RE: Darkness
"I understand, Master, that it can't always be avoided." Unna explained. "If I would have not taken lives, other lives could have been taken. I have meditated, but I have not reached out to touch the lives I took. Is that part of the process to atone?"

RE: Darkness
She smiled, "atonement is a very personal matter and often takes place in such a way to reflect the heart. One can meditate and atone what they have done. But unless one truly understands all aspects of what happened transgressions can occur again."

She paused a moment, "take your friend Graf. He atones for what he did wrong but he doesn't go deeper in to why he did it. Why it was wrong. And more importantly how his actions have led to other suffering." She once more glanced at Master Chun who was working at his desk, no longer paying attention to the conversation. "It is only my belief that this is one of the most important parts of atonement."

She motioned Unna to follow her as she walked over to the desk, "many Jedi see things as black and white. Good and evil. And while this can be very helpful, this often lies to us. Graf killed those who meant to do evil things. Yes they were evil, but in seeing them as evil it allowed him to forget that they too are living beings. So he failed to realize there was a chance for mercy."

She reached down to the large unsealed box. "Mercy is a large part of who we are as Jedi. We often forget that." Her hand ran over the box for a moment before picking it up. It was clear that she used the force to sense the items within. "Padawan," she said softly. "You don't have to do this." She said as she picked up the box and turned to face Unna.

"Too much time has passed for you to know about those who you killed. But that doesn't mean you can't touch another life nearing its end." She moved the box for Unna to take. "If true atonement is what you seek. Than I task you with this. Without using the force, I want you to learn as much as you can about Cordelia Chase. Not about her crimes which put her here. But about who she is."

Once Unna took the box she leaned back against the desk as she continued, "yes she is a bad person. Yes she has done bad things. But I want you to learn about her story. Find out who she was before she became Vixen. Her hopes her dreams. I task you to do this without using the Force."

She looked in to Unna's eyes as she finished, "and I want you to report back to me when you feel your task is completed why this was important for you to learn."

RE: Darkness
"Yes, Master," Unna took the box. The task was clear to her. "Where can I go to look through these items?"

RE: Darkness
Master Fa'lynn drew in a deep breath as she remembered that Unna had once called this place home. "It is my understanding that the cruiser Right Sight will be the ship you are taking to Courscant. I am sure you will have quarters set up there."

She glanced over at the slab, "our friend will be transferred to the Right Sight closer to departure time."

RE: Darkness
"Thank you for your time, Master," Unna nodded, holding the box in her hands. She approached the desk before Master Chun and nodded to him as well. "Thank you for your time as well, Master Chun. I would be interested to gain your perspective in the future."

Unna walked out of the room and toward the Right Sight. She couldn't bring herself to look over the changes happening within the palace. Once she located her quarters there, she went inside and removed the lid from the box to take a look inside.
