properly disengage from an opponent without leaving yourself open."

He grins and adds,

"We'll see if that's a fightin' hand!"

"The living are always better practice than a remote." Durro says, withdrawing his lightsaber from his belt.

He closes his eyes for a moment, wrapping the Force around him, letting it flow through him. He activates the blade, and holds it in a simple Shii-Cho ready stance.

Astra leaps backwards befor setting into her favored form 2 stance. She waghts patently for Durro to make the first move. She is calm for the moment. " I try not to throw you into a wall this time" she said with a grin. It did not matter how many times she got her butt kicked she still enjoyed this.

After nearly an hour of velocities and drills, as well as footwork practice for safely separating during a fight, Durro finally says;

"Enough." He back to about four meters away and holds his lightsaber in a basic ready stance. "Now, we duel. Show me what you've learned."

Astra adopts the Soresu opening stance, and barely is she ready when Durro charges in to attack! Their blades clash, Durro's Ataru surge is brief, he finds no opening and so drifts away, only to come in again at another angle. Again, Astra holds him off with a stalwart defense; Durro grins and with a perfect disengage; leaps onto and runs along the training course.

"Come and get me then!" he calls down confidently from a beam near the ceiling. "I have the high ground!"

In response, Astra thrusts out her hand and grasps a nearby cargo container with the Force. She hurls it at Durro who barely moves to let it by. It never hits the wall, instead it and another crate from nearby hurl themselves at Astra, who spins effortlessly aside and with a massive two-handed gesture, collapses the pile of crates the beam rests on with a surge of the Force; the stack collapses and the beam falls, sending Durro to the ground with a curse amid the debris. He rolls easily to his feet, reigniting his lightsaber and thrusting out his hand; Astra leaves the ground as if yanked by an invisible rope and crashes with a squeal into a pile of boxes, which pile down on top of her while Durro laughs.

"Yeah, how do you like it!?" Durro calls across the room. "I told you yours was coming!"

With a gesture, the boxes explode off Astra and she leaps to her feet.

"Try fighting without your saber, Master!" She giggles. She reaches out with the Force, but meets only his resolve; his saber staying stubbornly put in his hand. He grins and charges towards her, saber held in an aggressive posture. Thinking fast; Astra heaves a weapons locker high up into the air, releasing it at the apex of its arch to fall towards her master. He sees it coming and rolls aside, his charge unbroken.

"Nice try!" he taunts, as Astra turns tail and begins running along the course. Durro charges after her, she leaps across the broken section and turns to defend herself, her Soresu defense blunting his Ataru surge, made all the more powerful by his own leap across the gap.

Seeing an opening, Astra lunges with Makashi precision, Durro swears again as he spins aside, Astra's saber burning a blackened streak into his robes. His clumsy spin throws him off balance, a well-placed kick from Astra sends him off the course towards the deck below. All is not lost though, Durro lands on a support beam for the cargo crane and Force-jumps back onto the course, his deft bladework binding Astra's blade and sending her lightsaber spinning into the air. Instead of falling to the deck, however, it flies into Durro's waiting left hand. Astra disengages and runs along the course.

"Does that mean you surrender!?" Durro calls after her with a laugh.

"Of course not!" She calls back, laughing as well. "I just don't want to be in striking range when I reclaim my lightsaber!"

Durro charges after her, Astra's lightsaber on his belt. He attacks anyway, Astra ducks and weaves, leaping and spinning to avoid his strikes. Finally, as she rolls away from a lunge, she thrusts out her hand and reclaims her lightsaber.

He is on her in an instant, a powerful Djem So assault that batters Astra's Soresu defense. As her fatigue begins to make her sloppy, Durro switches to Makashi, and in four precise strikes relieves her of her lightsaber and holds his to her throat.

"That's bout." He says with a grin, his chest heaving and his face glistening with sweat.

"Yes, but I gave you a good challenge." Asta says, reclaiming her lightsaber and placing it on her belt.

Durro replaces his saber as well, looking around at the damage they caused.

"Here, help me fix this up or there'll be Hell to pay." He says. "And by Hell I mean Hadaza."

Astra burst into a fit of Giggels. "You have no idea master. Hadaza is pretty terrifying when she wants to be." She said and started to clean up the means they made.

"I did." Durro says with a small smile. "My first was Master Tiplar; one of two twins who served as Generals in the Clone Wars. She was killed during the Battle of Ringo Vinda. She could still alive in this universe; though I've never thought to look."

"After her death, I thought I was ready for Knighthood. Master Tiplee, the twin, told me she thought I was ready to take the trials. Then the Council assigned me a new teacher; Master Visas Marr, who had been away in the Unknown Regions finding and exploring ancient Jedi Temples for sixteen years."

Astra stared at him. If she were not tired from the fight she would try reaching out with empathy. But she would not be able to do that. " That must have been hard. How did you manage to handle that an in the middle of a war no less. How old were you" she asked.

"Just a kid, twenty years old." Durro says. "I'm afraid I didn't handle it well. I was a soldier, and I wanted to be on the front lines."

He uses the Force to replace the stack of boxes Astra had been knocked into.

