Star Crossed Lovers

She nodded, "it would be a wise move. However, it doesn't work like that. Rather you are on world or off, you will be under the protection of this household."

She slowly rose up from her chair, "to gain our protection we burn a brand, just like this one," she said motioning to the Gold Emblem on her forehead. This piece of metal appears to be just like Trysta's expect made out of gold. "Everyone who is under this household's protection gets the brand." It was something that Jaden had noticed, that everyone within the house has the same brand on their forehead, even Trysta's cousins has the brand on their forehead.

Jaden took note of the brand and his hand flew to his forehead in reflex. He knew that was definitely gonna hurt and be very interesting to explain once he came back on the Vengeance. "I don't suppose there's an alternative spot for receiving this brand?"

(OOC: This scene picks up the last night that Jaden is on Bilrybak 7. In the morning, Trysta is to return Jaden to the Vengeance.)

From the highest of the branches, the skyline of Bilrybak’s capital city glowed in the distance. The view from the top of a Màthair or Mother Tree was truly breath taking. Even at night! From this mammoth tree, one could see clearly almost to the horizon. The largest of Bilrylbak 7’s moons hung in the early morning sky, casting its light across the thick forests that make up the entire surface of Bikrybak 7. The clear night sky showed off a blanket of stars, that twinkled and added to this romantic and magical night. It was if the entire night sky was lit up for a single pair of lovers.

High in the Màthair tree, a large canvas had been tied at its four corners forming a canvas platform. With the ground nearly a kilometer below, the canvas platform hung peacefully between four branches with a bulge weighing down the center. Nestled in the center of the five-meter square platform, a naked pair of lovers locked in a lovers’ embrace. The heat of passion quickly passing as the two fought desperately to catch their own breaths. Despite the cool night air, their bodies covered in sweat that glimmered in the moonlight. This moment had been building since these two arrived on world. Anticipation only made this moment that much sweeter for both. It was prefect.....

Steam softly rose from their forms Trysta looked down in to Jaden’s eyes. She smiled as drops of sweat dripped from her hair and merged with his own. The liquid result of their mating flowed down in to small pools under him. “I love you” she said with a horsed breath. She slowly slipped from him and laid next to him under the wide-open sky. “I will remember this night till the day I die,” she added pulling in close to him. She could feel his heart beat pounding in his chest and heard his breath race. “Don’t die on me,” she joked kissing his shoulder.

He smiled a bit as one of his hands was running up and down her naked back. "I know," he said with a cheeky smile after hearing her say she loved him. A frown appeared on his face as he remembered his battle with Nayla inside the Olivani Jedi Temple and the vision she was able to get him to believe where she whipped Trysta to death. He remembered right before the party's departure the relief he felt when he saw that she was alive. The frown stayed on his face. 'Never again,' he thought to himself. "That goes for you as well," he said.

She nuzzled her self close to his body and enjoyed his warmth. Yet, there was something in his voice. Something beyond what his words were telling him. She felt something from him that didn't match her mood. She couldn't put her finger on it, but she knew that there was something wrong. It killed her on the inside. She wanted tonight to be special. She wanted this moment to be prefect. Doubt filled her mind as she worried that she had done something wrong. She was far from inexperienced, however this was the first time she willingly choose to mate with someone. She needed it to be prefect, if only to prove something to herself. She fought back the fear in her voice as her smile faded, "Jaden," she said softly rising up on her elbow to look in to his eyes. "What's wrong," she asked in confusion.

"Just remembering something that happened on Olivan. It seems like forever ago," he said. He looked down at her and gently kissed her. He was truly enjoying this moment, but he knew that the next day would have them going back to being on opposite sides of this war for the galaxy. Talk about a mood killer.

Her heart sang as their lips touched and they explored the passion of that moment. When the kiss was broken, she gazed in to his eyes trying to gauge the moment. "Olivan does seem like a life time ago, My Love," she said softly. "But we can not let the passed grip our future. Be mindful of both the past and the future but not forsake the moment." She smiled a let a bit of a giggle slip from her lips. "I can't believe, I just remembered something that Lysire had taught me. That little book worm used to tutor me in philosophy 101 and..." she paused let out a laugh again. "Well all of my philosophy classes," she tried to turn the mood more lighter than it was.

Jaden couldn't help but laugh with her. That melodious laugh of hers was calling on his souls and was infectious. She was right. He was focusing too hard on events of the past to think of the future or even to enjoy the moment. "Philosophy wasn't my strong suit either in the Academy. Too busy tinkering or reading about the past of the Order and the events around it."

Trysta was grateful that the mood was changing. She nodded, "my sister and I were really at the Academy for Jedi teachings. But it was made clear to us that if we didn't pass our classes we couldn't compete. So thanks to Lysire, we were both able to pass."

She slowly rolled over and gazed in to the heavens. "Unlike my sister, I hated the Academy." Her voice darkened in tone as she became serious. "From my first week, I hated it. I know you might find this hard to believe. But I abused over and over again by one of the instructors there. I never really talked about it. I couldn't really tell anyone about it," she paused a moment, "expect to Graff. He cornered me one night and wouldn't stop until I told him what was happening. That night, he stormed the billets for the Instructors. I thought he would actually kill him. I wanted him to kill my abuser. It took all of the masters at the Academy to subdue Graff." She whipped the tears from her eyes, "I so much wanted him dead that night. Instead, they locked Graff up and other members of the Saberblades."

She fell silent for a moment as she drew in her breath, "he visited me that night and warned me that if I was stupid enough to tell anyone else about our little love affair" she half laughed in disgust, "that he would make sure that I would never see my sister again."

She rolled away from Jaden as an attempt to hide her tears and shattered heart, "I hoped that with you it would have been different. That I could be with someone and it not be ripe with pain." she whimpered, "I'm sorry...."

Jaden held onto her and wiped her tears away. He remembered his time in the Fray Academy and the things he saw. "Trysta...I... I know what happened during your time in the Fray Temple. I know what Amerax did. How they kept it quiet. How you suffered the longest to prevent anyone else from suffering," he said. "I know what you did the night you took your revenge....but you know what? I don't judge you for that. I don't."
