Chapter Two: A Whole Old World

From the far entrance an angry voice called, “KIMIKO!” It was the Sho Sho Tetsuhara standing in the entrance. “You were told to remain in your quarters” Sho Sho Tetsuhara said in Japanese. On that note, the older female officer started to cross the room over towards the stage.

Kimiko leaned in closer to Jake and whispered to him, “have you ever felt imprisoned within your own life?” There was a look of complete disappointment on her face as she pulled back. She turned and walked towards Sho Sho Tetsuhara. Halfway off the stage she turned and faced Jake and gave him a soft bow, “Thank you, Lieutenant Straker for sharing the stage with me. If for only a moment.” She turned and continued to walk towards the Sho Sho. As Kimiko continued to walk towards the Sho Sho, her bodyguards rose from their chairs and started to follow the Sho Sho. It was clear that Kimiko’s short visit to the lounge has come to an end.

At the other side of the lounge the Doctor nodded, “yes yes, I am sorry for crowding you.” He said stepping back and allowing Thorchan to continue towards the table where the rest of the party was sitting. “Please be careful, you have had a very troubling recovery” the Doctor warned.

Over in the medical bay, Adrian was able to complete his task without being discovered. More importantly, Adrian was able to recover vital information about what was going on.
