Once the others have left, Durro sees Hadaza settling in with the library books. He approaches her and places the stolen borrowed hydrospanner before her.
"I'm going to rest, but I have homework for you. I promised I'd teach you 'Move Object'; your first lesson begins now."
He sits down opposite her.

Haj looks up at him concerned. "Are you sure you are up for this right now? That took a lot out of you"

"Do you think I had the luxury of a nightly eight hours while fighting a war?"
He smiles at her and gestures to the spanner.
"I'm just getting you started; you can practice while I sleep."

"If you are sure, then I won't push. Tesara tried to teach me a little, but ... hmm ... yeah I could do with some practice. And a different perspective might help. Where do I start?"

Durro closes his eyes and says softly;
"Close your eyes. Clear your mind. Connect yourself to the Force. Feel it flowing through you; part of you, as you are part of it."

She does as she is told, but is uneasy. She tries to sit, breathing as Tesara taught her. But, as is her custom, the need to move in order to truly clear her mind overrides her ability to be still.
She rises and starts a kata form, tapping into the Force through movement.

Durro, his eyes still closed, smiles slightly but says nothing. Once he can feel her focus, he continues.
"Feel the Force around you... between you, and me. Between the ship, and the planet. Between you, and the spanner."
"See the spanner in your mind... see it move... use your connection to make it move, hover it above the table."

Haj can see the spanner, feel it, spinning between her moving hands, coming and going in the flow of the form's motions, even though she's sure it's still on the table in front of her.

Durro's eyes snap open as he feels the Force flow through the room. The spanner wobbles, and one end lifts into the air as if by a string. The other end wobbles... then the entire thing drops heavily to the table with a soft thump.
"Well done; it takes Younglings years to learn to levitate even small objects with the Force. I understand your need for movement to focus, but it will behoove you to learn how to focus while stationary."
He rises as if to leave.
"That said, I'm going to take my nap. Keep practicing; you already know how to connect with the Force. I'll observe you again when I awake."

She stops moving at his words, frowning slightly in the same frustration that has dogged her since their conversation earlier in the day. "Yes, Master Thel-Tanis. Thank you for your instruction. I'll keep trying."
She bows slightly.
"Though I have a feeling that sitting still will be an issue that may take longer to overcome. " She smiles warmly at him. "Enjoy your rest."
She turns back to the tabletop and the damnable spanner in front of her. She picks it up and takes it with her to the cargo bay for more practice
