Unna straightened her posture and took on a more serious tone. "As I was saying, such things take time. If anything positive can be accomplished, even if we avert just one deadly battle, I feel that my trust building would be worth it. I do not know that I am the best person for the job, but they do feel that they can contact me for whatever reason, be it our pasts, be it they think I am naive, or be it they feel I can be swayed to their side. I honestly sympathize with their cause, I find their methodology and cult to be appalling."

"As for Praeta Syrdash, I have her ear. She listens to me and trusts me. I have advised her against firing in this war and she has heeded my advice. I know that many of you disagree with her and how she came into power. I do not agree with everything she has done as well and understand why many do not trust her. She has by no means been a model politician. I, however, do not view her as The Supreme Chancellor. To me, she is family in a strange way. I know that she is not family to the rest of you, although you and Ashla are my family. Perhaps someday I will see the others as family, but again, those bonds do not form quickly in most cases. It certainly did not form quickly with Mother Syrdash. I once cautioned Auro in the same way that you did, and felt the same concern for him as you now feel for me. I greatly appreciate that we can talk like this. I do not know what the future will bring for our group, especially with our differences in political opinions as a whole, but I will try to be mindful and not ignore you all for her. The problem is that we all must do what we feel is right and we all seem to feel fundamentally different about what is right. I wish to continue to be there for her, as well as you and the others. I hope that I am not too ambitious with my hopes, because we seem to be growing more and more divided over the topic."
