The following are facts that have been learned within the first hour of the intruder's attack on the
USS Thunderchild
1) The identity of the attacker has been identified by the computer as
Petty Officer: Dolores Traver. Her medical and service records are available for review. This identification comes from the physical appearance of the intruder based on the seconds just before the attacker beamed off the ship. However due to sensor malfunctions, this identification can not be confirmed beyond a 76% likelihood.
2) Proxima shipyards has confirmed (to their surprise) that the USS Susquehanna has been stolen. They can not confirm when the ship was taken from their yards. However they can confirm that it was signed in just over two months ago. This was the last time they can confirm the ship was in their custody. A computer virus was discovered which moved the Susquehanna's current location within the yards making the search for the ship difficult. This coupled with the fact that no one was looking for the ship allowed it to 'slip through the cracks' and vanish from their yards.
3) Despite Cadet Madhev's severe injuries, she will make a full recovery and will be able to return to duties in two weeks. The acting Chief Medical Officer, Doctor Ron O'Keefe noted that had the intruder not risked those vital moments, that Cadet Madhev would not have survived her injuries.
4) Acting Chief Medical Officer, Doctor Ron O'Keefe was also able to identify the blood left behind by the intruder. With 79.3% likelihood, the real identity of the intruder was
Maura MacConnell (AKA The Gypsy). He did note that the DMA had suffered a level of damage that has made a more positive identity impossible. Despite the computer's identification, he is sure that his identification is correct.
5) Long range sensors have identified eight possible warp trails. Each leading to well traveled areas of space.
