He shook his head, "Padawan Kenobi, I haven't invited you to do anything. And you are already deeply interwoven in to this neat of darksiders."
He tilted his head and spoke calmly with an even tone, "you left your daughter with them knowing that one of them, Nova, is an admitted killer." He smiled empathically, "to say your judgement is off would be an understatement." The comment was followed by a friendly smile.

" I left my daughter with Fihn and Ava Forma. She is more then safe you can ask Quinn when he wakes up. I was considering asking if it would be ok to bring her here its unfair to fihn to leave Roza with him for that long without worning. I have no asoseation with any darksiders Master i meet these two indaviguals once and did not know they were darksiders" She said.

He nodded, "of course it would be okay to bring your daughter here to the temple." His voice revealed a hint of pleasure, "I can have you two set up with living arrangements here if you wish." He paused a moment then added, "if you require them that is."
He listened again, "Four...." he corrected her. "There are four darksiders, Padawan Kenobi. And that doesn't count the two that were discovered on Baklid two."

He nodded, "which is why I was pleased when I heard Quinn joined you at the Summer Palace. Though he hasn't had much, let alone useful information to report, just the idea that he is there ready to protect you is enough for me to accept it as a good idea."

" Nova is not force sencitive Master you rescued her from the train acsident you now she is not a darksider she has made bad choices. we dont even know her side of this mess that she has goten herself in" Astra said. She took a deep breth " Why would you want to protect me? i understand Quinn but i dont understand your point of view." astra said. She took out her comlink. then looked to Quinnlen as if thinking beter of her original idea. " Would you like to come along to pick up Roza with me" She offered she figered he would not come along but felt it was the palight thing to do.

Astra raises an eyebrow. " ok I will let this drop for now." She said.
Astra blinked in surprise. " You want to come? I would have thought you would prefer to stay with your sun. I'm sorry Master im just surprised." She stood up. Looked to Quinn she took his hand for a breff moment. " I'll be back soon" she whispered. She looked to Quinnlen. " when ever you are ready master. Security at the summer palice has been increased so the guards may want to such or question you" she said.

He smiled broadly, "of course I would want to join you. My son is in the best possible hands. And seeing the environment in which my son is currently living is important to me."
He gave a nod, "also, I do have some follow up questions for Thel-Tanis in light of your answers."
He frowned deeply, "Padawan Kenobi, if you truly care about your friends you will allow the Hunter to carry out their own investigation. If you or anyone else involves themselves in the investigation, critical evidence could be missed, compromised or deemed unusable."
His frown held as he continued, "tainted evidence could invertenly cause the wrong judgment."
He waved out over the city, "I can't speak on behalf of the local Court system here on this world, but if you want her innocence to be proven, allow the professions to do their work."

"Oh, you think my home is a bad environment. Well, sort of home honestly im not sure how I feal about the summer Palace," she said scratching the back of her head.
She listened to his students regarding Nova. " Master you can't get close to Nova like I can after Daz did what he did to her. She is very afraid of jedi in general. It took a lot of work for me to get close and convince her to tell me the story. There's no way you get close to her especially not in that" Astra said and gestered to his Hunter robes.
" Nova trust me. I can get your information without housing her more distress. Quinn can always read my mind to prove im giving you the truth. I'm already given him permission to look in my mind. I was hoping it would make physical contact between us easier for him and help him trust me. He can be a little ummm jumpy." She said Gentlely.

"Padawan Kenobi," he said then without warning the lights in the entire facility dimmed and soft red lights turned on. The rooms and halls were suddenly filled with soft chimes.
As if reading her mind, "that is a planetary alert."
Astra knew what he said was true. The chimes meant that the world of Baklid Six had fallen under attack!

" what!! " she reached for her lightsaber. " Roza is with Ava she will be fine" she reminded herself. " what do we do master" she asked finally.
She took several deep breths before reaching to the force and taking her lightsaber from her belt. " Master, what are your orders" she said.

