RE: A Cake for Lysire
"I'll be the one, right now," Unna thought with determination.
She walked toward Older Undead Future Unna and examined her closely. Jedi garb, huh? Well that's not surprising, considering that this is apparently Yanibar and the ashes of the Zeison Sha are falling like snow onto Unna's head and shoulders. Unna didn't intend to become a Jedi, but it appeared to be her destiny, especially since she could never go home to Yanibar ever again. Still, Older Unna had her discblade and a lightsaber that was not the one that once belonged to Passik.
"So, I was brought here to fulfill my destiny?" Unna asked her future self. "Or at least the version of me who died in this universe. It must be an important destiny. The versions of Lysire...they say that this will happen to others if I do not learn. What must I learn? What will my role be?"
She carefully secured the cake in one arm, against her hip, and bent forward to pick up a handful of ashes and placed them in her pocket. Would they be there when this was over? She guessed she would find out. There has been so much loss and so much to mourn, but now is not the time. She'd save the ashes for later, just in case they would still be there.
Now is the time to be brave and be the one. For this, Unna was determined, as well as determined to get answers.
"Will you walk with me?"
