RE: I'm a damsel, I'm in distress, I can handle this. Have a nice day!
Ni maintained her stoic, regal pose and cleared her throat. "I have come to request an audience with the chancellor, please," she said in the same formal tone, "just one meeting." She realized her feet were splayed and quickly straightened them out. She had trouble figuring out how and where to hold her hands, so after fidgeting with them a bit she just placed them behind her back.

"This is my proposal," answered Ni, straightening her back a little, her voice almost monotone like Unna's usually was, "And I promise to be on my absolute best behavior, as you see me now."

Ni blinked in surprise. "No, I'm being serious," she replied, a little hurt that her attempts at being serious had garnered this reaction.
It was apparent that Ni was using examples to model serious behaviors. She only had Unna and Gadeon to go off of. Her poised posture she had borrowed from Unna and her stoic expression seemed to be a reflection of Gadeon.

"It seems forced. Perhaps you should relax. It is not your body language that makes me apprehensive to take you to see the chancellor. It is your history with allowing words to come through your mouth unfiltered. You have made your opinions of the chancellor very clear in the past. That is fine, but you will not get your way if you end up insulting her in person and I do not wish to be responsible for bringing you to the chancellor if that could end up occurring. You currently exhibit good behavior, but I am unsure how you will react when you find out that political processes are not as simple as you seem to think they are. You are a bit of a loose cannon, Ni. That is why I will require that both Gadeon and I be present with you."
"Excuse me," Unna said as she sat down on the edge of her bed, relaxing herself. "You should relax as well. As for proposals, when you suggest that someone do something as large as free the clones, there are a lot of logistics that come with it. It is not as simple as saying 'be free, little clones' and all is well. No, you have an entire workforce to replace. Workforces cost money. Those are just examples. Ni, I want you to succeed in this. I honestly admire that you have taken to caring about a cause that really matters and can make a difference to so many lives. It is an issue I have pondered myself, as I have cared deeply for clones in the past. The hectic life that comes with traveling with the 10th Division has prevented me from doing so in the past, but now I am inspired to help you achieve this goal in any way I can. That means I will likely have to walk you through all sorts of boring stuff. That is fine with me. I need to be a little less active in the coming year."
"Ni," Unna said, grasping her stomach, "I am carrying Cox's child in my womb."

Ni seemed confused by this random fact. "Oh, um, congratulations!?" she said, giving a thumbs up, unsure if this was the proper response, "I'm glad you found the person you want to settle down and touch bikini areas with."
"So, about the clones," continued Ni, "replacing the workforce may not be necessary. We could offer them paying jobs. I understand that this won't be a simple thing to do, but that is why it needs to be discussed with the chancellor. She would know the most about the situation."
