Padawan Julet laughed as the young Yarkora ran off with question after question. She turned to Master Salaban, "Master, if you don't mind, I will take him on a tour and address all of his questions."

Master Salaban nodded as he looked at the young Yarkora, "You are well known to us. A well gifted youngling in both the Force and in the mouth. Let us see which one will take dominance over the other." He turned to Padawan Julet, "Take him and show him around."

"Yes Master," Padawan Julet said with a soft bow. She turned to the youngling, "Come on, I will show you around and answer your questions." As the two walked off from the larger group, she turned to the smaller creature, "Don't worry about Master Salaban. That is just how he is. He will push you hard and demand the very best that you can offer. But if he didn't see potential in you, you wouldn't be there. Each youngling that comes here, has passed his personal review first." She explained as they walked further down the passage ways of the main landing bay. "Well how safe are we here? That is I guess an easy enough question. We are pretty safe here. I have been here for two years and have not seen one successful attack on Imaginous. However as for dangers, there is the Artuosh. I have found that they are the hardest thing to contend with. At first they used to scare me as they walked around. They look like monsters. But once you get to know them, they are pretty easy to get along with. I think I am even finding it easier to understand them. But that comes with time." she explained laughing.

She motioned to a near by lift, "That is the main lift, it connects all the buildings together. If you think of the complex like a group of buildings, it will be easier to figure things out. There are five main buildings which make up the over all complex. The first building is the Main Landing Bay and its support facilities, here, Jedi learn to work on their own fighters. There is a number of guest rooms also located in this building as well. This entire building is harden just in case of attack. Very few guests are permitted past this building. That is at the request of the Artuosh and the Futuosh. You should have seen the scene that some Senators made when they came for a visit. But they remained in this building. The next three buildings is the living quarters for the complex. The Artuosh and Futuosh occupy the first two and no one is permitted to go there without permission from the elders. The last quarters building is for us and the complex personal. We kind of share for now. But soon our Temple will be completed and we all be moving in to there." She paused to point at the large Temple Project which can be easily seen from the massive transparent ceiling of the Landing Bay.

"The next building is the Medical and Science building. You should see some of the work going on there. Its really cool! The people that work there tend to stay in the quarters there. But sometimes they work there way out to visit and take breaks. We get all kinds of scientists coming and going all the time. They make up bulk of our visitors. There are plans to open up a University here as well but that has not been ruled on by the Council of Elders. Yeah, they run the place. Even the Jedi Council go to them for permissions when dealing with issues of Imaginous. The last building is the Military Sectors. That is manned by a bunch of Azgardians and Military guys. We are not allowed to go there. Though Master took me there once while he was tending to his duties. They have this table that watches everything that is going on in the system." She explained then paused to take a breath. "So your question about where you will be staying and sleeping, We stay in Building Four, level six. That is where all the younglings stay." She turned and looked a bit confused, "oh the world above. There is no atmosphere and its lifeless. So don't play around the air locks. And pay attention when they run their Drills. The military run drills once a month to help and make sure that everyone knows what to do during a breech in the complex."

"As for the food here, most of it is brought in. Some of it is okay and all of it is eatable. but I think it tastes terrible. Before I came here, I used to live with my family and my mom would make these really yummy cakes. I sometimes miss them but not so much now. There is fresh food grown by the Fotuosh but that tastes even worse than what is brought in. They love it, but I think its yucky. You asked about visiting your family once training starts. It all depends on the Master who trains you. Though I have heard that your Master is already selected. For me, Master Salaban is a member of the Inner Light. So they have no attachments what so ever. It has been explained to me that I am not to have any either. That means no family. It was hard at the beginning. I couldn't understand why I was not allowed to see or speak with my family. But Master Salaban explained it to me that loyalties and attachments can lead me down the path of the Dark Side. My family knew this before they agreed to allow me to train here. They knew that I would not be returning. There are a few Padawans that don't have this, but they are very few and their training is much harder. They are Padawans of the Sabbat who face attachments in dealing with emotions. They start training at a very young age. We are too old to be Sabbat."

She moved closer, "If you ask me, we lucked out. They walk around not allowed to show any degree of emotions. Their Padawans are not allowed to even hang out with us at all. Sounds like a prison to me" She said laughing.

"As for other places to visit in system. There are a few military outpost scattered throughout the system but generally this is home." She stopped at the lift, "So you ready to take a tour of the complex? I can't show you everything but I will do my best." She shrugged her shoulders, "I know I didn't get all of your questions but in time I am sure we will address everything." With that she paused and glanced at her own lightsaber, "Oh but I can say this, you will be issued a training saber. Its not like mine, but it functions nearly the same. Well aside from not really doing any harm. When your Master comes and takes you in to his or her training, then you will get one like mine. When you are ready to become a fully trained Jedi, you will have to make your own."

The lift opened and they stepped in, "So where to form here?"

