Missing You

Once Jaden was done talking to Gadeon he roamed around the gardens just enjoying the peacefulness of the morning. He grew solemn as there was one person that he wanted to share this moment with, but she was Force knows where in the galaxy and unfortunately on the wrong side of this conflict. He missed her more and more as the days without contact went on and knew she was just a comm away, but until now he didn't have the right time. He then decided to take advantage of the lull in action to make up for it and dialed up her comm while hoping she was able to answer.

It had been a long day and even longer night. Trysta heard the comlink going off as she rolled over, "that damn slave driving droid," she said rolling over as she pulled her pillow over her head. "I will hack him in to small peices and then blast those pieces in to the nearest star I can find." The comlink continued to sound as she pulled the pillow tighter over her head, "three hours, that's all I asked for.....THREE DAMN HOURS!"

She flipped over, tossing the pillow off the bed. "I don't care what Graff said," she grumbled as she snatched up her comlink. "This bastard just won a first class trip to a solar retreat!"

"What!" She snapped as she activated her comlink. Anger flashed across her face as the image of the caller took shape. Suddenly her anger vanished as her mind realized what her eyes saw, "Jaden!" She said with surprise and happiness. "You are a sight for soar eyes."

Jaden blinked in surprise at the annoyance she had in her voice when she first answered. He then noticed that she was dressed in her usual sleeping attire. "Did I catch you at a bad time?"

Trysta laughed, "your calls never come at a bad time," she said as she rolled to the side of her bed and moved to a sitting position. "No, it's not you. It's this damn Tactical Droid Graff has teaching me. Well us. Hell each and everyone last Saber Blade has been going through what Graff calls Strategic Training. You ask me, it's more like pay back from the Droids."

She laughed a bit, "but I guess if I am going to lead my own field army I need it."

Jaden raised an eyebrow at her words. "Field army? Why is Graff having the Saber Blades lead a field army?" He definitely did not like the sound of that. 'I have a bad feeling about this,' he thought to himself.

She laughed at his statement, "you are so cute."

"Not a single field army, he wants each of us to be at the level of leading our own unit," she explained. "It's no different than your own command training you and your brother have been undertaking." She leaned in to the image, "or are you saying I am not fit to lead!"

Once more she laughed, "I know, all this hotness and combat senses too." She held up a finger and waved it in front of her, "honey I can conquer your worlds and rock your bed....."

The troubled look Jaden had as he remembered his Force Vision of Trysta locked in combat with a Jedi while a circle of droids watched was replaced when he heard her last statement. "That's funny," he said to her, "the last time we were together I seem to remember a lot of rocking, but not on a bed." He had a lascivious smile on his face as he recalled that last night. "And for someone's bravado they certainly clung tightly to me as we christened that tree because of their fear of heights."

I sheepish smile crossed her lips, "well I am a bit scared of heights." But then winked, "but that wasn't the reason."

"I heard you guys were on Devin (Baklid VI),"she said with disappointment in her voice. "That's the second time we were close with no time for a date. I hope ita not an Omen of the future"

Jaden felt the same way as his far away lover. He wished that circumstances were different with them being on opposite sides. That they could just be two regular people on the highway of love. An idea came to him and that idea blossomed into a song. He looked into the holographic image of Trysta and began to sing in a soft, melodic tone:

She smiled as he sang to her and held her tongue till the song was over.

She giggled as she poked the holographic image of Jaden, "you are such a man." She blew a kiss at him, "I wouldn't want you any other way."

"It would appear I will be enjoying beach drinks all by myself. Well that is, unless your group wishes to invade the water world of Kel Al Shamor." She leaned back and smiled, when Shamor joined the OPA, I secretly hoped that we would get a mission there. Even if it's a training mission." She leaned forward, "have you ever been there? Oh Jaden, it's a place I know someone so sweet and romantic like you would love. White sandy beaches for as far as the eyes can see. Now I can't complain about this kind of training mission."
