RE: Lunch over the City
Unna listened to the exchange between Duncan and Master Stephen. She looked down at the table and took deep breaths as she kept herself calm. Being such a bad bluffer, she made no attempts to hide that she was troubled. She only kept herself from becoming more upset.
"Tristan Blay..." she said once the two men had finished speaking. She was still polite, but she was hurting as she spoke. "That was her name. Tristan Blay. She was a dear friend of mine. I am deeply saddened by her death. It seems you are as well, but only because you took her for granted now that you recognize your life was easier with her around. I was not acquainted with her politically as you were. I was merely a protector turned friend. With that being said, I can see how it is more beneficial to help the people help themselves, rather than just giving to them. However, I will always be scarred by her death on a personal level. It is a loss I have yet to be able to mourn properly, so excuse me if I seem upset. I must request that we refrain from discussing her in a negative light."
"Now, I do hope that Marhal Haze's programs for the people, as described, are effective."
