Chapter Three (A): Adrian & Suki

[Aria Blackthorn]

Suki looked around and saw nothing around her, "Adrian, if there are not pointed at us. Who are they pointed at and why are they quiet?"

She moved around nervously without having any idea of what was going on. "Adrian?" she said reaching out for him.

[Ice Hellion]

Knowing he had no choice but to calm down Suki and stay with her until things cooled down, Adrian reached her and hold her hand.

Shh. I am here Tiger. Don't worry.
They are not pointed at us, they just got their weapons ready because it seems Kimiko, the one they are protecting went missing. And they think we have something to do with that.

Turning to face the bodyguards, all of them and trying to sound more confident than he was, knowing for dealing with the mob that it was one of the ways to stay alive.

What do you want from us?

Alima looked at Adrian, "we need to know where your Captain and pilot are at." She walked up to Adrian, "listen this is very serious. If you can help us find them or Kimiko it would help us greatly."

[Ice Hellion]

Thinking for a moment, Adrian was once again torn. There were several wayd but he didn't want anyone to get into their communication system and he didn't want to show them how gifted he was (and how old and easy to hack their systems were).

Turning to Alima, he said

I don't know where they are, I am not their mother but I might have an idea. I need an access to your computers to help me track them down.

Turning to Suki

But Suki stays with us.

Adrian could see Alima's through her red tinted glasses narrow. It was clear that she didn't completely trust Adrain, but at the same time the bodyguards didn't have much of a choice. There was not much time spent to considering the options.

What Adrian found to be surprising was that Alima was a junior member of the bodyguards and yet she wasn't speaking with the other members of the bodyguards. It was if they were right here with them. Adrian already guessed that these three were in communication with each other, but what of the others within the group of bodyguards. Could those not here in person be linked via their computers? If so, how far was that range? Did they have their own network or did they share that of the dropship. Questions Adrian would have to wait to answer.

Alima nodded, "there is a computer in the medical bay. We will go there."

She motioned for Adrian to follow her. "Get your friend and lets go," she said walking for the door.

Everything was happening so fast for Suki. It was as if everyone were simply ignoring the blind girl in the room. She held tight to Adrian's arm as he led her wherever they were going. She didn't want to be a burden, so she just kept silent.

She heard Adrian say that she would remain with them. Suki felt not so alone after that statement. As they were moving to wherever they were going. Suki leaned in closer to Adrian, "thank you for not abandoning me."

Turning to Suki and giving her his hand.

Come with me Suki, we have some work to do.

Pausing one second when he heard Erik into his Comm, Adrian hoped that Erik would no give access to the network to the Kuritans.
He replied to Erik.

I have other plans to find out where is everybody. We are heading to a computer and I should be able to find them easily without anyone giving anything.

Swearing and wishing his legs weren't so bad, he tried to increase his pace while not losing sight and contact with Suki.

Suki allowed Adrian to lead the way while she also allowed him to lean more heavily on her. "So we are looking for Jake? So how are we going to find him?"

She thought for a moment after she heard the communication between Adrian and Erik. "Um isn't the uptight guy, um Eric, isn't he in charge? Why aren't we going to a hanger bay?"

Turning to Suki

Yes, we are looking for Jake and the woman that sang.
And no, we are not going to hangar bay because there are several of them and I might have a better way to find him.

[Ice Hellion]

Pausing one second to hear what Erik was ordering, Adrian seemed annoyed.

But...
Okay, we will go there.

Turning to the others

There is a change of plans. We are heading to the closest hangar.

Grumbling on his way to the hangar, Adrian was not happy but kept his voice low, just in case someone might listen to him.

My plan was better and they wouldn't be able to tamper with our network.
Who knows what they will do?
Who will have to work extra hours to make sure everything is fine?

Getting close to the door to the hangar, he opened it and...
