RE: Behind Enemy Lines (Day One)
Trsyta turned and popped herself up on to a table. Her feet swung under her as she spoke, "You can ask any Saberblade. At one point in each of our lives, Graff reached in to our world and saved us."
Aelyn nodded, "I remember the time he saved me. He had just arrived at the Academy," he said then turned to Trysta, "this was before you and your sister came." He turned back to Jaden and Duncan, "I was running late in returning to the Academy. The sun was setting and I have gotten too involved in shopping at a local farmer's market. I tried to get back, but I got caught by a local street gang." he shook his head, "I was stupid. I should have been watching the time more closely." He pulled his arms around him, "they were going to rob me, if I was lucky, that only would have been it. These gangs had been known for killing cadets."
Aelyn drew in a deep breath, "I didn't even know him at the time. I tried to escape, I tried to run, but they caught me. I tried to run again and they caught me. It was then I realized that they were toying with me. I dropped to my knees and offered them all I had. The leader took a metal bar and was going to beat me with it. That was when he intervened. He saved me from what could have been my death. And for that, I will always be grateful for him."

RE: Behind Enemy Lines (Day One)
Jaden wiped the remnants of sick from his mouth. "He seems like he's a good man. Helping complete strangers and wanting everyone to be treated equally.," Jaden said. 'Kind to those who follow, but ruthless to those that defy him. And they talk about him as though he's their savior,' he thought as he tried suppressing the urge to vomit again. 'He has to be stopped, no matter the cost. Even if I die we have to stop him from ruling and creating that future,' he thought with conviction. "So where is he now?"

"Actually if you don't mind showing me somewhere that I can freshen up first. I mean unless you enjoy the smell of vomit on my clothes and breath," Jaden asked and playfully added, "unless you're into that sort of thing. I won't judge." Inwardly though he was analyzing what she had said. 'So either they don't know when he's arriving or they do, but aren't gonna tell us. Makes sense though,' he thought.

RE: Behind Enemy Lines (Day One)
She blinked at him in confusion. She didn't smell vomit, in fact she knew he had just been cleaned up to wash all the Bacta off of him. She shrugged her shoulders as she motioned, "sure follow me."
Trsyta led him through the winding maze that had become a small town within this former mall. "We are not really a hotel, so to speak. But there is a place to get washed up." After a few minutes, they arrived at a large made man lake that used to be the lowest level of the parking garage. "When the power went out, the sump pumps all fallen. After a few days, this area got flooded," She explained. She pointed to the damage to the garage. "Many civilians had taken shelter here during the opening hours."
Trsyta couldn't understand why she suddenly felt remorse. She fought back the tears, as she continued. "It took us two weeks to get the bodies out. We had to swim through the area cleaning debris and bodies."
'Why do I feel sadness,' she thought trying to come to terms with what was wrong with her.

RE: Behind Enemy Lines (Day One)
Jaden could hear the sadness in her voice as he heard her speak. He could tell that she was feeling remorse for the lives that were lost in the opening days of the war. 'Whatever Lysire did is making her feel things she probably hasn't felt in a long time,' he thought as he moved next to her and put his hand on her shoulder as a sign of empathy. "You don't have to say anymore if it's causing you pain."

He quickly washed and dried himself off before getting dressed again. 'We thought this mission was gonna be easy. Get in, gather intel, and get the hell out before they discover who we are. Simple. Now we have the future of the whole galaxy on our shoulders,' he thought as he made his way towards Trysta. Among many of the things that caused him confusion she was taking precedent. 'Months ago I thought of her as an insane murderer. Now I actually am starting to care for her and want to help her through her inner struggle. Is this because of Lysire?' He found her by the destroyed land speeder and approached her.

RE: Behind Enemy Lines (Day One)
Jaden cracked a smile at her little quip. He added one of his own by saying, "Well I don't smell as pretty as you do." Duncan rolled his eyes at the two of them acting like lovestruck teens instead of the young adults they were. He then said, "Well you said that you were gonna show us around so let's continue to do that. Unless you've got anything better to do."