"Is there a recreation room somewhere? How long is training? you mentioned that some start at an early age and then you yourself have been here for two years. Does that mean my training starts as soon as I meet my master/sensei? I get that there's a lot going on but do they have the time to span out ones training like this? Could you tell me more about the council of elders?" Intrigued by Salaban's encouragement Jalak-Adaka continues to acquire more information without revealing much about himself. 'It's not my mouth he should be concerned with...' expressing genuine interest as to avoid suspicions "Who are the Azguardians and the Sabbat padawans dont they share some missions with other Jedi as well? I cant imagine they are 'that' isolated from the galaxy. Another thing, the robes that the padawan and Jedi wear... is there someone I could talk to about tailoring?" while noticing the garb of miss Julet and thinking of ways to express more distinguishing tastes.

Padawan Julet smiled at Jalak-Adaka's comments and his attempt to conceal his origins. She looked at the young Yarkora "Yes there is a recreation room for us." She said as she activated the lift and watched the doors close. "training is a life long thing. That is why those of us like you and me come here before our ninth birthday. It is tradition that the ninth birthday is celebrated here. Just like yours will be celebrated here. Youngling training starts the day after your ninth birthday and will continue till you are ready to be taken as a Padawan Learner. A Master will come and select their Padawan from the Younglings around. However some like you, so I am told, have already been selected by a Master. Though I am not sure how that will play out. I received my Youngling training on Lotra, Master Salaban showed up one morning and demanded to speak with me. I was so worried that I had done something wrong. He asked me a bunch of questions that really didn't make sense. Now, though some are starting to make sense. We left Lorta that afternoon and came here."

Padawan Julet thought of the next question as she gathered her thoughts, "The Azgardians are like our big brothers. They watch out for us and make sure that no one comes here and harms us. They fought during the Great Galactic War on the side of the Republic. All I know is that they are a warrior race and our protectors. As for the Sabbat Padawans, their side of the Order is very different from ours. Master Salaban once said, 'to enter in to negotiations with a Sabbat is to accept defeat and give them what they want.' I still don't understand what that means. But I can tell you this. They hand pick their Padawan Learns from a very young age. While we become Younglings at the age of nine, their Padawans become Padawans at the age of five. I saw a group of their Padawans come in one day but I have not seen them since."

She laughed while holding out her robe for him to see, "tailoring? its more like a one size fits all. But they are fitted. But they generally are all the same over all."

"You wouldn't happen to know who took in interest in me would you?" finding it hard to take in so much information at once Jalak-Adaka occasionally pauses momentarily. Tries to wrap his mind around the riddles she speaks of but comes up with nothing. 'So much has happened lately. its almost hard to believe I'm here. I hope I'll be able to sleep off the exposure to all this stimuli. The robes are going to need a good color scheme if its solid colors. maybe a green or a blue focus?' sees a patient look on Julet's face and quickly apologizes for spacing out. softly smiling back "Do you get a chance to spend time with other padawans at all?" and guessing that perhaps the elders and Azguardians were questions best asked to a master later. "What do you hope to accomplish as a Jedi?" following her lead out the lift toward the recreation room.

"I am sorry, I was not told who had their eye on you. All I know is that it is someone of great authority to be able to hand pick a Youngling who was not even part of the Order yet. As Master Salaban said,k you are well known to us." As the lift shot downward deeper in to the complex Julet did not interrupt Jalak-Adaka's thoughts. Only when it was clear that he had concluded his thoughts did she finally speak up, "The complex is nearly five miles below the surface. In the habitation buildings, that is where you will spend most of your time, there are these vast gardens that have massive sky lights above them. The Futoush tend to the Gardens. The habitation gardens are the only parts of the entire complex that reaches the surface. The rest of the complex is all underground. I asked Master Salaban about the complex and why it was built the way it was. He said that it was once a military post and the design came out of a nature of defense."

She noticed that the lift slowed down then started to move sideways down another tunnel. "We are now traveling between the habitation buildings. We are almost there. The Futoush are all force sensitive. While they are nicknamed tree people. They are not plants. Though it is easy to forget that. Did you know that they actually communicate with the plants of the complex?" she said with a hint of surprise in her voice. "I teach a class to the younglings about the gardens. It is a very basic class about the living force and how it affects the garden. Psst, a Futoush, helps me teach it. Well he does most of the teaching, I just lead the younglings to the class and sit and listen. Master Salaban believes that in teaching those younger than me will help me learn my place and master the skills needed to teach when I become a Master. The Padawans when we are home stay down the hall from the Younglings. While we might be separated by a pair of doors, the Padawans and Younglings tend to stay close together. Because Master Salaban is in charge of Youngling training here at the Imaginous Temple, I get to spend more time with the Younglings than other Padawans. So you will see me more than other Padawans."

Padawan Julet paused a moment and pondered his question. The lift doors opened to the vast Habitation Building. Walking in from the lift, it looked more like a massive grand hotel. Jedi of all sizes and colors were walking around. "Welcome to the Imaginous Temple. Well our temporary home, till the Temple above is finished." She led him from the lift and past a group of Jedi walking in to the lift. "As for what I want to do as a Jedi. I was raised on born and raised on Lorta. But my family was not from Lorta. They were refugees from the Great War. My mother was always so sad that they can not return home. Sure they loved Lorta, but it was not their home. My family is from Polosh. Before the war, it was an Independent World in the Core. The Reich invaded Polosh years before the Great War started. Many say that Polosh was the match that light the fires of the war. Now, Polosh is occupied by the Socialist Worlds of the Varl" She explained.

