"So essentially I have to create a force capable of not just defeating this race, but I have to do things without letting the Son know where I am and what we're doing." he made it sound easy, but he knew it was going to be far from that.

Lysire shook her head, "this action is past you. No, Jedi, you will have to find someone, a champion, who will do this things while you guide and protect them from the Son."

She gazed out across the remains of the battlefield. Duncan knew that she knew each and everyone of them. "Your story is coming to an end."

"How will I know who... this chosen one will be?" he asked her.

Duncan looked up from the floor of the castaway's hope. Strange markings on the floor lay before him. He stared at them for a moment almost confused by them. They were of that same markings in the tomb, the same words that Lysire had uttered alone in the dark. Duncan barely realized that he was holding a marker. As his eyes fixed on it, he noticed those same strange markings were all over his hands and arms. He slowly rose up from the floor and walked over to the mirror. Every bit of exposed flesh had those same markings on them.

In the back of his mind, Lysire's words echoed, "you already know who you have chosen to entrust the fate of the Galaxy with."

There was so much in his mind that it actually hurt. He closed his eyes only to see the remains of that battlefield before him. Images of Master Chun, Baklid, all of them invaded each other and overwhelmed him.

He opened his eyes the mirrors and Lysire standing behind him, "its up to you to start guiding them, and prepare for the day when your story will end."

It was a lot to take in. It was a leap of faith that he'd have to make that he could prepare things up to the point that they would be on the path that would lead them to successful and hopefully relatively safe lives. He didn't know if he could do it... but he could Hope.
