Getting Physical

[Jaden_Starchaser]

His body jolted as though he was struck by force lightning. He looked like a cornered animal as his breathes came in short shallow pants for several seconds until he got himself under control when he saw Ni's concerned look. "Ni.." he said softly.

[Gar]

"Oh, good, you're just daydreaming!" Ni giggles, "You scared me for a moment!" She pats him on the back firmly and then plants her hands on her hips. "So, uh, why did I wake up here? Last thing I remember is... Huh, it feels fuzzy, like a dream.." She shrugged and promptly walked into the kitchen area to make them both breakfast. She was used to waking up in strange circumstances.

Jaden shook his head to clear his thoughts and turned off the caff maker. He grabbed two cups and poured the hot steamy goodness into them. "I sent you a message to wake you up so we can train, but I take it you're not a morning person," he said while looking for any cream and sugar. Once he found them he put three teaspoons of sugar and a dash of cream into his. He then asked the Zeltron, "Do you take cream and sugar in your coffee?"

[Gar]

"Yes, please, and I take my mornings after eleven AM, for future reference," she answers teasingly, gathering a few eggs to scramble, "But after breakfast we can train! Now that I think of it, I haven't trained it a long while."

Jaden lightly chuckled at her morning comment. "Yeah well I'm too used to Demaya making me get up this early for training. Even earlier if she's going to teach me a "lesson,"" Jaden said to her. He poured the same amount of sugar and cream into her coffee and brought it to her. "Let me know if it needs more," he said before taking a sip of his own coffee.

[Gar]

Ni thanked him for the caff but shook her head when he started talking about Demaya. She sighed and said casually, "Do you always let her boss you around like that? Your brother is the real Boss Man! You should've have to take any of that kind of torture from her. If you ask me, I think she is just grumpy because she hasn't had a good lay in a while!"

Ni mixed some pieces of sliced mystery jerky into the eggs and made short work of them. She dumped a large serving onto one of the metal plates and hunted down a loaf of bread. Upon finding it, she returned, added two large slices on the plate, and handed it to him with a satisfied grin. "Lots of protein!" She said cheerfully, "I think I heard somewhere that's important for training, but I can't remember."

As Ni turned to make her own plate for breakfast, she gasped and spun around. "Oh! Maybe Gaddy Daddy will want some, too!"

Jaden laughed when Ni cracked on Demaya's lack of a sex life. Inwardly though he had to groan as while Demaya's dry spell is more than likely longer than his that doesn't change the fact he's on one as well. "Yeah well my brother may be the commander of the division, but Demaya is captain of the ship and I'm ship's XO so by military chain of command she is my direct boss. If Duncan gives me an order though his supersedes hers," he said.

He accepted the offered plate with a thanks to the cook and dug in after finding a fork. After the first fork full his taste buds were in heaven. "This is delicious," he said to her, "the eggs are just perfectly fluffy and the jerky offers a bit of spice that goes so well with it." He dug back in with true enjoyment; especially since he usually just made protein drinks in the morning before training. ""I didn't see Gadeon in the bunks when I woke up. Maybe he went to a separate part of the ship to mediate?"

[Gar]

"You're welcome," said Ni simply as she made her plate and set it on the counter next to him. Her face suddenly lit up with a realization, saying excitedly, "Actually, youre right! Gaddy wakes up for meditation around this time!" She reached for her com and then realized she didn't have it. "Hmm, did I drop it in the main hold?" She mused to herself, not very concerned, shrugging it off. "Hey Jaden, can I borrow your com?"

Jaden reached into his locker after taking a drink from his caff to get it it only to grab lint and air. "Ohhh. I may have left it in the bunks to charge," he said with a nervous chuckle. He reached into his other pocket and pulled out his datapad. "Here use this to text him or vid call him," he said and handed it to Ni.

[Gar]

Ni gladly took the data pad and called Gadeon on the com. Her smile was wide and her voice ecstatic as she greeted, "Gaddy Daddy!! Good morning!! I made breakfast!! Will you join us in the main hold?!" She smiled happily and ended the message, spinning around and setting the data pad down. She skipped into the kitchen to fetch more eggs.
