Talking about the past with Unna

[Ashla Marr]

Ashla frowned, "I don't know why these attacks were carried out." She closed her eyes and reached out through the Force, "I can not sense a connection between them," she said almost confused. "The attack on the temple nor the attacks carried out yesterday" she said calmly. "There just isn't a connection between the two events" Ashla added.

Ashla opened her eyes once more and saw the city before her. She shook her head, "its as if we are being watched by eyes filled with hate and anger." Ashla turned to face Unna, "I think Gadeon senses it also."

She fell silent for a moment, "why don't we just have Auro and I follow you and Gadeon as you escort Lady Baku to her event tonight. That way Auro wont fill left out. I know it would not be following Lady Baku's request to not allow him near the event, but this way we wont be leaving Auro out of what is going on."

[Unna Hi Chaanu]

"Ashla, I see where you are coming from, not wanting Auro to feel left out, but after what Auro said, I do not fault Lady Baku for not welcoming him. I will not order you what to do. I do not have the authority or desire, but I will ask that Lady Baku's wishes be respected. This isn't about making Auro feel left out. I would imagine it is to prevent more words of fear and mistrust from being spoken in haste. I can not stop you and I can not stop Auro. I will only ask."

Ashla nodded as she smiled, "and that is all you should need to do, is ask." It was clear in her mind where her place would be. Despite what she wanted, she knew that Auro would need his friends close by. Unna was right, the best place for her would be by Auro's side. After all, Gadeon was much better at combat and if something happened, Gadeon's presence would be better served next to Unna.

She moved passed Unna as she walked over to a near by sofa. Ashla slowly lowered herself down on to the sofa. "How do you think Auro will take the ban," Ashla asked softly. She glanced back at Unna, "do you think that we should have Gadeon speak with him about it?"

[Unna Hi Chaanu]

"Thank you, Ashla," Unna said sincerely, as she walked over to the sofa and sat down next to Ashla. "If I could choose one person to be there for my brother when I have other duties, it would be my longest friend. We will, however, discuss this further with Auro and Gadeon. They could have insight beyond what I suggest to you. I do not know how Auro will take not being invited, but I hope he understands why he is not welcome. It is for the best, given his feelings toward Lady Baku. We can tell Auro together. I suspect he could become angry with me and that is when both Auro and myself will need a good friend like you to be there with him, though we as a group could end up deciding for Gadeon to stay with him instead."

Unna looked to Ashla, knowing how disappointed her friend was in the suggested arrangement. She placed a hand on Ashla's shoulder and spoke. "I know how badly you want to be by my side tonight. My suggestion is not a final decision. I hope we will come to a consensus as a group. At least, I am sure you, Gadeon, and I can agree on a course of action."

Ashla gave Unna a smile and nod, "I know your words are more of a suggestion than an order." She rose up from the sofa and brushed her robes so that they hung free. "Auro will see the wisdom of your words and respect Lady Baku's wishes. We have to have faith in him. The same faith that he has had in us." She turned and looked in Unna in the eyes, "I know it doesn't seem that way, but you will see. He will see."

"I know you have much to do before dinner. I will leave you to our preparations." On that note Ashla turned and slowly walked for the door. Half-way to the door she paused once more and half turned her head, "I know there is great concern for Mya. But we must never loose sight that the future is in motion. Knowing what we know now has already started to reshape that possible future. But at the same time, we cannot allow this information cause us to become distracted nor should we allow it to fuel our attachments."

She paused a moment before adding, "please be well and allow the Force to guide your actions." She waited for Unna to reply then left without saying another word.
