RE: Briefing’s with Unar and Duncan (Open for everyone)
Ashla sat back listening to the conversation taking place. She was pleased that Unna decided to help her explain this very difficult situation. “It is very disappointing to tell people the truth only to have them not believe me. But on the other hand, I don’t know if I can really blame them. It is a very hard thing to accept. I don’t know if I would accept it, if I were in their shoes.”

She looked down as her thoughts rushed forward and then she smiled, “I got it” she said with pride. Ashla reached in to her pocket and pulled out a coin. It was an Imperial Credit, “it’s really the last thing we have that is from our own world, um universe.” She handed the small token to Duncan. It was, on its face a credit. The weight seemed right, but the style and design were all different. Instead of it being a Republic Credit, it had the words, ‘1st Galactic Empire’ inscribed on it. The value of the coin was, ‘Five Imperial Credits’

“We were on Alderaan, at one of the local farmer’s markets,” Ashla explained. She turned to Unna, “I bought a bag of dried, cured meat and the merchant gave me this as change.” She tried to smile, “do you remember that day. It was the day before we were forced to leave Alderaan. Remember the music in the air. The smell of the market.” Her voice tailed off as she remembered all the people she had once knew as friends, as family. All of them who are now gone. “I remember watching you and Nalan,” she said speaking of Knight Nalan Passik. “You two were always so close,” she said trying to smile. She looked down for a moment, “I was always so jealous of you two.”

She looked at the small piece of metal. “I don’t know why I held on to the coin for so long.”

OOC Mike said that because all credits are electronic and it was already ruled that credits carried over could be used here, that this coin would be the only one he was allowing. I kind of begged him for it. Lol. He wanted me to make it clear that the coin holds no valve in New Horizons other than as an oddity.

RE: Briefing’s with Unar and Duncan (Open for everyone)
"I can show you where she got that," Unna assured Duncan. "I can only show you what I have seen." Unna closed her eyes and telepathically transnitted a series of images into Duncan's mind.

"This is the market Ashla speaks of." Unna said, as she showed Duncan an image from when she used to sell her crafts at the market. There was a smiling happy customer purchasing a hand carved, hand dyed quarterstaff. He was paying with a handfull of coins that looked identical to Ashla's.

Next appeared an image of storm troopers walking through the market. They were very intimidating to the sellers and shoppers alike. "These are the Imperial soldiers. This is what the 501st looks like where we are from."

Unna then sent another image. This was of Auro hatching. His mother stood proudly, smiling lovingly at her new baby boy. Next to her stood an Iktotchi male and female couple. "This is when Auro hatched. The Iktotchi next to her are my parents. The man is my father, Uneer Chaanu."

"This is the day his mother died," Unna said as she sent an image of an infant Auro being handed to her by his mother. They were on a ship. Uneer Chaanu could be seen in the background, clearly wounded and flipping a switch to ready the ship for flight.

Next, Unna was looking through a porthole. Praeta Syrdash, along with the female Iktotchi and others were making a last stand against the storm troopers.

"This is when our mothers died," Unna said, as she showed Duncan the image of the explosion that engulfed them.

Unna became unsteady and opened her eyes. The normally stoic looking girl was clearly shaken. It made her sick to her stomach to focus on that image long enough to transmit it to Duncan. "I do not feel so hungry anymore." Unna breathed deeply, fighting her emotions.

Unna closed her eyes again. It was difficult to compose herself. "Forgive me," she said with a shaky voice, "if I skip the part where my father died in the ship. I will just show you where I crash landed." She conjured an image of a lake with a spaceship nearly sunken. The landscape appeared Alderaanian. There was a Twi'lek female to the side. "That was Passik, who Ashla mentioned earlier. She found us and took us to where Auro grew up."

"Here," Unna said. She showed Duncan her first memory of the Enclave. A human male was accompanied by a younger Ashla, along with several other children. A cabin could be seen in the background. "This is where we are from. We had just arived." Unna shakly smiled at this image. It was a good memory and elevated her mood a little, but it could not completely shake the feelings from the earlier images of death.

"I will take this opportunity to show you a few happier images. They are somewhat relevant, but I have more bad pictures to show you." Unna thought back to an image of a very young Ashla, even younger than she was in the previous image. She was coming out of a bush. "Those seemed like trees back then..." Unna forced a laugh. She was getting tired, but she knew she must keep going. "This was on the Corouscant our Ashla is from. My parents took me away. I never thought I would see her again, but the Force brought us back together."

Unna showed a few images of Auro growing up. Climbing trees, swimming, learning. He was older in each image. "This series is just so you can see that I watched him grow up. I also needed the break from the sad memories, so I can show you how we got here."

Unna breathed deeply to prepare herself for what was to come. "Now that you have seen where we were, I will show you how we got here."

An image of Unna staring through yet another porthole appeared. Nontho could be seen fighting off bounty hunters. Next, Alderran could be seen through the same porthole. They were in space now. Finally, she showed him an image of fire.

Unna shook and could not help but cry as she opened her eyes to see anything but the image she sent. Her vitality was getting low and she simply could not handle anymore of these images. "I need to rest..."

Unna pressed against the top of the table with shaky arms to stand up. "Please excuse me."

She left the cafeteria with a shaky gait to disappear into her bed and sleep this off.

OOC: I kept track of vitality and am able to successfully use telepathy by taking 10.

Duncan stood as Unna left the room and then retook his seat. "It's all so... fascinating." he said. He had no doubt that what they told him could be plausable, especially with all the evidence they showed him. Of course master Dooku would remind him even evidence could be faked. But something was telling him this was real. "I look forward to learning about what the Jedi from your..." he didn't know what to call it. "From your reality were like in comparison to how we are here."
