He isn't doing this alone and the situation wouldn't be much better if someone just as bad were to be appointed in his place. Duncan agreed with contact Sola and maybe have her control the search for Hays’ replacement. “Yes, with her families influence that should be simple enough if we can convince her. However before we contact her we should have him in custody or risk tipping our hand.” He mentioned as he called up the route the shuttle took as it was followed by the Vengeance’s sensors. As a pilot, he knew how long it should take for them to arrive at pump station 3. If there was a delay in time it could indicate that he was dropped off somewhere.