"Master Marr's forces were reserve, we patrolled Republic space and monitored for incursions. I thought I would die of boredom. Master Marr and I fought, a lot. I respected her wisdom but hated the way she spoke in riddles and did not seem to listen to me." He smiles wistfully as he remembers. "She had this way of talking; she would say one thought, ask a question, and then when you answered she would go off on a completely different train of thought as if she never heard your answer."

" Twenty feels like a life time away. I was only 17 when Lord Sereno and Sol.." She tailed off the was a distant look on her face briefly. she recovers quickly enough. She picked up several other crates that had been knocked over.

" I can imagine that was frustrating. Lord Sereno was not always clear but at lest he always agnoliged what I had said to him, you miss Master Marr don't you? " She asked.

"She knew Order 66, the destruction of the Jedi, was coming." Durro says softly. "How, I don't know but she did. She made sure I was on Lanus when it happened but our cruiser exploded in orbit. I never saw her alive again."

There is a moment of silence before Durro speaks again.

"I spoke with her spirit on this Lanus, when I imbued my Kyber Crystal. She told me she hand intended to join me on Lanus. To finish my training and wait; together we would train a new generation of Jedi. Instead, I was marooned for nineteen years on my own."

He smiles at Astra and says,

"I do miss her, though. Although a part of her still lives."

"I rember you saying that it was one of are first conversations." Astra said. She is silent with him. It had been over 19 years for him.  It had only been two years since she had lost them and her way.

" for what its worth I'm glad she sent you to Lanus, If she had not You would never have meet Tesara or I." she said. she know that He and tesara had rescued her and lit the path for her. " I almost walked away from the Jedi altogether, but You and Tesara showed me something new, for that I'm vary grateful" she said.

" Are you telling me you actually meet a force ghost that's so amazing," Astra said she was a bit intrigued by the entire story.

" Your right she dose live on in you. well I did not know her I bet her taring would be evident in you and in the lesions you pass on. Though master you don't have to train a new generation of Jedi by yourself if I ever actually complete my training I can help you" she said with a smile.

"That may be easier than I thought." Durro says with a smile. "The last time I saw Master Marr alive, when she sent me to Lanus, she gave me a holocron. She told me; 'When you are ready, you will be able to open this. You will see the wonders I have discovered. Learn all that I have learned. And in time, teach a new generation of Jedi'."

A peaceful quiet falls for a moment.

"I've only held the holocron twice since coming to this universe." He finally says quietly. "Never tried to open it. ...Until we got back from our last misadventure. I finally tried, and it did open for me. It's Master Marr's own holocron, that she made herself. She did make it so someone could restart the order with it; a near-complete History of the Jedi, and the location and basic information for every ancient temple she visited. Enough information that I could visit them myself."

He smiles as he talks, his voice becoming more cheerful at the prospect.

"Wow that a lot of pressure to put on some one" She said.

"You were able to open it. That's great" She said exsitedly.

" It sounds like seeking out these temples my be a good idea. if the exists in this universe at the vary least it may help you find a place to base the new order out of. Are you going to hold to only excepting infants Master, I know the order I am from is flawed but you may want to consider some of there traditions" She suggested. she just did not like the idea if children being taken from there home before they could Make the choice themselves. After all she had chosen this path no one had told her she was going to do this. Ireagradless it was nice to see Durro cheer up.

"I thought a lot about this." Durro says seriously. "For twenty years, I have thought about this."

"I don't plan on taking children; not as young as my order did." He says. "We'll teach anyone and everyone who wants to learn from us, starting with meditation and the Force itself; basic stuff, not Jedi specific."

"Being a Jedi isn't for everyone, as you and I well know. While we encourage living life to the fullest, you must not be so attached that your relationships and other passions stand in the way of serving others. Not everyone can strike this balance, and so only those who prove they can will be trained as full Jedi. Though all are welcome to learn what they can, only a few will 'finish' the training. They will spread out into the galaxy, starting their own temples and academies. The decision to limit attachments and become a full Jedi will not be presented to children. The children in our care will be educated and taught about the Force, but only adults will be allowed to choose the life of a Jedi."

It is apparent in his voice he has thought about this, there is a longing to his words; like he cannot wait for this be reality.

Astra smiled a bright genuine smile. " I like the sound of that, and don't worry I will get my Attachments under control" She says she looks at her wrist and her bracelet. She takes the bracelet off. setting it in the palm of her hand with a great deal of care. " Starting with this" She said and offers the Bracelet to Durro. even in the way she holds it out for him there's a great deal of care in her actions. It still meant a great deal to her but she was willing to give it up and walk away for her last attachment to the past. A past she did not remember correctly. But still important to her and who she was.

Durro wraps her fingers around the bracelet in her palm.

"You hang onto it. Your struggle with attachments will be a neverending one. The Dark Side can never be fully defeated, we must keep it at bay every day; constant vigilance against its seduction. While our attachments can lead us astray, they are also what gives us purpose; reminds us of what we serve. You wish to honor Sol's memory by being a Jedi, and I see no problem with you wearing the bracelet he gave you. Everything in moderation; completely detached is just as bad as overly attached."
