A Hot Time In The Old Town

Ni gave a thumbs up to Ashla and approached the bar, still panting slightly for air. She caught sight of Duncan and waved excitedly. "Boss Man!! HEY ASHLA, LOOK, IT'S BOSS MAN!!" the Zeltron exclaimed happily, running up to him and hugging him tightly. As she pulled away she looked over his outfit and slid a finger down his tie approvingly. "That is a handsome look for you!" Ni complimented, biting her lower lip flirtatiously, "Whatcha drinkin, Boss Man?" She turned to the bartender and motioned him over, ordering a drink for herself and Ashla.

The crowd around the bar stared at the human and his loud, strange Zeltron friend with either concern or mild amusement.

"All right guys I hope you're ready because this next one has some heat to it," Jaden spoke into the mic after getting a drink of water. "Come on boys let's hit it!" The man playing the horn started the next song and the rest of the band started playing.

The band then played in conjunction until the trumpet player took center stage to deliver another rousing solo. When he was done Jaden got back on the mic and continued singing

Ashla danced on the dance floor, soloing it like she knew what she was doing, thinking she was doing a pretty good job. Once the song was over she clapped and waited for the next song to play.

Cox does research on his datapad to check on the show. He sees what the band is playing and that there's plenty of time. He gets dressed and speeds over to meet up with the group.

Cox enters the club wearing red swing dancing shoes, gray pinstripe pants, a white button down shirt, matching red suspenders, a gray pinstripe bowtie, and a grey bowler with a white band. He looks around the room, finds Unna, and smiles as he walks towards her purposefully, as though no one else is in the room. He takes his hat off and places it over his chest as he says hello to everyone. He leans in to whisper in Unna's ear, "A beautiful woman like you should have a full dance card."

Cox stands up straight, puts his hat behind his back, and holds his hand out in front of Unna. "Shall we?"

[Unna Hi Chaanu]

Unna continued to watch the show until she spotted Cox in the club. She smiled as he approached, stunned that he seemed to know how to dress for the occasion.

"What is a dance card?" Unna asked, unaware of the slang terminology. "I do not know how to dance to this music."

[Duncan_Starchaser]

Duncan smiled at the Zeltron "Thank you, you look good as well." He told her. "It's a Nabooian whiskey." He replied as he took a sip of the light amber colored drink. "You look as if you've been having plenty of fun."

[Gar]

The Zeltron laughed, "And you look as though you aren't having enough fun!"

The drinks came and Ni tipped her glass, downing the liquid in one go. She set the tip on the bar, then took up Ashla's drink in one hand and Duncan's hand in the other. "Come on, Boss Man! I wanna see you dance!" She giggled, urging him toward the dance floor.

Duncan had just enough time to put down his now empty whiskey and grab his Thuris Stout. "Well I did just get here." he told the Zeltron as he went along with her.

The Zeltron looked over her shoulder and smiled at him brightly as she pulled him to the dance floor. She found Ashla in the crowd and handed her the orange drink, saying, "Boss Man needs a little assistance in letting lose! I'll be right back!"

Then Ni brought Duncan to the center of the dance floor and looked up at him suggestively, the triple entendre dripping in her playful tone as she asked, "I assume you know how to lead?"

Duncan thought that would be an interesting challenge since he still had a hand that was occupied with his drink. "Well if I don't, I'm sure you won't mind showing me a thing or two." he said returning her smile as he placed his arm on her waist and then started dancing with her.
