Behind Enemy Lines (Day One)

RE: Behind Enemy Lines (Day One)
The thought crossed her mind before her lips spoke the words. She only smiled, "okay come on." Once more she led them through the complex. The upper levels were residents and commons. There was a building that was reserved for the Saberblades only. She smiled as they walked past, "sorry your not a member," she said heading off any requests to go in.

As they moved through the lower levels, they saw the maintenance bay. A large hollowed out lower level of a department store. The back wall had been blown out, giving the vehicles direct access to the Capital City's underground transit lines. Within the maintenance bay, there were ten walkers in various stages of repair. And a republic assault shuttle being repaired.

"Everything we have, we owe to the Resolute and it's crash on world," Trysta said with pride.

Jaden and Duncan took in the view of the maintenance bay and took note of the walkers and the assault shuttle. Duncan saw that they looked just like the walkers that he saw as they were leaving the town while Jaden took note of the status of them and the shuttle. Using his engineering knowledge he knew that some walkers were going to need a lot of work while others only needed minor repair. The assault shuttle is what caught his interest. He whistled in appreciation. "Does that baby fly?'l he asked Trysta.

Duncan saw the shuttle and the walkers. He hadn't realized it before but he had in fact seen them before. As he waited to hear Trysta's answer, he was already trying to figure out if they could take it in order to escape.

RE: Behind Enemy Lines (Day One)
Trysta smiled and nodded, "we call her the Nightbringer." she said and motioned you to follow her, "you will love this." she led them away for the shuttle dubbed Nightbringer, and to a section of the maintenance bay where crew served weapons were being build.

There she showed them three cannon like things. The thing was on two wooden wheels that were wrapped in metal bands. There were hammered plates that looked like it came from either a walker or maybe even the hull of the Resolute. "We call these Olivan specials," she said showing off the very low tech cannon. "Here, let me show you what it fires."

She walked over to three wooden crates. "We found a pair of downed ARC-170's to the south of the city. We were able to scavenge these." She opened the crates revealing four bastard versions of a proton missile. Based on what they saw, the warheads were removed from the missile body and secured in to a brass shell casing. "We can't fire the missiles cause we don't have a usable launcher. But when we use a chemical propellant, they are going to make for a great Walker Cracker." she thought for a moment, "maybe that is what we should call the cannon," she smiled and nodded, "Walker Cracker. What do you two think?"

The brothers observed the weapon she spoke of. While it was crude both brothers knew that the projectile would do serious damage to the walker's hull. They made a mental note to include it in their report when they got back to the Vengeance. It was Jaden who then spoke,"That name fits. It's gonna crack through the hull like wet tissue paper. Who came up with the implementation?"

RE: Behind Enemy Lines (Day One)
She motioned across the bay to a female Olivanee hard at work on one of the cannons, "that's Kulap." She motioned them to follow, "come on, lets meet her."

She walked up to the Olivanee, "Kulap?" she said softly, "mind if we talk with you?"

The woman looked up. Her greenish hair pulled back in to a tight braid. "I mind, no."

Trysta smiled and nodded, "they like your new cannons."

She looked to Starchaser brothers and nodded, "thank you."

RE: Behind Enemy Lines (Day One)
They nodes back and Jaden said,"Definitely shows ingenuity. How'd you come up with the concept?"