" Master if you know this atack was coming and there were plans to counter it why did you not tell me when the ships started to atack?" Astra asked crossing her arms and staring at him.
She started at the holoprojection. " Master do you know if Master palpaten is still in charge of olivon. I meet him twice it's hard to believe he did this though there was sumthing unnerving about him." She said.

Then slowly that number grew," he said softly. He then turned towards her, "in truth, you shouldn't even be here. But I want to test you," he said softly.

Astra tried to hide her grin and shook her head. " I did lison I just forgot turbo. Lazers are starting" she said.
She watched the screens carefully. She started to mess with her bracelet and she thought. " Graff is expose to be a clone of all the best jedi in his family or sumthing like that." She said thinking out loud. She was select again and turned her head sideways. The weals turning as she thought. " there are two possibilities I can think of right off the bat Master. He could be expecting the Attack hear to fail. The stack could act as a diversion some could take on another target. The other possibility is it's a two or more stage attack this group of ships could just be the first wave to where us down. Riddle down our defences before his ship and battle group arive." She said thoughtfully. " though again the real question is why would that Atack baklid. It doesn't same like a good strategic target or even military target. It just doesn't make sense" she added.

He turned to her with a deep frown. "Doesn't seem like a good strategic or military target," he voice echoed the disappointment on his face.
"The local government built a vast military complex in Rotterdam which tens of thousands of troops are currently fighting over. A joint corporate and government venture to build the largest Refinery in the Outer Rim is at the heart of that facility."
He point on a large holo map where heaving space battles are taking place, "SunCo's shipyards on Baklid 2 appears to be a target as well."
He blinked at her, "Padawan Kenobi, please explain to me the dangers of misunderstanding the facts."

" oh" she said. Her eyes going wide as she now understood. " They are after the refinery and ship ship yeards" she said. Realizing that the were to ruining to protect there new leader.
" I see now Master the other side of the fight. They are after the refinery and ship years. two large targets on both bakled two and six would act as Sunco's fuling and landing feald. This would act as a staging area to alow them to go after other systems" she said. She took a deep breath.
" incomplete information can lead to assumptions that are falty and will cost lives and ground in the long run" Astra said quietly.

He nodded, "when we rush in to an engagement, rather it be small or large, we risk defeat."
There was a chime on his comlink. He pulled up from his pocket and flipped it on, "Master Vos," he said calmly.
"Sir," a female voice said softly. "Knight Vos is starting to awaken," she reported.
He nodded and thanked the woman for the update. As he put his comlink away, he turned to Astra, "Padawan Kenobi, why don't you go and greet my son back to the realm of the living."
He turned back to the monitors, "please tell him, I am tied up with a system wide invasion."
He didn't give her a chance to reply before calling out, "any sign of the Malevolence."
Another voice called back, "no Master Vos."
He then turned back to Astra, "you can go now."

" master? Are you sure that graff will actually come" she asked. She wanted just long enough for the answer. "Thank you, I'll go take care off Quinn Master" she said as if trying to make him fell better before she left.
It would not take her long to find Quinn's room again. " Quinn?" She said. A hint of relief in her voice as she entered the room.

The nurse in the room nodded, "he appears to be suffering from delirium." She frowned helping Quinn's head and allowing him to drink. "The doctors are tied up with the injured from the morning attacks."
Quinn waved her off, "attacks," he questioned. "What attacks," he said trying to get up only to fail horrible.

Her face and apparel were similar to that which she wore in the graveyard. Though Astra, much older was by her side. The pair were facing off against something, but it was unknown, unseen.

Quinn's eyes flashed open and he reached up to Astra without warning and grabbed the sides of her head. He pulled down as he lifted up and their lips met. In that moment, Astra felt his soft lips on hers and a wave of emotions and visions crashed against her mind.

In her mind, swirled images blinding with images. Sounds and sensations, like a vortex of sensations that are nearly impossible to make out. Though with her very best of efforts, she was able to make out two images. One of her and Roza, over Quinn's grave. The next a ghostly image of a male figure obscured in a fog bank on the edge of a large lake.

