RE: Get it Together
"I will make a pact with you, because I know your concerned about procrastination," Unna began to assure Gadeon. "I am not trying to procrastinate right now, but I do need to get ready for dinner once we are done speaking, so it won't be necessary for you to guard my door. If Lady Baku should come by, I do wish to speak with her and bring some things to her attention, as well as discuss my recent purchase with her, which reminds me of something I need to ask you. When you attempted to stop the saboteur at the outpost, did she have a barcode on her neck?"
Unna walked across the room and poured a glass of water for herself, as well as one for Gadeon. "I will make a pact with you that once we have concluded our duties here, I will allow you to remind me and keep me on track with the process of atonement, should I fall to procrastination. I know you are concerned for me, and I appreciate it. I still worry that atonement could be very complex for me. I regret using the force now to carry out my will, but I can't help but think of the alternative possibilities had I not taken action. I know...it's pointless to dwell on such things."
Unna took several gulps of her water. She definitely wasn't used to talking this much, especially since Nontho and Passik were no longer there to encourage her to use her voice. Her mouth was dry.
"I agree," Unna nodded as she topped off her water glass and sat it on a coaster. "The disunion is troubling. It was never like this back at the enclave."
Unna looked curiously at Gadeon as he spoke of feeling the death of a being. "No, I have not..." She didn't know what else to say, so she would listen.
