Kaleb wondered if he should tell her about this. Would she accept it, or would she think he was out of his mind. How do you tell someone that not only are you from a different time, but a different reality. He exhaled as he was about to let out something he had been holding back. "The crew of the Jupiter 1, Durro, Tesara, and myself are from a different reality. But more than that, a different time. Where we're from the Republic doesn't exist anymore. Hasn't existed for nearly two decades. The Jedi are all but extinct. The Republic fought a war against a coalition of systems that left the Republic because of they felt their policies were corrupt. The Supreme Chancellor of the Republic was granted emergency powers to fight this war, and they created an army of clones. By the end of the war the Republic had won since the Seperatists were defeated, but the Chancellor had amassed so much power that he dissolved the Republic and created the Empire in it's place. He said it was for the good of the people. To give them a safe and secure society. But from what I've seen that was only true for those in higher circles. Circles where Ava was educated and trained in. Everything she knew doesn't exist the way she knew it, and as such it never existed here. There are similarities, but it's different. And for the first time in her life she was treated differently than she was used to. But that opened her up to seeing how others, your people are being treated. Does she always handle things the way I would, or Tesara or Durro... no. But she's learning. The only way she can keep herself sane is to stick to her training, like I have. I might have adapted quicker. But mark my words she is learning this now and is adapting at her own pace." he said doing his best to explain it to her.