"My father managed to get my mother, my older brother, my older sister and me out of Polosh after the Reich invasion came. He never made it off world and we have not ever heard from him since then. Sure we attempted to find out what happened to him, but the Varl claim not to have any information on him. Both my siblings joined the Lorta navy during the War. My brother died during the Battle of Bothawui. We were told that he died a hero trying to save his fellow shipmates. The King of Lorta actually gave my mother a metal for his actions. My sister was a fighter pilot. During the Battle of Vendaxa, her fighter squadron was ambushed by Reich fighters and escorts behind enemy lines. While most of her squadron managed to return to their carrier, she was never heard from again. My mother took her own life some time after that. because of my age, I was put in to a foster family. They were very nice and treated me like i was one of their own. I guess they are as much my family as anyone else is. But I do think of my own family and what happened to them."

"The Minister of Defense back on Lorta still has my sister listed as missing in action. Among with tens of thousands of others from that war. That is what used to hurt the most. Wondering what happened to my sister and father. The pain of those losses used to really bother me. Thankfully I met my Jedi Recruiter. And just like yours, he saw the Force in me. He moved me from my Foster family and placed me in the Temple on Lorta. There was given special counselings for my feelings and the loss. It really helped me over come those feelings. For me, being a Jedi is very important. I want to be part of the peace that both my brother and sister gave their lives for. The Great War took so much for me. I don't want another kid to suffer that kind of loss like I did. When I look at the Masters around here, I see in them the hope of a better tomorrow. And sometimes I do wonder if I will find out what happened to my sister or my father."

She pulled out her datapad and turned it to a holo-image and showed him the image.
   

"This is the only image I have of my sister. It was taken two weeks before she was lost during that battle."

"So you are from Fra? That used to be a strong hold of the Reich during the War. Before that, I am told that it used to be a strong supporter of the Varl. What was your home like? What was growing up like for you?"

"Oh do you want to see a picture of what the Futoush looks like? Here I have one on my datapad." she said showing a picture of the creatures known as Tree People.

something about that phrase 'You are well known to us.' puzzled Jalak-Adaka. 'How can someone know about me without having meet me? Maybe some of those stories I've been told are true....' once more spacing out as she told her stories about her life. Nodding every once in a while to her as to avoid being rude. Quickly loosing train of thought hearing about her teaching a class and Futoush using the force on plants. "You mean they allow...?" in a state of awe that at a young age the Jedi give such responsibilities. Seeing her facial expressions and following up that she assisted more so than taught reassured him of initial fears.

As the lift doors opened into the destination, he couldn't help but be impressed the architecture and so many Jedi running around. "Are they all Knights?" With the padawan's voice drowning in the background as they walked through the crowd as he can while avoiding running into someone. Jalak was impressed that so many species were gathered in one place let alone not fighting among themselves. After noticing that some of the Jedi were looking back at him as well, he proceeds to look away in a timid manner resuming the last bits of Julets story. "Life is cruel at times. May you succeed in your quest."

As Julet mentions seeing an image from her data pad, Jalak abruptly falls to the floor from running into a Jedi's leg. "Ow..." looking up at who he ran into while ignoring the throbbing aches. He slowly picks himself back up before apologizing. "I maybe feeling that tomorrow. I'll be alright, when the aches fade." returning to the questions at hand with his traditions in mind. (will answer/edit more about homeworld when i come to an understanding lol)

"I didn't realized you had stopped miss. Growing up... i remember hearing tales of war stories or moving around a lot. I dont really remember my family either or many happy memories." gathering his thoughts before seeing her proceeding to show the image of Futoush and understands why they got such a universal nickname. "They do remind me of plants from a forest. I do have another question. Is everyone who is sent here to Imaginous a force user and exactly how many people are here?"

Julet smiled at his half statement and half surprise, "Master Salaban felt that it was important for me to learn how to deal with students at a young age. The Masters of the Inner Light feel that life unto its self is a learning journey. So they teach it to their padawans at a young age."

As they walked deeper in to the great hall, she heard his question about them all being knights, "No, some are older padawans ready to become Knights. Others are Masters" she said than motioned over to a pair walking from a set of lifts on the far wall. "Those two are Sabbat" she said speaking of the pair walking through the Great Entry Hall. "The female is Knight Core'ena while the male is Master Dunfee. Those two are always on some grand adventure."



She looked around and then turned to face him, "You know, its okay Jalak to speak of who you are. You are not among enemies here. Buts its okay, take as long as you need to feel safe before you decide to open up." Julet sighed, "Yeah, I miss the wide open oceans of Lorta. But the deep caves here can really be pretty. There is this one cave that glows all these rainbow filled colors."

She nodded, "Oh hey, its Youngling Lilith" Julet waved the youngling over, "You have to meet Lilith, she just got here a few days ago."
