"I had the Vengence as backup if anything should go wrong on Frey." he told her. "Here we have no such thing. If anything happens to the three of you while you're in there we have no way of knowing and we have no way of getting you out. I will be forced to continue this mission as best as I can without you or abort. In all honestly the only reason I haven't aborted yet is because I have faith in what these people can accomplish. But just because I have faith doesn't mean I don't want as man assurances as I can get. They don't know why we're here, they're trying to find that out. We don't know what the defenses around or in that palace are. And just so you know, even though I let you go to that meeting... when I met him" Duncan said motioning to Bay. "I had him send one of his Drones to keep an eye on you using burst transmissions which they never detected."

[Bay]

"Well, why not a similar trick for this?" Bay said. "If Unna is worried about how these people will view her if she's caught, let's just not have her be caught. I can build a small spy droid, no bigger than an few centimeters long and control it remotely. Anyone who sees it can easily mistake it for a large insect and if it looks like it's about to get caught we can destroy it remotely. I'm thinking a bit of acid should do the trick, All they would find would be a puddle. Unna has plausible deniability, especially if we have the droid infiltrate the location before she even arrives."

[Duncan_Starchaser]

"How would we get it there before the party arrives?" Duncan asked Bay.

[Bay]

"Something like this would be extremely light weight. Should be able to handle falling from an extreme height. We drop it from flying over head, or we could just throw it or shoot it from a distance."

[Unna Hi Chaanu]

"How kind of you to allow me to have lunch with my old schoolmates," Unna seethed with sarcasm and spite. "It almost makes me forgive your invasion of my privacy. There is little trust among this crew and if this poison is not stopped, we shall all succumb to its ill effects."

Unna turned to walk back into the ship as Bay spoke up. She turned to face him. As he spoke, her face softened a little. "That sounds like a good idea, however, I can take no part in it. I am not a good liar at all and I would not be able to hide it even if I wanted to do such a thing. I meant it when I said that you are a great asset to us all. I only hope that you will not become entangled in this web of spying on those who are supposed to be on your side. It seems to be a common theme in my life these days and I will ask that you not add to the stress."

[Bay]

Bay flushed and averted his gaze from Unna. He could feel his ears burn.

"S-sorry. Sometimes I get caught up on if I 'can' and forget to ask if I 'should'."

[Unna Hi Chaanu]

"That's okay," Unna replied, giving Bay an awkward pat on the shoulder. "Just think about the lasting consequences of when you make someone feel as if they've been encroached upon. It is not a good feeling."

Her gaze turned to Duncan as her red eyes burned with above average intensity.

"Bay come up with your ideas for the device or devices." Duncan said not backing down from Unna's gaze or turning back from his current orders. They still had time before they were supposed to go to the palace. He was going to use that time to center himself and see if he could figure out a better way out of this mess. He calmly left the bay to find a quiet place to do just that.

[Unna Hi Chaanu]

"I apologize for that," Unna said calmly to Bay, her face back to normal. "It must have been awkward for you to witness. Breaching my privacy seems to be becoming a prevalent theme in my life." Unna paused and let out a deep sigh. "Apparently the paparazzi is fixated on me now," Unna confided to Bay. "I may not have many days of privacy left."

[Bay]

Bay's ears burned even hotter. He remembered the tracking device he had given Ni his first day with this group. He had thought it would just be some harmless fun between friends. He had obviously been mistaken.

He had acted without thinking again.

"Are you like a famous person or something? I don't usually keep up with this kind of thing."

His newly rebuilt droid chirped and returned itself into a ball. Bay brightened and said, "If you like, I can probably build you a portable signal jammer. So if you want privacy, you can just turn it on and any communications near you will get scrambled... well at least any non-directional or non-military grade signals anyway.
