Rebecca’s 10 Day Plan
It is important to note that Rebecca will need to have better magical armor so that she can resist damage. She will ask Simon to create said armor for her while she is making the following items.
Day One through Seven (longer if required): Rebecca will work closely with Kira (and Richard if possible) to make a number of magical items. She will draw upon the mana of the house to ensure that the goals of the following items are met. Rebecca will not stop until the goals of Richard and the party are met. She will put her heart in to this effort.
Each day, Kira will create a time bubble so that Rebecca can extend caste. Anything else that Richard can do to help Rebecca will accept. The goal is to keep casting on the magical items till its success exceeds one hundred. If Rebecca can get Richard to help her avoid having to rest, she will keep casting till the goals are met.
Rebecca will be targeting two hundred successes for each item. But if she has to accept one hundred fifty (or greater) this will be a suitable target if unable to reach two hundred. The minimum success will be one hundred fifty. It is understood that these will be long sixteen to twenty hour days.
Each time Rebecca casts, she will be rolling 10 dice while using eights again (if possible, if not nines again) plus whatever support she can get from the party. She will use what ever she can to reach her goals. Even if it means going in to the upcoming combat completely tapped in mana/stamina. The party will be prepared for the upcoming encounter.
Item One: Will be a Greater Spirit Summoning for this one skin walker. This Item will take the shape and function of a Thumper from Dunn. The goal is to make a summoning item/artifact that the spirit cannot resist no matter what. This will be the bait for the trap.
Item Two: Siphon Essence. This is meant to make the Skin walker weaker so that the party can attempt to capture the skin walker and imprison it instead of killing it. This will be the first goal of the party, capture and imprison the wayward spirit instead of killing it. The two hundred success goal must be reached with this item. Rebecca wants to give this creature a chance of survival, even if in a prison. If Rebecca has the time she will make a second item like this to give the party a second chance to capture it. However, Rebecca will not place the party in harms for this goal. She will focus on Plan B once she has made one Siphon Essence item.
Item Three: Destroy Spirit (Plan B). This item (possible two or three if time permitting) will the final weapon against the skin walker. It is important to understand that this is not a WMD! This item will be tailored for this Skin Walker and shall note harm any other spirits. The creation of this weapon will be done in complete secrecy! Only those involved in the direct creation of the item(s) will know about it. This is done so that the skin walker will not see it coming. Richard will ensure that the party doesn’t have memories of this item, only the activation words. The spirit cannot have any idea of what will be coming. The activation words for these items will be Plan B. This item will be made in such a way to finished the skin walker no matter what. This will be the last encounter with this spirit, and this item(s) is meant to ensure that. Success target of two hundred must be met before a second or third item will be made.
Once these items are made, Richard (or Simon) will be given the items one and three while Rebecca will maintain item two. She will take the time to explain how each item works. Any time left over will be spent resting from the effort.
