Chapter Three (A): Adrian & Suki

Adrian and Suki: Going Left!

(OOC: It is understood that the party has at this time recovered the remaining of their equipment. The party weapons are still MIA, however any non-weapon has returned to its owner)

As Adrian and Suki headed out to the left of the medical bay, it didn’t take the pair long to wonder their way through the ship in search of a window that they could use to get their measurements. With Alice’s notes in hand and Eric’s instructions, they were determined to find the answer to the million C-Bill question. Adrian and Suki checked a few doors as they continued to work their way left. They found a few locked doors and a few rooms where the sheds were closed and locked. Still, the pair pressed onward in search of a room with a view.

As they continued to walk left, the ship's crew didn't seem to give them any trouble. However it was clear that the pair were not all that welcomed aboard. There was a since of distrust coming from the crew.

There was a profound look of sadness on Suki's face as she was led through the corridors of the ship. The idea of being blind was starting to take its toll on the teen. It was only yesterday that she could see the world around her. Now everything was black, but it was worse than that. Black was a color. In this world she was forced in to, there wasn't even blackness. It was if the world around her was simply gone.

Her memories started to wonder on the friends aboard the Prince of Wales. They had all perished and she was the only survivor. It was only a couple days ago and her entire world was gone forever?

For Adrian, the nightmare wasn't much better. The two options weren't much better. Either lost in time or at the mercy of a powerful and resourceful enemy. As Adrian looked around, he couldn't say much better about the company around him. It was at that moment that he noticed the distressed look on Suki's face.

While looking at the doors to decide which one would be "open" before him, Adrian couldn't stop to wonder if he could trust the scientist and the ComStar groupie. He couldn't see how they would be related to his past but one is never too cautious.

Just when he was about to speak to Suki, he turned to her and saw the distressed look on her face.

Hey. Don't worry. Remember, we are the winning team.

With a pause and trying to hide for now the lack of trust in ComStar he had

And I am sure everything will go all right when we get you back to ComStar.

Suki turned towards the voice and tried to smile, "I was thinking of Kat. She was my roommate and mentor aboard the Prince of Wales. She was the first one to talk to me" she said then paused. A smile came to her face as she added, "well if you consider 'freeze, put your hands where I can see them' as talking, then yes" she almost laughing as she remembered their first meeting.

That's a tough first talk.

Looking at the doors and wondering which one to open, Adrian decided not to choose.

So tell me Suki, which door do you think will open before us?

[Aria Blackthorn]

Suki nodded, "yeah" she said softly. "I was a member of a gang when Comstar came to our world. I was told by our gang leader to sneak aboard their ship and steal something." She smiled, "I got caught by Kat. And it changed my life."

As Suki heard the question she forced Adrian to a stop and looked at him. She stepped back and moved her head around as if searching the options before her. She drew in a deep breath and pointed, (Akira made me randomly roll for this. ITS NOT MY FAULT). She pointed at the section of wall between the two doors. "That one" she said with confidence.

[OOC: I had guessed it would end up like this ]

Wondering what else could have happened, Adrian tried not to sound annoyed when he spoke to Suki.

Well done. You must believe in yourself. I will know check to see if it is open

Going in front of the left door, Adrian tried to open it.

As door opened it revealed a doorway leading in to a large Recreation Room. This was clearly the place where members of the crew would come to work out and relax. The Recreation Room was currently being used by three of Kimiko’s bodyguards. The same three he saw in the lounge. All were dressed down in just undershirts and their combat pants. To Adrain’s surprise the female bodyguard he saw earlier was here within the Recreation Room.

She was standing before a large punching bag moving up and down as if she is boxing with the punching bag. A male bodyguard was holding the bag as she punched it and drove her knee in to the bag. Her blows were powerful and well placed for maximum effect. The guard holding the bag was having trouble holding the bag against her hits.

While the female continued to wear her Hijab as she worked out, she had removed her blouse. She had on a sleeveless undershirt and her combat pants. Sweat dripped off her body with each movement of her body as she worked the bag. Her complete focus was on her workout as she continued to deliver blow after blow against the bag.

Adrian couldn’t help but noticed that all three bodyguards were still wearing those computers on their left arms. More than that, they were still wearing their red tinted glasses. Their weapons were neatly stacked on a bench where the third guard from the lounge watched the female working out. To Adrian’s immediate right was a door. It appeared that both lead to this large room. More so, to Adrian’s delight was a large bay window with a wonderful view of the stars around the ship. The only problem was, it was on the other side of the body guards who were here already.

Turning to Suki and lowering his voice so that she would be the only one to hear him, Adrian began to describe what he was seeing while trying to formulate a plan.

Suki waved her hand in front of her nose, "yeah I can smell."

She pulled Adrian closer, "so what is our plan?" she said then added. "So do we attack?" she said as she pulled out her 'blade' and held it like a real knife.

Stopping short of laughing, Adrian smiled.
