In a tone that is somewhat loud and angry, "What's maddening is I'm still in love with her. And I hate her. And I hate myself for hating her. And I would do anything to have her back."
Cox stands up with his arms half-heartedly ready to hug. His lip quivers, face scrunches, and eyes fill with tears. She can tell that he is holding back even more crying than she saw earlier. He does not appear to speak or move any further.
(Unna senses grief. This is the first time she's sensed grief in Cox and she gets the impression it may be the first time since his lover died.)