" you know you scared the hell out of me. Im never letting you leave my sight again" she said. She reached up and traces one of his tattoos one of the ones on his face. He laughed, "no, it is just Quinn." and she knew that that was the truth. She also knew that a young padawan girl with reddish blond hair used to call him Q-bert. She used to look up to him, until she was murdered. The two had shared a close bond as Quinn looked after her like a baby sister. She was the only one to ever call him Q-bert. It is still a wound in his heart that he hasn't fully dealt with.

His face frowned, "it was a nickname given to me by," his voice trailed off. But Aster knew her name. She could see the echoes of the memories from him. See the young girl laying face down on the pavement. Her blood spread out like a small lake around the body. She could feel his pain at her loss.

She asked a question in which she already knew the answer. He wanted to get closer to her. To learn more about who she was and if there was something between them. And she also knew that much of what he learned he did keep it a secret from the Hunters.

But in the back of Astra's mind were three important nagging facts. Her own vision, his vision and what Durro had told her. She knew in his heart, he knew his death was now only a matter of time.

Eventually Astra fell asleep curled up in Quinn's arms. She was happy to be here with him glad he was back but also worried. What was coming it scared her?

The light poured in from the near by window. The scares from the early morning bombardment across the city was clearly evident. Pillars of thick black smoke still rose in to the air. As Quinn flipped through the channels, they were all abuzz about the deadly battle across the system. Nearly thirty warships from the newly formed Outer Rim Alliance were locked in a brutal battle with twice as many Jedi and Republic warships that seemed to appear out of nowhere. With the government in chaos, the Baklid Liberation Front has stepped up their attacks across the continent of Europa. Rotterdam has been reduced to near ruin as bitter street to street fighting between Government Forces and BLF controlled droids.
For a sleepy Astra, it was the large plum of smoke raising over the Summer Palace that caught her eye. The area seemed nearly naked with the absence of the Founder's Tower. There was so much suffering that even Astra could feel it in the Force.
"It doesn't look good," Quinn said.

" I know" she said her eyes fixed on the founders tower. She watched for a long time. "I hope Tesara, Nova, and Durro are ok" she said quietly. She know Ava and Roza were ok they were still in the bunker. " Roza and Ava are in a bunker under the palace."she said. she turned to Quinn. " Quinn is there anything we can do?" she asked. He shook his head, "there is nothing I can do. The battle is up there being fought by some of the very best the Jedi Fleets have to offer. I heard something that even the 501's is involved. This ORA put troops down on Baklid 2 and 7, the 501st is fighting them on both worlds."
He turned his head to her, "so we sit back and wait."

" I did not say you should be calm i said how can you be so calm." she smiled and shook her head. she walked over to him and put her arms around him pulling him into a hug. " its just hard to sit by and do nothing when people are suffering. Roza is probably giving Fihn and Ava hell" Astra said quietly.

He smiled, "Astra, there is nothing for us to do. I am not a combat pilot so I won't be joining the battle in space. There are no forces attacking the temple. And the Temple is on full lock down, so there is no leaving. There is just that, nothing for us to do."

" Waght lockdown for how long" She looked out the window towers the summer palace panicked. " iv never been away from Her for this long" Astra said. She took a few deep breathes. She needed to calm down before Quinn lectures her for not controlling her emotions.
" Ok, im sorry I freaked out for a moment. Being a mom is hard sometimes ok. You should have seen how upset she ended up the night you crashed. It was all my falt to because I could not calm down. " she said shaking her head. Then glared to Quinn " Dont you ever scare the hell out of me like that again." She said.

" That they were gearing up for war" Astra asked a hard edge to her voice. She shook her head " so what would you like to do quinn" she asked him.
She wanted for an answer. "You still have not gotten to see this yes, unfutunitly with Teasra off world I don't think I'll be bonding with it any time soon" she said. Holding her legacy crystal up in front of him. She know that would get a reaction sense he had never actually seen one of those crystals.
