RE: Chapter Three (Closure)
(OOC: The following is the result of search regarding New Earth. Sorry for the time delay. This actually proved to be harder than I expected. It was a matter of not sure which information would be located on the Dropship's Mainframe.)

The ship’s database on New Earth read more like a tourist information than a tactical database.

New Earth: A Delightful Whistle Stop

Your visit to New Earth will most likely begin at Conceptopolis Spaceport (No such place shows up in Lyona’s laptop). Designed by the famous Federated Sun's artist and architect Sir Philip Quin Merritt, the Conceptopolis Spaceport is a shining jewel in New Earth’s crown. Its vast halls and galleries often host a wide range of art from across New Earth. The concept behind these galleries is to show off New Earth’s diverse and wonderful culture.

A massive shopping center was built above a state of the art transit station, which links the spaceport to the rest of Sagittarius, and below the spaceport. This shopping center offers but a taste of what lays before any New Earth adventure. Wary from a long space travel? You will find Hotel Merritt, one of the most luxurious hotels in the entire Isle of Sky. With restaurants, holo-theaters, galleries, and even sports bars showing the latest mech battles from Solaris VII it is possible to have an enjoyable vacation while remaining within Conceptopolis Spaceport.

For those travelers who seek to explore New Earth, you will find an open and friendly people waiting for you. Well known for its extreme winters, New Earth is often called Iced Earth, so bring your coat. Across the northern and southern continent winters get very cold! Once the onset of winter takes place, temperatures drastically change dropping over ten degrees a day. However, these mini Ice Ages shouldn’t snow you in. Across Sagittarius, the southern continent, you will find several communities who are open and welcoming to travelers. No such community compares to Wiedergeburt!

But before you leave the spaceport, make sure you stop by the Travelers Center. Here you can exchange your money, find out about local customs, and New Earth laws. Remember that New Earth enforces its laws regardless of citizenship. After your taste of knowledge, the beauty of New Earth and tempted by what awaits you beyond the spaceport, it is time for a short two-hour train ride to the capital or other wonderful destinations around New Earth.

Wiedergeburt is the capital of New Earth and its seat of power. The capital city is a two-hour train ride from Conceptopolis Spaceport. During the summer you will find vast open markets and street side cafés that line the 'Iieta' Miah (This river is called Weib Fluten in Lyona’s laptop). Across the Capital, you will find a nightlife filled with fun. Be warned, public intoxication is a finable offense!

As you are touring the capital, one place that should be on “Your Must See” list is the Presidential Palace. Built by Baron Fredric Kilt, former cruel leader and avid supporter of Acrhon Claudius Steiner. Like his ally, Baron Kilt was a bloodthirsty ruler who saw Marik insurrection across New Earth. The bloodshed and crackdowns was continued by Fredric’s son and his grandson. This dark period of time came to be known across New Earth as Waqt Alaikhtibar, or the Time of Testing. (No such reference exists in Lyona’s Laptop)

Located within the Presidential Palace is the Waqt Alaikhtibar Museum. As you walk through these hollow halls you can take in images of three generations of brutal crackdown on New Earth’s Islamic Communities. Once a place of fear and origin of terror, the Presidential Palace has become a Global place of remembrance. This period of hardship ended in the 3020’s when New Earth erupted in Civil War. As factions allied against Baron Kilt, they fought a bitter for New Earth’s freedom. Despite best efforts, the war stagnated. (No such reference exists in Lyona’s Laptop)

With Wiedergeburt behind you, you will find the mountainous region of Pisces. Here you will be able to tour a number of Civil War battlefields. Guided tours are available through the Tourist Bureau. As you tour the very battlefields where General Death unified New Earth and defeated the powers of evil, you will be walking through a remarkable time in New Earth’s history. Hero of the Civil War, General Death created a New Earth government. One not chosen by Tharkad or Atreus, but chosen by the people of New Earth. (No such leader or reference in Lyona’s computer)

After touring historical battle sites, enjoy wine from some of the best vineyards across New Earth. While Pisces is littered with wide open farmer markets. One of the most growing tourist adventures is the Pisces rivers tours. Crisscross Pisces via its hundreds of rivers and enjoy Pisces low country. These river boat cruises often include battlefield and vineyard tours. If you plan your trip correctly, you can take a seat at Pisces’ Watermelon Festival. This annual harvest festival is the single largest festival on New Earth. Visited by tens of thousands of tourist and celebrates New Earth’s agricultural heritage.

Located just outside of the city of Reinhard, is the New Earth Advanced Technology Museum (No such reference exists in Lyona’s Laptop). Be warned, while there are numerous wonders to be seen across Pisces. Pisces holds some of the harshest laws on New Earth. The Tourist Bureau has created a department to help tourist who have found themselves in violation of some of Pisces’ laws. Every major city has a Tourist Bureau Office and all local law enforcement departments are required to allow foreign tourists have access to the Tourist Bureau.

Once you have had your fill of Pisces and its wide verity of hearty foods and wine, a short hope north will find you on the shores of Cancer. The first city most tourist from Pisces reach is Wildedeer. This large fishing community has all the old world charm of Terra with the fresh flavor of a colony. Many of these fishing families have been harvesting the bounties of the northern waters since the early days of the Star League. The catch of the day is New Earth King Lobster! Harvested during the late months of fall and in to winter, the New Earth King Lobster is the most dangerous catch on New Earth.

Cancer is more than fishing and coast lines. The interior offers some of the most wonderful camping and outdoor recreation on New Earth. Even during its extreme winters, Cancers winter sports can offer wide range of family fun. During the summer months, special hunting permits for Cancer’s wide opened expanses can be acquired from the Tourist Bureau. You and your family can enjoy hiking along the Grand Expanse Glaser that runs north to south of Cancer’s heart. Or take one of many camping expeditions from the coastal city of Seona.

After enjoying the wilderness of Cancer, you can wrap your trip up with a visit to the central island of Aries. This historic island was once the home of the Legendary Star League Defense Force. During the early twenty-ninth century a massive asteroid impact of the northern coastline (No such reference exists in Lyona’s Laptop). The impact nearly ended all life on Aries and sent the New Earth in a winter that lasted nearly a century. As the skies cleared, New Earth crawled back from the destruction. The people of New Earth refuse to allow this event to shape who they are. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the city of Cyprus.

One of the oldest settlements in the entire Inner Sphere, Cyprus is a rich city where history and the future meet. In the shadows of glistening skyscrapers is the Terrain Observatory. Acknowledged as the oldest structure off of Terra, the Terrain Observatory is a must see for any tourist visiting New Earth. Its thousand-year-old telescope, still functions today. An hour’s drive from Cyprus is the city of Balitor, where tourist can catch arena style mech competitions.

Wanting to bring a surge of tourism to New Earth former President and Hero of New Earth, General Jake Death vested millions of his own money to build ten Solaris style arenas (No such reference exists in Lyona’s Laptop). Being a former champion of Solaris, General Death set these arenas up as a spring board for promising Mechwarriors (No such reference exists in Lyona’s Laptop). Each year, Mechwarriors from around the Isle of Sky come to New Earth to compete for one of five seats to Solaris and a place in Hurricane Stables, the very Stables that General Death set up during the 3020’s.

After enjoying between two to three weeks on a whirlwind tour of New Earth, it’s time to bring your adventure to a close. Where your trip begin, so shall it end at Conceptopolis Spaceport. On behalf of the people of New Earth, we hope that you will enjoy your trip to New Earth. Remember that if you have any questions during your visit, please contact the Tourist Bureau.
