The Zeltron visibly deflated at this. "I could never...I don't want to limit you, Gaddy..." she said quietly,, "And if I ever do, I hope you'd tell me...I don't want to hold you back..." Ni gently collected all four of his small hands in hers and looked directly into his eyes, her own lids brimming with tears. "If this is what you want, then so be it. I want to continue to help you...if you will let me..." she had to release his hands to quickly wipe the wetness from under her eyes. "I'm sorry, Gaddy...I can't control it, I'm so afraid..." Ni mumbled shyly, staring down at her knees, "When I almost lost Martyr Boy back on Corruscant I felt--I realized--" she reached up to touch her heart, searching for the words that eluded her and shaking her head in dismay. "Did you know I only recently remembered what happened to my Master? All those feelings returned to me..." Ni said with finality, "I don't ever want to lose someone like that again...or feel that again..."
