She nodded with minimal emotions on her face, "it is my belief that many people often would like to believe that doing what is right require some great effort, so that they might attribute a measure of worth to their actions."

She paused a moment before continuing, "very few understand that in doing what is right or wrong, selfless or selfish can be equally demanding of effort or as effortless."

She pointed to a bird sitting on a railing, "take a bird. Today it might find a worm with no effort at all. Tomorrow finding another worm might require more effort. Does that change its desires for food or increase the value of its efforts?"

She turned to Gadeon, "we do what we desire because we choose that course of action. It takes no more or less strength to do right compared to what is wrong."

She paused once more, "the paths we choose are more attributed to our desires to pursue Dukkha, or things which are incapable of satisfying. Rather be good or wrong, when we pursue that which can not be satisfied, we open our selves to disappoint, frustration, and even anger. Then regardless of effort, it turns sour and allows darkness to grow in our hearts."
